Futuristic Bedlam - Mechanics

Deadkool

A Sad Remnant of a Forgotten Time

Skill Checks will be divided into 3 of the following categories:

Aim

Brawn

Brain

For example, a large mutant is standing twenty feet away and you'd like to shoot at him, roll a d20 for aim.

Each point you put into a category gives you a +1 to that category. You have 5 points to assign.

Ex.

Aim: 2

Roll: 16 (+2)

Meanwhile, your class helps with different class checks and in addition, gives you a permanent bonus to one or more categories

Classes:

The Gunslinger:

A powerful opponent in the lands of Bedlam, known to be roaming sheriffs patrolling the boomtowns or mercenaries assigned with the task of serving Viscera with deadly efficiency. The Gunslinger is quick, agile, and powerful.

(+2 to Aim)

The Alchemist:

Practitioners of Black Science. They may be persecuted for following the very studies that nearly led humanity to extinction, but none can deny the results one can achieve with a few Alchemists in their back pocket.

(+2 to Brain)

The Berserker:

Crazy and Wild, berserker will mow down anything in their path to achieve their goal. Some live for the suffering they inflict while others simply use their incredibly muscle-y talents as a means to an end. Useful for a bar fight.

(+2 to Brawn)

The Deadeye

Powerful and Dangerous, deadeyes are one man armies in the land of Bedlam. When a situation can be overcome with brute force, a situation can be overcome with good deadeyes. Often seeing the landscape for what can be rather than what is, deadeyes are dangerous adversaries that fight with cunning and tact.

(+1 Brawn +1 Aim)

The Monk:

A state of philosophy really, formed when the Barren Age began. They have spoken with death and understand the truth of the world. They have an adept understanding of human nature and the brutal reality of the wastes. True enlightenment can be found at the edge of a blade.

(+1 Intelligence +1 Brawn)

That's the system, pretty basic.
