Fantasy Battle Academy

AkioTheHero AkioTheHero (The phantoms fled as Jered annihilated Traumatophobia, forcing Hydrophobia to give up his pointless attack. Seeing as everyone managed to hold out, the headmaster gives everyone a free pass on the test. Now he's asking everyone to go to their rooms and have lunch delivered to them, as they'd normally go to the cafeteria but the attack messed with a few things. So you? Probably fighting enemies in the background and then watching as the soldiers start destroying everything.)

Botch had been properly dispatched by the Phobias he had foolishly attempted to defeat on his own. Though he was left helpless by his wounds in the nearby greenery, he praised his great fortunes for the timely arrival of the USG which had prevented the Phobias from following into another assault on Botch. He had recognized the passing form of Rojelio, who was, too, set on dispatching the Phobias, and yet he couldn't muster a call to him and his mind was so rattled by agonizing pain he found it impossible to properly utilize Flagellation to assist him and the same pain had temporarily incapacitated him. He thanked the USG not only for his own life, but also for Rojelio's. He was so ashamed that he was able to avoid the bulk of the attack, due to his soul that emanated the very reek of the Phantoms, and yet he couldn't even use it to his advantage to move in and do away with the very commanders of the attack that only he could approach with so ease, and while he was safe from further attack others were out there fighting for their lives. He couldn't even muster the capacity to be happy that he knew he'd live longer, for the essence of the fallen Phantoms singled in on his locations, granting him more life to exhaust with his usage of Flagellation, as, for as far he was concerned, he felt like death regardless.

As soon as it was announced that they were to pass the test -- by default -- once the Phantoms were dispatched by the USG, Botch would return to the dormitories at his own pace, setting a route distinct from the other students through the greenery that hid him. He would no doubt be the last to return to the dormitory, slowed by the damage he sustained by the Phobias he engaged, and he would enter with no greeting. He silently glided over to his bed and crumpled over the edge of the mattress, muttering to himself the words spoken by Achluophobia that had left him in complete and utter shock.

"Botch, its no use... Go back to our side once more, the boss needs your power... You have no use in this world..." The words had no distinctive meaning to him, and yet they left such a massive impact from which Botch couldn't bring himself to recover, and he didn't understand it. He knew he smelt of the Phantoms, but he was never a Phantom. He had initially thought perhaps Achluophobia had only presumed he was a betrayer by the fact that to other Phantoms, Botch did register as one himself, but he knew that weren't true -- Achluophobia knew his name. "What the Hell is going on...?"

Botch was left in an uncharacteristic stupor; pale in the face, breathing raggedly. He had no idea what was happening to him or what was going on around him anymore. He had no idea, either, why those words left him like such.
