Name : Bahadur Fazan

Age : 20

Race : Human

Height : 5'9"

Body type : Lean and Muscular

Extended Appearance : (Optional for people who had an image. If you have an image but have other things to add that the image may not show, like a scar, add it here.)

Personality : Years on the streets has made him cynical, and it gave him crude, often dark sense of humor. He has little to no faith in anyone else, and he generally only looks out for his own interests. However, if someone continuously shows kindness to him or others, they may slowly gain his loyalty, and he has a soft-spot for children. He's a prideful man who enjoys his freedom. While he may be impulsive at times, he's no fool, and he generally refrains from doing anything too reckless.

Biography : Born to a pair of loving parents, Bahadur's early childhood was a happy, relatively normal one. His parents were traveling merchants, so he traveled with their caravan around what was left of the civilized world. His sister and him always did their best to help sell merchandise. However, that happiness all came to an end when they were traveling across some desert wastes when he was about ten. It was a long, arduous journey, but they soon neared the end of it. The night before they would exit the wasteland, the caravan celebrated. They consumed their extra rations, and the people of the caravan were delighted to know they'd soon be leaving this lifeless place. Little did they know, none of them would be leaving anytime soon. Later that night they were attacked by desert bandits, and Bahadur watched as man after man was slain before his very eyes. Men, women, and children were cut down. No mercy was shown. Bahadur managed to escape, but he only had a flask of water. He traveled for days, but found nothing. Even though he was rationing it, his water eventually ran out. Soon after, he fell into the sand ready to accept his fate. Initially he had hated the desert; it had taken everything from him, but when he lied in the sand then, it was oddly comforting. He closed his eyes; he was ready to become one with the desert and join his family. At that moment his magic awakened, and he passed out. He awoke at an oasis. Unbeknownst to him, he had summoned the water there, and he was found by another group of bandits. These bandits were a far less blood-thirsty group who preferred gold over blood. When he heard the boy's story, the bandit leader took him in. He was impressed by Bahadur's fighting spirit. Bahadur eventually received some training in magic, and he quickly moved up in the ranks of the bandits. His notoriety grew as well. He was eventually captured in a raid gone wrong, and, after a couple of escape attempts, he was sent to the arena.

Powers : Land of the Sand magic

Soil of the Sand: In an area up to about 25 yrd (22.5 m), all the rock and dirt becomes sand. It reverts back after about ten minutes. However, it won’t fix any damage caused by the earth suddenly becoming sand. This gives him the terrain advantage (as he is used to fighting in sand), and it allows him to use some of his other abilities if there is no natural sand. He can choose to only effect a specific rock/ dirt object.

Wind of the Sand: By swinging his arms or an object, Bahadur can fire wind projectiles made of blistering heat. The shape of the projectile depends on the shape of the item swung. He can also cause an area up to about 10 yrd (9m) to be suddenly caught up in dry, hot, and turbulent winds. It causes a sandstorm in areas with sand. Bahadur is also affected by the storm, and he will be quite disoriented himself without his cloths covering his face if he’s caught in it.

Tools of the Sand: Bahadur can shape various weapons and tools from sand. They must be relatively simple objects (no crossbows/ guns), and the sand can become no harder than hardened steel.

Water of the Sand: There are two sides to this skill. One, his touch can absorb water. This allows him to negate most water based attacks, and it allows him quickly dehydrate organisms to the point of death Most desert life is resistant to this ability. The other is that he can summon water from the ground. By sticking anything from his sword to his finger to a stick he found in the ground, Baharun can cause water to rise. He can choose to have it rise in the form of a small pond of clean water, or he can cause the water to merge with the ground creating mud or quicksand in up to about a 10 yrd (9 m) area.

Skills : His criminal background as a bandit has made him very good at pickpocketing, lockpicking, and climbing. It also has made him skilled with a variety of weapons, but he has mastered none. This means, in a fair melee fight, he stands little chance against someone who has mastered their weapon or someone who has magically enhanced themselves. This is why Bahadur is a very dirty fighter; he’ll often throw sand in people’s eyes, and use other similar tactics, to gain an advantage. He is also quite resistant to varying weather conditions as the desert is very hot during the day and very cold at night.
