Wwwwhaaaaaat?
**Disclaimer** This rp may have darker aspects to it at points. Lurk at your own risk.

October 21st was going to be one of the most magical nights. You and a larger group of people were invited to the private camping festival StarFall. No one was prepared for it to be a ruse. As the sun faded and the stars began to fall, the shooting started.

A long forgotten group had spent their entire existence dedicated to the extermination of those living with a certain mutation. Those invited did all have the chance of having it, but none had any clue about the mutations, let alone how to use them; long ago their surviving ancestors decided to separate from each other, go into hiding, and to never to use their elements agai. They hoped maybe, someday their children’s children would be safe from the exterminators.

Was it fate that led you to that horrible night? Or maybe it was luck? Whatever it was, it awoke something deep inside of you. You and three others manage to help escape together and from that point on must fight for your lives.

This is a small group rp, positions are currently Closed. Thank you for stopping by :D

There will be separate threads for character sheets, ooc and anything else we might need, so please only use this thread to reply in character.

Backwoods of Oregon
Mentioned: N/A

The first thing Polaris noticed upon the short walk from the parking lot to the walking trail was how beautiful, and big the sky was. Right then it was still the clear light blue of the mid day, that night this spot would be lit with the stars. It was hard for the young woman to control her excitement, the grin not leaving her face since the public bus had dropped her off. She didn’t even care that she was alone for this trip, none of her friends having been interested enough to try for an invite; Polaris simply was happy to be.

Having scribbled all the relevant information on the back of her invite, Polaris found herself glancing at it often to make sure she was going in the right direction. After her RSVP she had been given all of the directions she needed, and assigned to Camp Orion with three others.

POLARIS MORITA YOU ARE INVITED TO STARFALL~

Please join us in the backwoods of the great Oregon beauty! Just over thirty miles from the beach we have found the most marvelous festival location! Please join us October, 21-22 for a beauty filled night to watch a once in a lifetime meteor shower.

Please send your RSVP to Starfall2021@gmail.com

Upon confirmation you will be given directions to the festival site, local bus schedules, and which camp you will be staying with.

Her camp was only a ten minute hike on a well designated, lit path through immensely huge trees. Nerves Polaris had been holding disappeared the moment she had stepped under the trees canopy- she felt close to home. Oregon and Washington beauty may have some of it's differences, but oh, did it seem so similar right then. There were quite a few people around her, some close friends, some people already high on drugs who made new friends with strangers; from time to time Polaris would stop and say a few hellos to some people, others she just smiled at and walked past.

Suddenly, the trees disappeared to a completely open field, the sky even more visible here. Polaris had to stop for a good few seconds to just to take in the sight around her; so many camps decorated by the staff and people who had showed up days early. Three different stages at the North, East, and West of the field were playing either music, showing plays, dance routines, and so much more! All around there was so much stimulation, finally Polaris gathered her wits and continued on following the directions laid out to the East of the field where Camp Orion was.

So far no one else was at her camp, so Polaris took the time to walk the space till she found the spot she wanted and began setting up her tent. Upon the correspondence with the RSVP the festival could set up a tent for the festival goers, but it would cost quite a bit extra- Polaris didn’t need the help offered anyways, she had been pitching a tent since she was a child. Heck, her younger brother used to insist on sleeping in the tent on their property when they were kids, and more times than not she found herself out there with him. Once done she looked back at her spot, chosen just a ways from the sitting arrangements around the fire; close enough to the woods, but still within their designated area. This was going to be the most amazing night of her life, Polaris was sure of it!
