It was a bright day on Earth, well as bright as a day could be for eight in the morning. In New York the times tended to seem a bit distorted in relation to the time, it was a change from what Katana was used to from her home town. However she was still finishing up teaching school. In the mean time her sister and her had rented an apartment while they finished their degrees, her sister being in nursing school. However her sister would be returning home soon to be with her husband.

So, Katana would soon be alone in New York as she still had another semester left before she was done. As she awoke in the morning she yawned a little bit and got up and sighed as she rubbed her tired eyes. Her sister was already gone, out at her clinical rotation.

Katana took a quick shower and got herself dressed for the day. She was planning on just cleaning the apartment as well as packing up some of her stuff as come the end of the semester she would have to move to a different apartment, one she could afford on her own. Also, she didn’t want a big apartment if she didn’t need one just for herself.

Meanwhile, in a different part of New York, Tony was in Avenger’s tower going over some data he had. It wasn’t above the older gentleman to be awake at this hour, maybe even hours before when he was working on something. Heck sometimes he wouldn’t go to sleep if it was that important. However, while this was important he couldn’t really do much other than analyze the data.

Tony decided it wasn’t time for a break and left the work and went to the kitchen and made one of his robots get him a bit of breakfast as well as coffee. He sipped the coffee once it made its way around to him and then ate a bit of breakfast, but not much.

Soon he was done with his breakfast and decided to get right back to work. He didn’t have to concern himself too much with this data, but he wanted to go over it many times before he put what he was working on into practice. It felt almost impossible, like this was going to take quiet some time to get everything perfect. He had no doubt he could make it all work out, and he would.

He had been around Midgard for a while now. Loki was keeping unusually low profile for a while now as he was getting used to the Midgardian life style. Usually he would've made himself known already but his past with this city wasn't the best. So he preferred keeping to himself for now. It was also because people knew him already because of the battle of New York. The Mind Stone had controlled him as well but of course no one would've believed him. So he ended up in prison in Asgard. Well, with a few tricks he was out and about again.

At the moment, Loki walked down the streets of New York. He enjoyed early mornings as there was something about the chill air on a sunny morning. It wakened his senses and it almost felt like he was home. Sometimes if he squinted his eyes and the morning sun hit the sky scrapers, it almost looked like his beloved Asgard. Today, it was one of those days and he simply hoped it would stay longer than just for five minutes. But like everything else, it came to an end sooner than later.

Loki found himself walking down to him unknown street. Something felt off though. It was almost like something was using magic. But of course he knew it was nonsense. After all humans were so painly dull and boring. They hated everything that was slightly different or new so the human race would never evolve without any help.

Caia was up early for her run. It usually didn't bring her to the fancy part of New York. But somehow she had ended up running towards Stark's Tower. She had to admit that the Avengers logo was prettier than his own name plastered on it. She usually wasn't into making a diagnose people from afar but that sky scraper just screamed narcism at her like nothing else on this world. But than again New York was full of buildings that fed other people's egos so it fit right in. Breathless she stared up at the former Stark Tower - eventually though she bowed forward and rested her hands on her knees. She coughed lightly before finally catching her breath. Caia really should run more often in order to stay fit. But the last two weeks had been a mess at work and now, she simply tried to make up for the missed runs while her stamina seemed to be gone.

Trying to shake the feeling off that she should be inside the building instead of outside, she tried to continue her run. But still she couldn't move for a bit. It was almost odd like she should help with something - not that she even had a reason to. But still here she was staring at the entrance like some sort of creep. Almost ten minutes later, she finally was able to move away. Instead of running again, she moved to an nearby coffee shop as it felt like she needed a coffee. Some sort of uneasiness made her stay close to the tower. It was almost like the tower screamed help me at her or some sort of person inside.

Going up to the counter she checked the menu and ordered herself a Latte Macchiato to go. The different people radiated feelings off of them towards her. This was why she usually tried to avoid crowded places as to her this felt like sensory overload. One could compare it to a bunch of people trying to usher you from one way to another. It made her feel sad, happy, bored and many more things at once and it didn't help that she was tired. So her talent was harder to control anyways.

Katana was about to start cleaning when she realized that something was missing from her cleaning supplies and she grumbled for a minute. Soon though she decided that she needed to make an appearance to the outside world. She didn't want to really, but right now there was nothing else to do and she would probably pick herself up a tea or something from Dunkin Donuts so that she could wake up a bit more, as tea was more her thing rather than coffee. The Vyster sisters always got sick whenever they drank coffee, but they never kept enough tea in the apartment.

So, with that thought Katana grabbed her jacket, shoes, and her purse and exited the apartment. Before leaving she locked the door and then made her way down the corridor of the apartment building and then down the stairs to the first floor, which was only one flight since she was only on the second floor. She exited the apartment building into the street. She wrapped her jacket around her and sighed a little as she pulled out her phone to look for the nearest store, walking distance since she didn't have her car with her.

As she finally started walking she kept her eyes to the ground while she went through her jacket pocket and grabbed out some headphones so that she could ignore the world. After all, people seemed to always want to ask her for money, but she didn't carry cash on her, which was probably a good thing the more that she thought about it. However, in her search she ended up walking into someone and she cursed. "Sorry," she said as she straightened herself out and then looked to the man.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tony sighed as he looked at the time and noticed it was almost 8:30 by the time he had finished his breakfast. "Getting old," he joked with himself before he decided that maybe it was time to give himself a bit of a work out in the gym that was in the building. He got himself changed into his work out clothes, deciding to take more time away from the data than was probably necessary, but he felt the need to work out and get himself ready for the day.

He didn't do much for his work out, mostly just running on the treadmill and maybe lifting a bit of weights, but that was about it for him other wise. He was about to get on the treadmill when the screen for the front door popped up to show someone infront of the door and Tony sighed a little. "Ignore it," he said as he got onto the treadmill. He was used to people stopping infront of the tower while on their morning regiments. So, at this point it became a non-issue for him because he was used to it at this point.

So, he stepped onto the treadmill and turned it on and started his workout. Of course he was only going to spend about ten minutes on the treadmill and then probably do weights for another five or so minutes. So, once ten minutes were up he stopped and the screen popped up again alerting him to the fact that whoever was infront of the door was leaving. He shrugged his shoulders and sighed a little as he went and sat down, kind of already tired from his workout.

Loki looked around interested in the buildings. The sun was tinting everything around him in a golden hue, and the windows in the more prominent skyscraper almost made it appear like he was back in Asgard with their golden tinted glass. But eventually he lost interest in his surroundings, so he was on his way back to the part of the city he knew. After all, the golden hue turned into a redder color once the sun moved its way back to its zenith.

He turned to look left and right to cross the street. Loki had learned early on that humans didn't seem to care much where or how fast they drove with their vehicle. Before he could step away, he felt someone collide with his side. He turned and glanced at the strangers. His gaze was darker almost dangerous because he could sense that she wasn't human. Interested he tilted his head to the side and arched his eyebrow. This young woman might not be human but she acted like one. They all were so engrossed in the technology and those bricks they called smartphones. It was almost hilarious that they were enslaved to those things.

"Next time you should look at where you walk and not on that screen." he mentioned and looked at her. His gaze was almost staring as he tried to figure out what was different about her. Loki wasn't angry or anything but he was annoyed by her clumsiness that made him look more dangerous than he actually was at the moment. He simply wanted to live his life here until Thanos would go and stop looking for him.

Caia's thoughts still were with the tower or the strange feeling that radiated off of it. Almost like someone was exhausted but also she could feel the oozing confidence. Shaking her head she stared at the barista for a moment until the young man asked unnerved "So, you're here to order something or what?"
Caia smiled apologetic and ordered her usual a Latte Macchiato and a brownie. The piece of cake probably ruined the propose of this run. She had wanted to better her stamina but also lose a couple of pounds in the process. Like most women in her age, Caia had some places on her body she would prefer to change about herself. To her it was her thighs and legs in general. She might have nothing to complain about but still she hoped some regualr runs would define her muscles more.

She left the coffee shop again munching happily on her brownie and she took a seat on a bench opposite the Avengers Tower. She tried to figure out who's feelings she had felt earlier. Given what the news paper and some articles of gossip magazines, she would guess it was the infamous Tony Stark.

At the moment she could feel the tiredness of someone on her. Well, she didn't blame people. For most 8:30 am was too early anyways. She crossed her legs and watched the people around her before turning to her phone. She chose some music that would set her for her run back once she would finish her beakfast. Taking a sip from the hot coffee she looked up and could've sworn she saw someone working out near a window. She shook her head, telling herself that her mind simply was seeing ghosts now. She threw both the packaging of her brownie and the empty cup away, stretching herself as she prepared herself for her run back.

Katana looked at the man and her calm demenor turned to that of anger. "Oh well mister high and mighty, I wasn't aware my walking was interfering with your morning." She said rolling her eyes, "take that stick from up your ass and shove it somewhere else." She said as she shook her head and grabbed out her phone. She was more than pissed, "now move out of my damn way." She said as the street they were on right now was pretty narrow and she couldn't slip by him without him moving.

She didn't take shit from anyone, but she wasn't sure if that was because of just who she was or because of what she was. Either way she was always willing to fight someone and regardless of who the heck they thought they were. Of course, how was she to know she was talking to the God of Mischief, Loki? It wasn't like she exactly cared to get the name of the person infront of her, especially after his attitude. To her it needed adjusting and she just didn't want to deal with that. It wasn't her job to make sure everyone in the world was happy, not by a long shot. Her focus in life was to simply just teacher children and live to see another day, which given what she was wasn't too hard.

She then noticed the guy was staring at her, and that made her uncomfortable. "Either move or I'll make you move, it's your choice, but make it quick." She said as she didn't like when people stared at her. After all, it was creepy to have people staring at her, especially given her track record with men. It was the reason she carried around pepper spray now, incase anyone tried to hurt her because then they got a nice little spray to the eyes.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tony sighed a little bit as he decided to skip out on the lifting and to simply try and maybe get some work done on the data he was working with. His stomach was bothering him a little bit as he knew he shouldn't ever work out right after eating, it always caused cramps. However, he convinced himself that he would be okay, that he would be able to survive. After all, this wasn't the first time he did any of this, it was part of his routine. When he didn't have something to do to fill the time he would work out and eat. Though, he would often make the mistake of eating before his work out and end up tiring himself out.

He got himself up from his seat and the screen came on once more, the same girl from earlier and he raised an eyebrow curiously. "Jesus, is she stalking me?" He asked as he shook his head and grabbed a towel. It was a long way down from the top floor of Avanger's Tower, and if he wanted hope of catching this girl he would need the Iron Man suit. Right now, he didn't want New York knowing he was here. So far he had been successful in not going out that often, but he wondered if he should see what this girl wanted, why she seemed to fascinated with the Tower. He sighed as he shook his head, "Jarvis, track the woman's number and dial it please." He said as he walked out of the workout room and into the, what everyone else would call, living room. He sat down on the couch and sighed as he picked up the phone and waited for her to pick up.

For a man like Stark it wasn't hard to find someone's number and to call it, not with Jarvis on his side. All Jarvis needed was the image, a good one at that, of the womans face and he could get the number and any other information without a problem. While the phone was ringing though he looked around, "Jarvis, keep an eye out for any activity." He said as he figured he would keep an eye out for New York, like he had been the last week that he had been here. After all, he was still worried someone was going to attack New York, especially after Loki and those shenanigans.

"That talk of yours is not very ladylike," he provoked almost immediately and smiled politely. Of course, he knew how to use words to his advantage and how to stimulate people. So, it wasn't that much surprising to him that he riled her up the wall. He wasn't even sure why he chose to anger her like that. Lately, Loki preferred staying low key without people recognizing him.
"How about you go out of my way. I remember you colliding with me and not the other way around," he pointed out and raised his eyebrow over the way she talked. Loki wasn't used to people talking to him in such a manner. Even when he had just been a prisoner in Asgard, he still had been a part of the Royal Family. But then again he was used to Odin pushing him around. So it wasn't that different to him.

He crossed his arm and stared her down. His glance went cold for a moment, and it became clear that Loki was a force to be reckoned with. Part of him felt relieved that she didn't recognize him. It usually just brought a lot of complications along. Still, her behavior towards him was unacceptable, and he would fight her if he needed to. A little magic wouldn't hurt one of those fragile Midgardians after all.

He laughed amused as she threatened to make him move. Oh, somehow this unwelcomed meeting had turned into one of those entertaining TV shows Midgardian liked to watch.
"Please be my guest. Show me how you intend to make me move, Midgardian," he told her and waited excitedly for something to happen. She wasn't truly human, so he conjured a protection spell around himself. Loki preferred to be safe than sorry. He wasn't such an oaf like his brother was, the God of Thunder. If she were truly Midgardian, she wouldn't notice his protection. Only magical beings would be able to see it.

The AI did as told and used a picture of the young woman to get her phone number. "Calling Caia Armisa Armas, Sir," Jarvis informed Tony dutifully a moment later. Clearly, the AI had dug a little deeper and even opened SHIELD's file on the woman in front of Tony. The hologram displayed various random facts about her as well as her occupation for SHIELD.

Caia looked randomly at one of the cameras. It seemed to be fixed on her, and she frowned. The young woman glared and took some steps to the side to see if it was watching her. Once it moved, she shook her head and took it as a sign for her to leave. Not shortly after a couple stopped her for her to take a picture of them. Caia sighed and agreed to that. Holding the man's phone, she tried to get the couple as well as a bit of the Stark Tower into the picture. "There you go...," she murmured and picked her own up without glancing at the caller ID. Otherwise, she might not even have picked up the call. Caia had some bad experience with unknown phone numbers.

She gave the phone back to the couple while the caller was already on the phone: "...it's good. You're welcome." She picked up her run back home and finally addressed the other person on the line as she spoke via earphones "Hello, here's Caia. What's up?"

“Oh your worried about my mouth? Please, my mouth is the least of your worries.” Katana said rolling her eyes a little bit before placing her hands in her pocket. She didn’t have enough coffee to deal with this stuff, not by a long shot. However, something caught her eye, a glimmer that seemed to coat the mans body and she raised an eyebrow. That wasn’t normal, even she knew that.

Her mood was starting to sour though and honestly she wished she could just drench this guy and freeze him, like she sometimes did if someone got too rowdy around her. She likes to call it giving them a nice cold winters day. Most of her powers were healing, but they could be dangerous. After all, the ability to manipulate and freeze water wasn’t a power common among her kind.

She knew well enough not to use her powers, not in public. Though they were on a slightly abandoned street and she could get away with it, she just get like whatever was glimmering in this guy wouldn’t really allow her to use her powers effectively. So she decided on something simple, she could use the pepper spray, that might work. Then again it might not. She knew about magic, but had never dealt with it first hand. She had seen witches and demons use magic, even her own aunt who was a demon.

“Just move good damn it, I don’t have time! My son isn’t sick and needs to be picked up from school!” She said as she was just making up a lie because she decided that beside defense was the keep any tricks up her sleeve hidden. She wasn’t stupid, irrational sometimes yes, but not stupid.

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Tony waited patiently, kind of rolling his eyes when the woman picked up the phone while in the middle of doing something. However he waited while making himself a drink. 8AM and he was already drinking, though it wasn’t uncommon for him to do when he was just being lazy and sitting around, or when he was looking into data for one of his inventions.

He was reading over the file Jarvis had pulled up and sighed a little as he shook his head. “Well Caia, I’m Tony Stark, and I would like to know why your standing outside my tower.” He said simply as he put the glass up to his lips and took a sip of the alcohol. He would leave it at one glass for now, but later he would have more. People called him an alcoholic because he drank this early from time to time.

He sat down on the couch once more and looked over the screen. “Does SHIELD have a particular interest in Stark Tower?” He asked raising an eyebrow as he figured he would put all his questions out in the table. He hadn’t dealt much with SHIELD, but still he knew about them and he kept up on some of their recent missions, trying to keep an eye on what they were doing. After all, they were all humans, as were the Avengers for the most part, but they didn’t have anything other than guns and such to protect them. So, he kept an eye on their doings, for now.

"Is that so?" Loki laughed at her statement. It was evident that to him this was nothing more than a way to brighten his dull morning. "So far, I have just seen you bark and not bite. Hence, I would say your mouth is my only problem," he mocked her with one of his arrogant smiles. It was the one that his brother had always driven up the walls. After all, his smile never meant something good for the recipient. Loki kept the protection spell working, but apparently, she was nowhere near to attack him anytime soon.

Loki was unaware that she would even be able to hurt him if he wouldn't use his protection spell. It wasn't normal for Midgard to use magic in general. They preferred explaining everything they saw or call it fantasy. To Loki, it was just ridiculous how everyone tried to find a solution and an explanation. The pure thought made him roll his eyes.

"Picked up from school in the morning?" he called out her lie. Loki might not be too familiar with the Midgardian school system, but even he knew that her statement was utter bullshit.

His tattoo was shining brightly by now because Loki hadn't realized who was standing in front of him. The last three letters of sorry were sticking out of the collar of his black button-up shirt. Katana could notice it, but his protection spell concealed the white light.

If she had held her phone, she probably would've dropped it once the other person revealed to be Tony Stark. She blinked perplex and stopped running. "What?" she asked flabbergasted and frowned. How would that man get her phone number? Caia shook her head and rubbed the back of her neck. Only her surprise made her reply to his statement "I...Well, this is a free country I'm allowed to look at random sky scarpers, ain't I?"
It usually wasn't like her to reply to statements with sass but why would a stranger call her to ask that?

"I-I don't know if SHIELD has interest in your tower, Mister Stark," she replied honestly still confused about what was happening. It was too early in the morning for Caia to realize that the phone call had something to do with her lingering around that building.
"Why would I know that anyway?" she asked him and sighed a little. If Tony read through the file correctly, he would realize that Caia wasn't a typical SHIELD agent. She wasn't part of the field work and only had a simple and small office, where she held therapy session with field agents. So she would know very little about Fury's plans. Caia hadn't even met him. Agent Hill had been the one to headhunt her from the MI6.

Slowly she resumed her run back home. She was already running late for work, now, and she had gotten over her initial shock of talking to Tony.

"A kick in the balls would change your attitude." Katana said as she looked at him and raised an eyebrow. She could do that, and honestly that would be the least damage she could do, because the pepper spray idea would have stung his eyes, but a kick in the nuts would probably get that dumb ass grin off his face. Oh how she wanted to punch him right now, but her aunt taught her better than to mess with someone when she didn't know what they were capable of, when she didn't know if they had powers themselves or not.

"As for my son... he's sick, I'm picking him up from school to take him home so he can rest." She said as she was going to keep that one going, she had a million and one defenses for it after all, but seriously his smile just made her want to kick him in the nuts, see how he liked being toyed with. Again though, she knew better than to do such a thing without knowing a thing about him.

She angled her eyes down as she noticed a tattoo on his arm, "nice tattoo, what does it say?" She asked raising an eyebrow. This guy was becoming more and more curious by the minute, though she still had that smile etched into her brain.

She had a tattoo on her back, with the words Next time you should look at where you walk. It was glowing as well, but it was a little less noticeable because it was on her right shoulder blade. So, it was kind of hidden under her shirt as well as her jacket, but the light could still be seen, slightly.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tony sat there waiting for her response and chuckled a little bit, "might be a free country, but this is private property and it does extend a bit out. Well, not many people stare at the tower unless they want something, and the last person to want something from this tower... well he got into a lot of trouble." He said, obviously referring to Loki, who had tried to destroy the tower as well as New York and ended up getting beat up by the Hulk, Bruce Banner.

"Well Caia, you could do some explaining to me? I mean, there's still a lot that is curious about you." He said as he took a sip from his alcohol and sighed a little bit as he shook his head. He wasn't really paying attention to the file infront of him, though he knew he probably should. There was that irrational side of him screaming that something was up, that there was something deeper and that she might be lying to him. After all, he did suffer from PTSD after everything and trying to get over that was harder than he had thought it would be. He shook his head as he tried to push the thought from his head, trying to avoid his own thoughts if he could.

He typically threw himself into his data and work in order to ignore all the nagging thoughts that were at the back of his head, or at the thoughts that plagued him at night. If he was being honest the reason he often didn't sleep much at night was because he was plagued with nightmares.

"Still all I see is barking and no biting," he chuckled and shook his head a little. This discussion was almost like he was talking to Thor. Constantly turning in circles and it led nowhere. It was one of the reasons why he just stopped talking to him. Besides, he hated being compared to the stupid oaf. So he ignored everything that tight him to Thor and Asgard.

Loki sighed and nodded. He could tell by the way she was looking at him that she was lying. It made him get even more bored with the whole situation. He rolled his eyes and simply stated "Suit yourself. But you should lie better if you want to fool me." He wasn't called the God of Lies for nothing, after all. It was getting old to him and he yawned demonstratively. That was when he chose it was time to change the street.

He was about to set his foot forward when he complimented her on his tattoo. It wasn't really a tattoo but something he had been born with. Asgardians called it birthmarks because one didn't get it voluntarily. He looked down at it and frowned as he saw the delicate word glowing. His eyes went wide in realization as he stared at her all of a sudden. Usually, he would've never shared it with a stranger, but Frigga had talked to him about when it was time to be nice when he would meet his soul mate.
"It says sorry. I assume you have one of those as well?" Loki removed his shirt and the protection spell so she could see it properly. If Loki weren't mistaken, she would recognize her own handwriting.

"Can't blame them for not wanting to stare at it," she murmured under her breath and just hoped that Stark wouldn't hear her. She wasn't fond of the building as well. But still, that strange feeling had made her stop. There was no explanation though that would make her feel and look like less of a freak. So she chose not to reply to that at all.
"In that case, I'm probably lucky, because I do not intend on getting anything from your tower, Mister Stark," she scoffed at him. The reference to Loki though wasn't undetected by her. She hated it, but there was nothing she could do about it. "Last time I checked I wasn't a criminal from outer space, so you should be fine," she added just for good measure. The last thing she needed was Stark or any of the newly-formed Avengers on her back.

"What do you want to know?" she merely asked him back as she was not in the mood to reveal any of her life to him. It was none of the man's business. Caia waited patiently for him to say something so she might answer whatever question he had about her. "But before you get to ask, it's me first: How did you get my number? I'm pretty sure that's against the law as well, if glancing at your Tower is one, too." she pointed out. Him just getting her phone number out of thin air was kind of creepy. Surely it was trespassing her privacy of some sorts.

Katana looked at him, ignoring his remark about her lie and rolling her eyes a little. Yes, she had to get better at lying, her sister was so much better at it, but then again her sister would weave truths into lies in order to make them more believable. She looked at the mark again and raised an eyebrow before nodding her head, "ya it's on my right shoulder blade." She admitted as she pulled her jacket off and placed it between her legs before pulling the back of her shirt down, revealing her own mark.

"According to my aunt I've had it there since birth... some superstition or something like that." She admitted as she pulled her shirt back up and put her jacket back on. Of course she recognized her own hand writing and that's what made it even more curious. She had never seen the writing on the back of her because she had never cared to look at her back. She knew it was there, and she knew that it hadn't faded and it hadn't ever done anything before today.

After all, she had noticed when she moved her shirt and everything that the mark was glowing, but she didn't know anything about what it meant, anything about why it had been there and why it was words. "How long have you had yours?" She asked curiously as she looked at him and watched him carefully. There was something weird going on here, something out of place in her mind. She didn't understand how he had her hand writing on his arm, and it was very obviously her own hand writing. She could tell by the W, which she wrote very weirdly, had her entire life and everyone complained about it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tony kind of nodded his head for a moment before remembering that Caia wasn't right infront of him, so she couldn't see him nodding his head to her remark about not being an alien from space. "Well, I'm pretty sure that if you were then there would be an issue. Anyway, on to how I got your number. All Jarvis needs is a good picture of someone before he can look into records. All he does is basically run it against every database in the world and finds a number, address, anything on the person. Since the picture is so pristine on our video camera, the system is 99.99% accurate, since I can't say 100%." He said as you could never say 100%, even if you hadn't had an error with the piece of technology, because there was still always a chance that it would get it wrong, especially with AIs.

"I'm looking for any kind of information, like how you got employed by SHIELD... who recruited you?" He asked curiously as he had heard that it was more of a recruitment process than how the Avenger's formed. They all kind of just found a common enemy and then they went after it and that was that, they considered themselves a team. Though, Thor often times didn't come along with them because he had other obligations back on Asgard. "You can ask questions too, but I assume that working for SHIELD you probably already know what you need to know about me."

Loki frowned over the way the tattoo was lit up. He stared at it mesmerized once he recognized his own writing. "How...?" he murmured and frowned a little. It appeared like his mother had been right all along. Frigga had told him about those and what it symbolized. He stared at it for a bit and frowned a little. "My mother...she," he began and thought about how to phrase it. She had mentioned how she knew that Odin was right for her. It was odd to him that Midgardians didn't know about this. He turned to his own tattoo that stared at him brightly.
"Where I grew up it is believed that those tattoos symbolize the being we are supposed to be with. My mother explained to me that those words are the ones you share with your soulmate for the very first time. They light up like ours, if you have met the right person. To remind the worst fool that you have met your significant other," he explained to her and tilted his head to the side.

It was odd to think that his soulmate was on Midgard of all realms. Loki had searched for her for a very long time. So this was odd. He was just happy that she hadn't died during the battle of New York. He had heard of tattoos that vanished if you hadn't met your soulmate in time. It was sad to think like that but Loki had been sure that it would be his fate eventually.

"I do not know how long," he replied honestly. Little had he known that his soulmate hadn't been born when he was. He had searched for centuries for her. Loki looked at his tattoo a last time before pulling his shirt on properly again. "I was...My childhood hadn't been like everyone else's," he chose the words wisely instead of revealing that he had been taken as a war trophy when he was still an infant. "But I always remember it being on my skin," he told her truthfully.

Caia simply raised her eyebrow as Tony explained her how she got on Stark's radar. Actually that was pretty damn creepy and she made a mental note to both change her phone number and stay away from the Stark Tower in the future. "And I'm pretty sure that's illegal," she replied serious and added "But if it makes you feel better, I'm going to stay away from that building in the future." She hadn't wanted to stay there to begin with. Caia assumed that Tony had been the one to feel so tired and excited about something that was happening. Her natural instinct had been to offer her help but she assumed that Tony wouldn't even accept it and...well, after this call she felt no need to help that creep. In all honesty, who searched for phone numbers that way?

"How about this? I mean I know it sounds crazy but I was good at my job and SHIELD thought: Hmm...why not ask her to join us? Sounds bizarre. I know," she mocked his curiosity. Usually she wouldn't react like that. Due to her job, Caia had a really patient nature because people always tended to try to distract her instead of getting to the point. She huffed and stopped running to catch her breath. She leaned forward and placed her hands on her knees.

"Mister Stark, I do not look into other people's files unless I'm asked to do so. I am not a field agent but a therapist for those who get wounded on the battlefield. I help people who don't feel comfortable around their families anymore, things like that. So, no, unless you feel the need to get some therapy sessions with me, I will not look into your file. I don't even have that kind of security rating," she explained patiently like it was the most normal thing to do. Her patients were paranoid from time to time, so that was normal for her. "As to how I got employed. Someone headhunted me, and I thought I could help more people when I would join SHIELD. If you have more questions about my recruiting, I'm pretty sure that you are either able to read my SHIELD file, which you might have dug up by now, or ask Director Fury about the recruiting," she quietly replied with a sigh and looked back over her shoulder at the Stark Tower. She shook her head over how surreal this was.

Katana sighed as she looked at Loki and shrugged her shoulders a little bit. "All I know about this is that I've had this since 1994, when I was born." She said as she really didn't much believe in fairy tales. After all, she didn't believe in the entire damsel in distress bullshit and the need for her to be with any person to be with. "Anyway, I don't believe in that shit." She said with a shrug of her shoulders as she looked at him. She really didn't and she wasn't even going to lie about it, because she felt no need to lie about it. "So, sorry, but I am not who ever the heck you seem to think your looking for, I'm just a girl trying to get out of her apartment to the store so she can clean said apartment." She said with a shrug of her shoulders as she held her purse on her shoulder.

She really just wanted to get her errands done before her sister got home or else then they would get distracted and it would never get done. "Anyway, I don't care to learn about your childhood, you think you had it bad, you can't even imagine what my sister and I have been through." She said rolling her eyes as she now was done with this conversation.

She didn't know why she had sat and talked with this guy for so long, but now she was done with this conversation and now she was going to try and get by him. So, she did exactly that as she moved herself over and tried to squeeze by him. "See ya never," she said as she started walking away. She wasn't one for believing superstitions or anything, wasn't one for believing that she would ever get married, not even one for believing that she was going to meet someone one day. So her this was all just some stupid thing that people believed to make themselves feel better about liking someone.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tony kind of rolled his eyes at the attitude she was giving him, seeing that this was probably a mistake and now he was starting to not care about the conversation. He at some point stopped listening to her, probably a result of his PTSD if he was being honest. After all, he wasn't one to lose interest in a girl, he usually liked the game hard to get. However, today he found that he didn't much care for it and honestly didn't want to deal with an attitude. What was he, a baby sitter? No, he wasn't going to babysit anyone and that was what. So, he decided to end the conversation, quiet abruptly if he thought any deeper about it, probably also mocking her a little bit.

"Awww, I'm so sorry, much be hard being a therapist. Anyway, see ya." He said before hanging up, "Jarvis, erase everything on her." He said as he got up from the couch and finishing his alcoholic beverage. He soon put it in the sink and decided on cleaning it himself, which was an odd occurrence since he usually would just dump it in the sink and leave it for one of the other robots to deal with.

As he went back to the office he had basically spent all night it he put his phone on silent. He then sat down at the desk where all the new data was and picked up the papers with the data on it. Sure he had a digital copy, but due to his PTSD he didn't trust the computer to keep it 100% safe anymore. So, he would print out the data and keep it at that. However, he did keep the data in the database, but it had several firewalls. He had been improving that since developing PTSD, making sure that everything was secure and that no one was getting into his files.

Loki nodded and acknowledged that part of information. It was the first time in forever that he wished he could simply contact Frigga from Midgard. Maybe he would even do so, but it would cost him a lot of energy if he went through with that spell.
The God of Mischief opened his mouth to reply to her. But it was no avail as she snapped at him. Under usual circumstances, he would've taught that woman a lesson. But the knowledge that she might be his soulmate stopped him from doing so. "So, you do not wish to pick up your imaginary child from school?" he asked her with a grin. Loki was smug that she had finally blown her own cover. He prided himself on being able always to tell when someone lied to him.

It was almost funny how she told him more and more about herself without her even realizing it. In a way, his silver tongue was still working even when he got on people's nerves. So he simply said nothing for once but stepped aside as she tried to squeeze past him.

At her goodbye Loki just rolled his eyes, she apparently didn't know who she had been talking to. "I'm afraid we will see each other sooner than you believe," he told her and watched her leave to continue her day. That was when he finally hurried over the street to get back to his loft. He had some things to do and some research on this whole soulmate business to do until he would coincidentally bump into her again.

Jarvis tried to keep an eye out for Tony as he did as Tony told him. He deleted the Miss Armas's contact and watched the billionaire's vitals. "May I suggest that you go to bed, Sir?" the AI mentioned and added, "You have been awake for more than 24 hours. Studies show that it is not healthy to stay awake this long."

Caia rolled her eyes as the genius suddenly hung up. It had been him calling her and asking all those questions after all.
"Fucking asshole," she grumbled and shook her head. It was one more reason just to ignore the man and go back to her usual daily routine and to change her phone number. She didn't want one more of those awkward calls. Lecturing her about standing on a pavement in front of his tower, who did he think he was? Caia rolled her eyes and ran the rest of the way home, trying to get rid of the annoyance that had come with his call. He probably had thought she was some fangirl; he could easily lure into his bed. Well, Stark had assumed wrong. In fact, if this call proved anything, then it would be that he was just like all those articles made him be.

She shook the thought off and took a quick shower before hurrying to her work. Somehow she miraculously made it only half an hour late to her actual shift. She apologized profoundly and went on about her day. Strangely enough, Stark kept on being on Caia's mind despite him being an extreme annoyance to her. She suspected said annoyance to be the cause of her thoughts revolving around him. With a huff, the young woman grabbed her phone eventually as one of her patients left her office, and Athena deleted Stark's call. It wasn't like she could call him back anyway, he had called her incognito after all.

Katana didn't waste her time, just giving him the middle finger before turning the corner to continue on with her day. She sighed as she shook her head and held onto her purse as she entered a local bakery and ordered herself a bagel with cream cheese as well as a large hot tea. Once that was done and paid for she sat down and ate it while looking at the phone to see if her sister was out of clinical yet. After all, she kind of didn't want to go home in case the nut job was still there and decided to jump her. While she could defend herself against such an attack, she rather have her sister there. After all, maybe her sister knew something about all of this. So, she dialed the number and sighed as she pressed the phone to her ear.

Patricia had just gotten on break when she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She pulled it out of her scrub pocket and picked up the call and pressed the phone to her ear. "What's up, K?" She asked and Katana breathed a sigh of relief. "Hey P, I just kind of ran into a nut job when I was going out just now." She admitted, "dude was completely nuts... I mean, he actually freaked me the heck out!" She said as it was true that as of right now she was freaked out, because her thoughts were all over the place, her thoughts weren't that coherent.

Patricia was picking at her snack and sighed a little bit, "well go shopping and text me where you are at 11:30 and I'll walk over to you." She said, "that's the best I can do K." She said as she was busy right now, she couldn't just leave clinical, she couldn't give up on her dream. Katana nodded her head carefully and smiled, "alright P, I know how important your work is." She said chuckling, "I'll text you at 11:30." She said before hanging up.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tony sighed as he looked up for a moment and shook his head, "I can't sleep... you know this Jarvis." He said as he looked at the data infront of him. His AI was right about one thing, it wasn't healthy for him to not sleep for 24 hours, and it was obvious that it was starting to effect him. After all, the data was starting to slowly blur together as he was getting tired. However, he didn't want to go back to that place, didn't want to go back into that dream. It was that which kept him from sleeping all the time.

He sighed as he threw the papers down in frustration and shook his head, "maybe a five minute power nap." He said as he got up from the office chair and sighed. "Jarvis, if you could activate the blackout on the windows, that would be great." He said as that was his best option for now. Right now, he needed to lay down and rest a little bit, but he just hoped it wouldn't take him forever in a day to wake up.

It was almost immediate that he laid his head down on his pillow, on his bed, that he fell asleep. His eyes were closed and the sheets weren't even covering his body. He was immediately in the dream, the dream that had been haunting him for so long. This time though he couldn't seem to get himself out. He was usually a pretty lucid dreamer, being able to wake him up from a dream almost immediately if he wanted to. However, his body was so worn out that it wouldn't allow him to wake up from the dream, meaning he had to suffer through it all, had to see the dream through until his body would finally let him awaken from this nightmare.

Loki was soon enough in his loft. One of the perks of coming from another realm and a wizard was that he had quite a lot of money. He knew who to talk to to get him some money. That ended up with him not really having to worry about it anymore. Besides he was still part of the Asgardian Royal family, so he had access to their money as well. Besides, he preferred not to touch it because it would give away where he was to Odin.

After a while, he relaxed enough to conceal both his location and his magic. That was when he tried to project himself in his mother's chambers in hopes Odin wasn't around. But given that the Allfather never showed much interest in Frigga's chambers he doubted it. Taking a few deep breaths, he tried his best.

"Mother," he called out and looked around the familiar golden walls. This had been the only rooms, Loki had felt comfortable in his childhood. Despite his shenanigans with Thor, he had always felt more comfortable with his adoptive mother.
"Loki, thank the gods that you are alright," she spoke almost immediately and reached out to her son to pull him into a hug. But her hands grasped thin air. She frowned and looked at him. "Where are you?" she asks and adds "We miss you greatly, love!"
Loki ignores her questions and statement. "Do you miss me? I doubt that Odin or Thor have even recognized my disappearance," he spoke. Loki was still hurt by everything that had happened to him. He shook the feeling off and turned to his mother. "I don't have much time-" he explained pointedly "-Do you remember those legends you told Thor and me about our tattoos? I think I found the girl who wears my missing piece, Mother. Are they true or is it just a story you tell your children to bed?"

Frigga smiled affectionate at her son, and even though she wouldn't be able to touch him, she placed her hand on his cheek. "All of it is true, Loki. I know you don't want to believe me. But don't mess this one up. Whoever she is, she belongs with you," Frigga said and sighed as her son all of the sudden vanishes in front of her.

Thankfully it was lunch break eventually, and Caia went out to get herself a salad from a supermarket nearby. She didn't feel like eating much because it was too hot to do so. At least for her, if the weather was too warm, she usually couldn't eat much. With a sigh, she chose a Ceasar salad from the fridge and a bun to eat with. Caia stood in line at the cashout and grumbled as someone skipped the line in front of her. It really didn't seem to be her day. First that awkward "encounter" with Stark and now, this. If she hadn't been too late to work this morning, she would've considered going home early.

Just as she was back at her office and about to open the packaging of her packed salad one of her more difficult patients just stumbled in. She stared at the man for a quick moment before agreeing to squeeze in a therapy session in her lunch break. She smiled professionally and puts on a good face on the matter, but inside she was fuming. Caia helped him through the episode the guy was having and only ended up with a 10 minutes lunch break before her next client would stop by. "I'm being paid too bad for that shit," she grumbles to herself and fishes her smartphone out of a drawer at her desk.

Hey, how are you? You will never guess what happened to me this morning during my run... -.-

I stopped by that ugly Stark Tower and lingered a little around while having breakfast. Now, guess who dared to hack my phone and call me!

Katana has talked to her sister while she ate on her fifteen minute break, but the minute she had to go back they said their goodbyes and how they would see each other at about 11:30 or noon. It was a bit hard for Katana to be left alone for that long, but she knew she had to tough it out and just hope she didn’t run into that creep again. So, she finished up her breakfast and departed the bakery to go out and get what she had come out for and then to just look around other stores.

Lunch time was soon upon the world and Katana was growing hungry again, wanting a small lunch. Nothing big, probably just a granola bar or something would suffice. After all, she had only eaten hours before then, when she called her sister. So, a small snack wouldn’t do anything to hurt her. As she pulled a granola bar out of her pocket she heard her phone buzz.

She was going to leave it be, until it buzzed again and she sighed as she pulled the phone out and read over the texts. It was just her friend Caia, who she could have left alone, but she was kind of curious to hear what she had to say, as well as share the events that transpired that morning. The entire stranger thing and such.

She had to giggle a little as she sat down on a bench in the mall and read over the text messages before formulating her own response. She did enjoy her friend, even if sometimes she didn’t care about much. There were three people in this world that she cared about, Caia, her aunt, and her sister.

Let me guess, Stark? Well my morning was interesting. I was going to clean my apartment and found we were out of supplies... well I got out to the street and bumped into this asshole. He was all mouthy and shit, it pissed me off. He was a completely nut job! The freakiest thing was he had this tattoo in my handwriting. It couldn’t have been anyone else’s because the Y was written the same way I write it.

Caia ate her salad as she enjoyed the moment of silence. It was the first time she had a moment to herself since getting up this morning. She even started to google for a number she would be able to call to get a new phone number. The mere thought of having Stark snoop around in her smartphone was creepy. Little did she know that changing her phone number wouldn't do much if Tony really wanted to find things out. She was just terribly educated when it came to technology. To her, it was enough to know how to use a computer and her phone. She wouldn't want to program an app or one of Stark's AIs.

The worst part of all of this was that he never really left her mind. Usually, she would've just shrugged it off and called it a day but the fact that Stark had just hung up like that, after asking her all those questions, was ridiculous. Caia rolled her eyes and called her phone provider asking how much it would cost her to change her phone number. Soon enough she had everything fixed, and she looked at her phone again. It was just in time to see Katana texting back.

Caia was glad to have her here in New York. All of her friends were living in London, so she had no one here. It had been the scariest part of moving to a new country. But thankfully she had never looked back and regretted the decision of immigrating. That was so far.

Really? That's kinda odd? You sure that you haven't met him before? I mean where else would he get a tattoo in your handwriting from? Though... My dad always used to tell me all sorts of stories about that sentence I have on my hand. He told me I would know I met the one I would spend the rest of my life with if that sentence lit up.

And yes, it was Stark. It was totally creepy. He told me someone called Jarvis was able to dig up all sorts of information by just having my picture. Now, that asshole has both my number and picture. I'm actually considering getting a new phone number because of that shit.

Speaking of shit...Do you want to get hammered tonight? I'm having kind of a bad day and could use some distraction.

Katana spent the time waiting eating her her granola bar as well as waiting for her sister to give her a call. After all it was nearing 11:30 and she knew her sister should call at any moment now. She was sitting there eating her granola bar and kind of scrolling through her phone, waiting for Caia to respond to her. Of course her phone soon did ring and it was her sister who was calling her. So, she immediately picked up the phone and pressed it to her ear. "Hey P," she said smiling happily as she waited for her.

Patricia chuckled a little and shook her head, "alright where are you?" She asked as she waved to her co-workers as she made her way out of the hospital. "I have some errands to run, and you'll have to come with me unless you think you can walk back to the apartment alone." She said as she got onto the street and started walking down it.

Katana shook her head, "I'll come with you, I'm at the mall right now." She admitted and sighed a little bit, "Patricia, how did you know Sam was your soulmate?" She asked curiously as she figured she would get some answers from her.

Patricia paused for a minute before resuming her walk and sighing a little bit. "Call me crazy, but I had a tattoo under my... and don't be grossed out, under my right breast. Sam saw it and it was in his handwriting. Obviously he didn't see it until much later, but he also had a tattoo under that anti-possession tattoo of his. It was what I said to him the first time we met. That's how I knew he was my soulmate." She admitted, "why do you ask, K?" She asked curiously.

Katana took a minute to absorb what Patricia was saying and that just confused her even more. "It's nothing... I just... I was curious." She whispered as she looked down. "Alright, well I'll see you in five or so minutes." She said before hanging up her phone and sighing a little bit.

Probably deleted it if we're being honest. There's nothing interesting about you :P. Anyway, that is completely messed up that someone would want to get all that information on one person just because they stopped in front of a damn tower. Anyway, it doesn't matter because I think drinks tonight would be great... let me ask P if she wants to come along too. As for if I've met the nut job before, no I know I haven't met him before. Never seen him in my entire life. You and Patricia said the same thing though about this legend thing... Patricia said when she met her husband she realized he was the one because of a tattoo she had that glowed. Her husband happened to have a tattoo and they realized it was what they said to each other the first time they ever talked.

Caia placed her phone away for a bit to eat the rest of her salad. Just as she threw away the packaging, her next patient of the day told her about his day. She felt sorry for doing this, but her mind was occupied with other things. So she merely nodded and gave noncommittal answers or questions like "how do you feel about this?" or "What kind of reaction causes that in you?" Those basic questions had never helped her, and she had started to call them nonsense for a very long time now. So she never used them unless she didn't plan to be too involved. Today, just wasn't her day and she hoped it would be over soon. Thankfully the guy would be her last patient for the day. So maybe she could get some paperwork done before she clocked out.

She reached for her phone and tapped the screen to find out if Katana had replied. With a grin, she took her phone and went back to the texts. One of the perks of having your own office was that no one noticed if you chose personal things over work. So she leaned back in her chair and typed away.

Oh how sweet of you. Apparently, I was interested enough to dig up my SHIELD file. But sheesh, thanks for the compliment. :lennyslash: (detect my sarcasm here) Besides there's plenty of exciting things about me: like my marvelous British accent!

Well, remember that Irish Pub I dragged you to the last time? Wanna go there? Reminds me of home and I felt a little homesick lately. o.O Oh and on another note, sucks when you're soulmate is a, doesn't it? Serves you right for mocking me about that goddamn Stark thing!

Katana decided to not text back after that, as Patricia soon came to the mall and stood infront of her sister and smiled happily. "Come on sweetie!" She said chuckling as she grabbed her hand and Katana laughed as she shook her head as she linked arms with her sister and held onto her. "Clinical went great today, really great! I enjoyed it very much and my patients were really kind. I'm glad they were so calm today because there are some days where they can be so wound up." She admitted as they started walking.

Katana chuckled as she shook her head and looked at her sister, "great... other than the freak this morning my day was pretty uneventful." She said smiling before nodding, "how about we go to the bar tonight with Caia?" She asked and Patricia looked at her sister, "K... you know I can't." She whispered and Katana sighed, "you can be the DD... have you told Sam yet?" She asked curiously and Patricia nodded her head. "He's so excited," she said laughing and Katana chuckled. "Of course he is, after all it's your next big step." She said and Patricia nodded her head, "fine I will come today, but I'm not doing anything, I'm just DD." She said as she looked at her sister who nodded her head. "Yes ma'am," she said chuckling.

The day seemed to pass by relatively uneventfully, and soon night time came and Patricia and Katana were heading down to the car, with the car. After all, Katana got a little weird and couldn't walk when she was really drunk. Patricia pulled up to the bar and sighed a little, "Caia meeting us here?" She asked curiously and Katana nodded her head carefully. "Yup, I texted her to walk down." She said smiling softly.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tony had woken up around sometime late afternoon, probably about 4 or 5PM. When he woke up he made himself something to eat and did a bit of a workout. Of course after all that was done he had gone back to his data, trying to put it all together finally. He couldn't focus on this because it was just too much data to go through, too much data to focus on by himself. Maybe he should call Bruce Banner over? After all, they were both pretty smart men and could really easily figure out if the data was good or not, if there was anything to worry about with Tony's new project. After all, he didn't usually spend his time looking over his own data.

That was when he decided it was in his best interest to call Bruce Banner over. After all, it wasn't a bad idea to have an extra pair of eyes to look over the data. While Tony could do such a thing quicker himself, he found that he was kind of slowing down at this point and it was either the lack of sleep or the fact that he just had looked over the information way too much. He waited patiently as the phone rang and he sighed a little bit as he leaned down in his chair.

Around 6 pm, Caia was finally finished with work. She tried to avoid her boss to be able to leave. The guy had been in a bad mood, so it was smarter to just try to hide from him. Finally, she was out of the SHIELD building and was on her way back to the small apartment she was living in. It was only one room, which thankfully had a separate kitchen, so it didn't continuously smell like food in her room. It was annoying to her. She hated the smell of food if she wanted to go to bed. The problem was that she lived on the main road, so the fresh air just smelled like exhaust, and it was deafening from the noises of the cars.

Taking a shower, she changed into more casual clothing. For once she even decided to wear a dress. After all, it was easier to get free drinks for guys if you dressed up and showed a little cleavage. For once, Caia intended to at least try to get some guys to pay for her stuff instead of being the spoilsport of the whole group. So she took on her red high heels and left her apartment with a red clutch. She felt so overdressed for a pub, but somehow a pub seemed to be nothing else than a bar to the Americans, which was nonsense to Caia.

Soon enough she arrived at the Irish Pub with a grin and pulled out her phone to see if the two girls were already here. Grinning, she walked inside and scanned the small crowd. "There you are," she called out and walked over to them happy. She stretched her arms out and hugged the two of them. "You two look lovely," she complimented them instantly and added, "How are you two, tonight?" Caia smiled at them happily and slipped into the chair near them.

Loki looks around and frowns. He had done some research on the tattoos. His mother was probably right that he should be careful about it and allow fate to have its way. Still, he knew better than to just sit around. Luck never had been in his favor after all. Usually, he got fucked over by life over and over again. He walked out of his loft and around in New York to clear his head. Loki sighed and looked around for a second. He walked along the streets and watched the Midgardians do their frequent social interactions at night. It was these moments it actually reminded him that they weren't so different to Asgardians.

Stil his walk did little to remove his encounter with this woman earlier the day. He wondered how things might have gone if he had been kinder to her. Would she have trusted his words or called him an idiot anyway? He thought about it for a bit before he tried to shake it off.

Katana and Patricia kind of spent some time hanging out outside the bar because they knew once they got inside they would struggle to be freed from its clutches. Patricia sighed a little bit as she looked at her sister, “little miss is not enjoying this.” She stated and Katana looked at her and chuckled a little bit, “well little miss isn’t bigger than a fucking pea. She wants to cause problems she’s going to have to deal with me.” She said and Patricia kind of laughed as she listened to her sister. “Don’t threaten my baby!” She said shoving her a little bit and giggling.

Katana chuckled as she was happy for her sister, because she had wanted a family for as long as she could remember and finally she was getting it, and thankfully she was only a few weeks away from graduating and taking her NCLEX exam. “What you going to tel Caia when she asks why you aren’t drinking?” She asked curiously and Patricia looked up from her phone and sighed, “well I’m certainly not going to lie... I can’t drink.” She said and Katana chuckled as she shook her head, “I know you can’t.” She sang.

Soon Caia made an appearance and they all hugged and Katana smiled a little bit, “I’ve been spending the entire day with P.” She admitted as she looked at Patricia who kind of chuckled. “Aww K, your so nice.” She teased and then looked at Cai, “shall we go in?” She asked as she was excited for a nice girls night out.

Tony would be lying if he didn’t say he was annoyed when Bruce didn’t pick up his lhone, but he decided that maybe it was time for a break. Maybe it was time that he went out and did something for the night. He sighed as he got off the couch and went looking for something decent to wear instead of a shirt and his sweats. He settled on something kind of formal, with pants and a button up shirt, minus a tie and the over coat. He then put his jacket on and headed down from the tower. He called the elevator as he didn’t want to make a show, after all it was better if no one knew he was here. Though he knew people would find out, but they didn’t need to know that Iron Man was also here.

Once he reached the bottom floor he cursed as he forgot to ask Jarvis to pull his car around. He shook his head as he decided it wasn’t too bad of a night to walk. He just didn’t want to have to stumble too far from a bar or something. He knew of just the place to go, this nice bar that was relatively close to Avenger Tower. So, he put his hands in the pocket of his jacket and started his slow walk towards the bar.

Caia looked at the two girls with a smile. She felt like the women knew something they hadn't wanted to talk to her about. But it wasn't a big deal since she was used to that kind of atmosphere around them. The twins just were really close, and it sometimes resulted in her feeling like she was third wheeling. Yet she mostly didn't know as it gave her a little time to adjust to big crowds like right now. There were already drunken people, giving off a sleepy but happy vibe, as well as annoyed people, who might have been turned down by their flirt, or simply people, who tried to enjoy their time. It was odd to try and shut everything out. So she would be able to focus on Katana and Patricia.
"That's great," she merely murmured as she tried her best to get used to the current situation. Caia looked around but soon enough found it easier to smile again.

"Yes, let's go inside," Caia agreed with an excited smile. "Actually after today's shitty day, I'm looking forward to getting drunk tonight," she announced seriously. Usually, Caia wasn't want to get smashed drunk, but sometimes she just wanted to loosen up a little. She walked inside with the two and looked around "How about you two find a table for us and I'll get some drinks? What do you ladies want?" She looked at them curiously and smiled gently at them as she would just get a beer for now. So, that much about getting incredibly drunk.

What Loki had started to love about Midgard was all this cultural diversity. It wasn't as boring as he remembered Asgard to be. Unlike most Asgardian, Loki had always loved traveling and tried to find a way out. He blamed it on being different than most. But he realized it was because even as an infant he had known there was more to the realms than just what they knew. So he had tried searching for portals to different worlds. What fascinated him about Midgard was that one didn't have to travel a lot to actually get somewhere new and refreshing.

Tonight, he was out and about again. He didn't even know how he ended up near the Stark Tower because usually, he avoided it like the plague. But something was pulling him towards a small buzzing location. It was one of the places he loved so much because they looked and felt different than the rest of the Big Apple. Loki walked into the pub and looked around at the Midgardians, who were there for a good night. His glance though landed on the same girl who had his writing tattooed on her skin. It was odd because he felt appalled to talk to her. Still, he stayed away to watch her from afar a little. Loki had no idea that it might make things even more uncomfortable between the two of them.

Katana looked to Patricia for a moment while Caia talked. They never meant to make their friend feel like a third wheel, quiet the opposite if they were being honest. They always felt as if they included her often enough, though of course Patricia wouldn’t be in New York much longer. Once Patricia was finished with school she would return to Kansas to be with her husband, leaving Katana in New York because she had a job promised to her in one of the schools.

Katana laughed hearing Caia’s comment about getting shit faced, and while she herself wouldn’t, she wasn’t one to tell her friend what to do. She sighed happily as she walked into the bar, which was packed with people, but not as many as usual. They seemed to find a seat without a problem, probably because of how slow it actually was. Katana smiled as she looked to Caia and thought for a moment, “get me a bottle of white wine to start.” She said as she was more of a wine drinker, than anything else. She then looked to Patricia who just smiled a little bit. “If you could get me a water, that’s all.” She said as that was all she could drink. Other than that, she wasn’t much of a drinker and being pregnant gave her even more reason not to drink.

Tony sighed a little bit as he approached the nearby bar. It was usually pretty crowded and with all the drunk people, none of them really ever recognized him as Tony Stark. Most just passed him off as another person drinking their problems away. Most these people were just doing it for fun, but Tony was doing it all to forget about everything. He didn’t want to remember anything anymore, and honestly he had no problem if he started to forget things.

He slowly pulled the door open and sighed a little bit as he went to the bar and sat down at it, keeping his sunglasses on. Sure, only douche bags wore their sunglasses inside, but no one in a bar was going to question it. So, as he took a seat at the bar he quietly ordered himself a whiskey, which soon arrived. He sighed as he grabbed the glass and put the rim to his lips and took a sip out of the cup. He looked around the room for a little bit, and cursed a little seeing the girl from earlier. “Great, now she’ll think I’m stalking her boring ass.” He said to himself as he didn’t know why he said she was boring, it was quiet the opposite, but it was probably a defense mechanism to protect himself from getting hurt, that would explain all the booze and girls.
