Tommy had a great life til the Dead came back to life. In Highschool, he was a football star, one of the popular kids in school. When high school came to an end, he was told he was too small to play college ball, and with not so good grades, he opted to the Army. Enlisting at 18, Tommy was an infantry man, through and through. The Army and Tommy were a perfect match, and just after 4 years in was promoted to Sergeant. At 23, Tommy met the woman of his dreams, Kathleen "Kathy" Shoeman, 3 months after the two started dating, they were married. 10 months later, Abby was born, a year later, Abby's brother Erik followed. At 27, nothing could have stopped Tommy, well. Almost nothing.

When the news first came that the dead were coming back to life, Tommy and his Squad mates laughed, thinking it was a joke. A few hours later, when they were pulling their weapons out of the Armory and putting on gas masks, the laughing was over. Stationed at Fort Hood, Tommy's first experience with the Dead was the fall of Dallas, Texas. Once the city was lost, and the retreat was given, he thought it'd be an easy ride back to Fort Hood, back to his family. What should have only taken a few hours, took Tommy a week, by the time he'd reached his home, so had the disease. When Tommy rushed to his house, through his door he was greeted with the sight of two toddlers, covered in blood, eating the corpse of their mother.

Personality

Tommy can best be described as "loose." He's seen more than enough to break a man, and he's far past broken. A very quiet man, its hard to tell what Tommy is always thinking. He seems to take on problems head first without caring about the consequences it might bring onto him. He has no problem volunteering for dangerous missions, or straight up suicide missions, and this is mostly because of the fact that he doesn't care if he dies any more.

He does occasionally talk to himself, and respond, clearly having multiple personalities in his one head.

Bio: Killian comes from a home of old people. Her mother passed away at her birth and her father couldn't care less what happened to her. So of course, her grandma had to take care of her, and her grandma had to move in with her own mother so little Killian could be supported for. Killian is embarrassed when she talks about her family, as she could never have friends over because they would disturb her great grandfather, and they couldn't have pets because her grandfather was allergic to the fur. Her two sets of grandparents were afraid she would be snatched up or murdered if she went outside the house so she was always cooped up in the little old house, not even able to get her drivers license until she was 20 and finally finished her second year at college in radio broadcasting. Her two sets of grandparents didn't approve of her choice of what she wanted to major in along with communications. But of course she won that battle and they paid for her school, too bad she only got two years out of the five she was going to attend.


Personality: Killian is the girl who is quiet and keeps to herself even though she is loud and talkative on the inside. At school she is alert and always taking notes but when her friends are around and no teacher is around, she will chatter their ears off and until they forget how to talk themselves. She enjoys being helpful and tries her best at anything she wants to be good at. If she doesn't care, she wont put no more than just enough into something. She is energetic and is a bit of a brat, her great grandparents gave her everything so she she didn't hear the word 'no' often, and if she does, she will find a way to change that.

Bio: When Raven was born, her mother died 2 days later in the hospital due to medical complications and exhaustion. She grew up with her father who was a very loving, and supportive man. He took care of her, and did everything that a well fatherly figure would do. Raven's father was a lawyer, but he had a passion for hunting. When Raven was 7, he had brought her, her first bow and arrow, and taught her how to hunt to small things such as squirrels and birds. As she grew older, she was able to get better and better at her hunting skills and accuracy. She even was able to upgrade herself to weapons such as guns and knives. When Raven was 16, her father had suffered a heart attack and sadly, passed away. From then on, she swore at his grave that she would become a doctor so that she could help others. She was depressed for months, due to the fact that he was the only one that she had and was still a minor. She was put with her grandparents, (her father's parents) and at first it was difficult to be around them, but she got used to it and comfortable and has had a good relationship with them. After Raven graduated high school at 17, (skipping a grade) she went straight to college, with the scholarship that she had gotten. When her roommate had turned on the television, right away a warning from the government was being read. It had stated that the dead was alive. Very confused, Raven turned the volume up higher, only to hear that cities like Manhattan, were being taken over by the dead, and only a headshot could kill one. She still she didn't believe it. But that changed when that same weekend she had gone back to her grandparents house to go hunting, and encountered a zombie near a bush, which she luckily was able to shoot in the head with her gun. Terrified, she ran back to her grandparent's house, only to find them already turned....

• Personality: On first impression, many people see Raven as 'intimidating' because she always has a 'stuck-up' look on her face. In reality, Raven is always thinking about more than one thing. She wants to help people, both emotionally and physically, even though she herself is very emotionally unstable, with all of the losses thats shes experienced during her lifetime. Raven, can be seen as a 'tomboy' because of her interest, for example, her love for hunting. Shes very loyal to her friends and family, and can get a bit too overprotective. She isn't afraid to speak of whats on her mind, and if theres someone or something bothering her, she won't hesitate to say so. She analyzes her actions and thinks of the consequences, but shes a huge risk taker and rather wants to die trying and with a fight than doing nothing and giving up or 'opting out.' She has very good memory which is very helpful for her when shes traveling to other places. She won't hesitate to go on dangerous trips or missions and shes very quick on her feet.

Kalyca is rather sweet, very kind to everyone she meets regardless of their demeanor to her. It seems as if she might even give her own life to someone who hates her. Although she has confidence in herself, and can take care of herself it's almost as if most of the time she regards her life as lesser than others.


Kalyca is intelligent and quick witted, although when it comes to tough decisions she can find things difficult. Especially if it involves the lives of others.


She seems rather good at reading people, figuring out what they want or what they're thinking. Often able to see through any lies someone might throw at her.


Kalyca has a difficulty opening up about herself, and making deep connections with someone.




Biography

From birth to age five Kalyca lived on the island Kauai with her parents, but by early five her parents past away from a simple car accident. From then on she was taken care of by her godparents, long time family friends of her biological mother. Kalyca doesn't remember her biological parents very well and loves her adoptive ones dearly.






Her adoptive parents traveled quite frequently as they studied aquatic life in tropical regions. Due to this she was homeschooled for the majority of her life. They were decent on covering all standard topics, but her education was highly focused on sciences. Their topic of interest bleed into her the most, though they encouraged her to pursue her own interests. Picking up her own studies and learning about what she wanted. From around age thirteen she grew rather attached to ethology. The study of animal behaviour, usually with a focus on behaviour under natural conditions. That continued on eventually growing into the subtopic of zoosemiotics as well. The study of the use of signs among animals.




It was rather difficult for her but by age eighteen Kalyca managed to get into a university. To more officially continue her studies and interests. The whole experience was rather difficult for her, as her frequent travels left it hard for her to make strong lasting connections with people. So of course she jumped at the chance to go out traveling again in an apprenticeship right after her four years of college.






The apprenticeship was out [wherever the hell we're at/near where we're at now, because you still haven't said and I'm not gonna wait for this CS] to study the native fauna in depth. There was slight reservations as Kalyca has always lived in much warmer climates. It was to such a degree that she had never even seen snow in person before. Though she figured in the end she needed that sort of challenge.




Her first few days went relatively well, until one of the other workers got lost in especially bad weather. Once they found the poor man what was left of him was nothing less than a monster. Under the confusion the crew tried to contact the nearest city, though there was no answer for anyone. So they did the only thing they could think of, they set off. Traveling to the nearest city to them. Only the way most of the original crew was lost and they were confronted with similar monstrosities.


Of course once they got to the city things didn't get much better as they found everyone had been plagued with the strange sickness, or whatever one wanted to call it.


Kalyca pre-incident had never touched a gun before, let alone fired one. Although being in a decent size group who did know what they were doing she was never given the opportunity. Given that ammo was limited and in this case the price of missing a shot was a lot greater than loosing good game. Though for more than a few days now she has been stranded by herself, with little more than a knife to protect herself. Through quick wits she's been able to avoid any disasters, although she isn't counting on her luck to hold out much longer.


At this point in time she's found herself completely alone, no group nor allies.

Bio: Michael lived a pretty modest life before the downfall. He made a good living and was engaged, planning to marry later that year. However, nature always wins, and his happy marriage was not to be. He was in the market when he first encountered an infected, it was hidden in the bathroom and he was forced to stab it with a piece of broken glass. he quickly rushed to his fiancé's apartment where he found her eaten alive. He partly lost it that day, becoming mute, and holding up in his apartment as things got worse. Soon he was forced to leave, and he slowly adapted to the new and infected world. He did many things that would sicken the common person, but what mainly kept him alive was his marksmanship. He became fond of a scoped rifle he took off another survivor. He does perimeter defense of the town and mainly keeps to himself.


Personality: Michael is very quite and rarely speaks, he has an odd fixation on his rifle which he named "Michelle". Though he doesn't care about human life and only seeks to survive.

Bio: As a teen, Jim idolized his brother. When his mother convinced his brother to kill their Jim, his brother locked Jim outside. Jim, wishing to save his brother from a grim future, took a rifle to shoot the gun out of his brother's hand. He was sitting in the tree branch when it broke and Jim accidentally shot his brother in the head. Jim inadvertently kills the brother he loves to save the father he hated. After the death of his brother Jim was not the same, He started to get into bad stuff. His grades dropped and he got in trouble a lot more. A few years later Jim attempted to join the army, only to be rejected due to his failing of a drug test. He then decided to do the next best thing, to become a Security guard. When Jim became a security guard he got hit with the reality that he can't be doing drugs. Jim awoke late one night to the sound of his mother screaming. He ran down stairs and saw that his father was eating his mother. Jim ran to his mom, and kicked his father off her. Jim then took out a knife from one of the cabinets and stabbed his zombie father to death. As he sat on the floor crying, arose and attacked him, but luckily Jim stabbed her in the eye before she could bit him.


Personality: Quiet, serious, sensitive and kind. Does not like conflict and avoids doing things that will generate conflict. Loyal and faithful. Private. Timid and prone to discouragement. Socially uncomfortable. Suggestible and not self-confident. Second-guesses self. Lower energy. Fears drawing attention to self. Very well-developed senses, and aesthetic appreciation for beauty. Flexible and open-minded. Likely to be original and creative. Enjoys the present moment.

Bio: Ordinary was and is always a word that L'Sefyont found comforting to her ears. An ordinary family, an ordinary life, and an ordinary world was all she could ask for. Born the second eldest of four siblings, she found her passion for marksmanship at her Grandmother's farm while trying to whittle down on the crows. Her Grandmother, seeing her talent, persuaded her daughter and his husband to let her pursue and develop her skill. Time past, with constant practice and focus, L'Sefyont grew to be a disciplined and polite person who believed in action and not words. Her training had gotten her to the University's varsity marksman team and made her family proud. Her team departed one day to another country where they were to enter a week long championship. They performed well to the point that they made it to the finals. To Celebrate, her teammates decided to go to a bar; however, L'Sefyont stayed behind, an upset stomach the cause of it. She lay on the bed, hoping that the ailment would vanish when she awoke to piercing screams. Grabbing her gun, she went out to see what it was, and was welcomed to a world that was no longer ordinary.


Personality: Calculative and cautious, L'Sefyont is the type who greets with that wary half-hearted smile that does not quite reach her eyes while keeping her distance. She's not often a good judge of character, thus she makes up for that weakness in assessment with caution. She neither tries to irritate others nor does she try to warm up to them at the first moment. She prepares to break away from a group if she feels something is amiss or dangerous and is quite confident about her ability to survive.Her instincts are her best asset, often a complement to her mind when she thinks of a plan to escape a situation. She does trust, however, that trust comes slowly and builds over time. Overall, her desire to survive is rooted in the hope of seeing her loved ones again.

Aidan is a very serious person. There's always never a time when he's not serious. Except when his younger sister is around. Before the zombie apocalypse, he was more playful and understood the words 'fun'. Now, he doesn't even know what it is. That seemed to be the only trait of his that disappeared. That and the caring about others. Now all he cares about is his sister and staying alive. When he does find downtime, people find him to be very charming and Charasmatic. He's also smart, brave, and tactical, mostly due to all his CIA training. He's one of those people who likes to calculate everything.

She decided to try and figure out what it was so she decided to learn how to become a hacker to find out. Ever since, hacking just stuck with her so she joined the hacking community.

Nadia is the younger sister so of course she'll have majority of the younger sister attributes, protective being the main one. When she gets attatched, she can be one of the most protective people you know. It comes quicker with kids. She's playful but can be serious when she needs to be. One of the bad things about her personality is the fact that she can hold grudges. It's one of the reasons why she and her brother are still not talking. Deep down she's a sweetheart but because of the apocalypse, she had to harden herself. Now she's someone who has almost completely shut down all of her emotions to try and survive.

Living with her grandmother was, as you might guess, difficult. She was an extremely kind woman, but the bills from the hospitals kept piling up. Thousands of dollars each month. Because of this they lived in poor conditions, on the cheap side of things.


In school Selene struggled constantly. She failed 3rd grade, and then 5th grade after that. It is because of this that she is still in middle school.

She decided to try and figure out what it was so she decided to learn how to become a hacker to find out. Ever since, hacking just stuck with her so she joined the hacking community.

Personality

Nadia is the younger sister so of course she'll have majority of the younger sister attributes, protective being the main one. When she gets attatched, she can be one of the most protective people you know. It comes quicker with kids. She's playful but can be serious when she needs to be. One of the bad things about her personality is the fact that she can hold grudges. It's one of the reasons why she and her brother are still not talking. Deep down she's a sweetheart but because of the apocalypse, she had to harden herself. Now she's someone who has almost completely shut down all of her emotions to try and survive.

Past Occupation - College Student/ florist


Bio - Jehan was born in the south of france and lived there until they were 16 after which their parents kicked them from their house, leaving them with a decent amount of money. Jehan used that money to move to america and go to a decent arts college. They were homeless for the first 6 months of life in America, until they were taken in by a young Journalist. They were a good student and was involved with a student newspaper that was set to win awards. They balanced a part time job during the week to be able to afford their rent.


Personality - Jehan is a kind person who tries to see the good in everyone but takes criticism to heart and has a tendency to be melodramatic. Jehan also has a fear of isolation causing them to often be paranoid and neurotic.


Weapons - Scissors and a small revolver.
