Director Fury stood at the Academy gates, the golden Avengers emblem upon it glistening in the sun. He looked up at the clock tower behind him, letting out a sigh and shook his head. There was still late comers but thankfully some of the students had arrived on time, making him feel at least some of the effort he and the faculty had put into setting up this school hadn't gone to waste.

Avengers Academy was certainly the best place for young heroes to get their start, with the Timeless Archives being stocked by the All Father Odin with knowledge from across the Nine Realms and with Hank Pym teaching the students in his own lab. Director Fury had even built a S.H.I.E.L.D HQ here for the students to use and train themselves in. Still he did have an ulterior motive for bringing the headquarters here, mainly to keep in an eye on some of the more troublesome students as well some of the teachers.

Ares was a loose cannon but all he seemed to care about was fighting and putting the kids in their place and he never really left his Arena of War but Madame Hydra was a whole different matter. His brow furrowed at the thought of her, but he hoped she wouldn't be a problem as long as they kept their goals aligned. Still he would triple check all his data soon, making sure that she or any of the students wouldn't get the hands on it. At least she was here with him, rather than putting her "talents" to use in one of the more "unsavoury" schools such as A.I.M Academy or the Hydra School. That was one of the reasons he had built this school, to stop some of the more troubled teenagers from going down the wrong path by coming here while they still had a chance, that is if they could make it here by the bell.

He looked back at the clock, a minute having gone by, and growled. He was already starting to lose his patience with some of the students and it hadn't even been five minutes.

Natasha was there early wanting to watch her fellow class mates arrive. She had walked around the grounds taking note of everything and how things were kept in place. After all they had brought her here "for her own good". They wanted her to feel home at least that's what they told her. If that was the case, they would've allowed her to go back home to Russia. She didn't want to be here and the only person she somewhat trusted from this thing called S.H.I.E.L.D. was the archer who had chosen not to kill her. Despite of his orders. Now, she was sitting on a bench looking like a curious bystander. After all this was the beginning of a school year of a bunch of "super heroes". She rolled her eyes and noted with a smirk how he grew impatient.

The redhead stood up from her sitting position and strolled away from the gathered crowd. But soon made her way to the students waiting for things to start. After all she didn't want that headmaster to distrust her more than he already did. She walked slowly acting like she had not been here for hours but just arrived. In fact she seemed bored like nothing interested her in fact she watched each person from the corner of her eye.

Tony was late. Of course he was. It was fashionable - no one was in time. In fact his AI, JARVIS, had complimented him out to be in time but still the young billionaire couldn't have bothered him more. Eventually his AI had called Tony a cab on its own and he no choice but drive to said school. He looked out payed the driver and was only five minutes late. He put on his usual smirk and walked over to his new school.

He was late by now about 15 minutes but Fury could be lucky it was only 15 minutes if his AI hadn't interfered he would've been hours too late. That's what they called fashionably late after all. He looked at the different students and a smirk crept on his lips as he spotted a red beauty along the students. He walked over to the girl with his usually trademark smirk. "Hey beauti...", he started but was immediately cut short by Natasha "Shut up and keep those nicknames to yourself, Stark!", she told him strictly walking away from the billionaire leaving him in awe. Before he shook his head turning to Fury.

From the sky most folks would see just what looks to be a dark blotch in the blue sky but within seconds it would turn into a silvery like board that was plummeting towards the meeting ground that Fury had scheduled for all of the students to meet, The Silver Surfer halted his board before he would collide with anything..or anyone and the board harmlessly was absorbed within his feet and was gone just like that leaving the Silvery man who shined in the sun. He took the time to stare at each individual that was there giving off a neutral stare getting a firm grasp on who he would be attending with for a while.

So far it had seemed he was one of the early birds of the students attending he spotted two people he wasn't sure if they were students or not but didn't feel bold enough to walk up and ask so he merely approached Fury and giving the man an respectful hand shake only muttering Fury's name in greetings before he would go to find himself a seat awaiting for what fury had in store for him and the students. He walked a fair distance before his surfboard appeared from his feet and he hovered a fair distance from the ground before he sat down Indian styled waiting for what could be a while depending on the students that would show up.

Julio had debated whether to take the ticket and student visa that the man named Cable had given him. Cable had seemed unimpressed at his outburst of power on their first meeting and it had made Julio take note. This man wasn't afraid of him. This man was like him. There was a place for him after all. It was one thing to hear about strange happenings around the world, to hear of so called Superheroes and gods. It was another to be thrust into a world you were never prepared for.

The bus dropped him off in front of the ornate gates of the Avengers Academy. Everything he owned was on his back, the raggedy backpack at its wits end, and suddenly he was aware that his English was not the best. Julio caught a stern teacher's eyes-- eye -- and he immediately turned back around with the full intention of hitch hiking his way back to Mexico. But the bus's doors had closed and it pulled away with a puff of exhaust. Julio softly cursed in Spanish, before turning back around. It looked like teenagers were rushing and with all of his worrying, he'd never looked to see what time it was. He was late.

"Mierda!" He cursed, bursting into a run, and rushing past the stern looking man at the gate while never making eye-contact with him. He was just within the the walls of the academy when the strap of his back pack decided that exact moment to tear. While he didn't have that much with him most of it was now scattered across the grounds.

Pietro Maximoff had never been one to be on time. It wasn't that he was late, per say, just...a little behind schedule. Other people's schedules, at least. His own was a different story.

This new "Avengers School" thing...he wasn't so sure about it yet. He had put up a fight about going (no one wanted to go to school, right?), but he honestly was pretty curious about the whole arrangement. And to his surprise, his mother actually fought back about it. Guess she was finally getting tired of him living in her basement, and her constantly having to deal with angry people who had their stuff stolen by him. Eh, they all deserved it anyway. Well, most of them. Some of them.

So now he was to arrive at this new school place, and by the sound of it, he was surprised he didn't have an armed escort to campus. The place almost sounded like a prison. Students weren't even allowed to leave campus. Not that that would stop Pietro if he could help it - he did what he wanted, when he wanted, where he wanted. But what he really wanted to do right now was to - eat a Twinkie. But after that, investigate the other students he would be - oh god - studying with.

So he got there about 7 minutes late. He really meant to be only 3 minutes late, but he had gotten distracted by a pretty lady and had to avoid her date after making a comment he maybe should have kept in his head and long story short now he had a new watch. But he arrived, nonetheless. So far, the crowd gathering consisted of Nick Fury, that guy with the eye patch who made him come here and always looked, well, furious; Tony Stark, obviously the young inheritor of Stark enterprises, D.O.B. May 29th, 5'9", eyes: whatever, Pietro stopped reading his driver's license there, didn't care, carefully put his wallet right back into the nice young man's pocket; next up some weird silver-ey guy, floating on a surfboard (?), that's new and also intimidating and can be put off until a later date; scrappy looking Hispanic kid, this one didn't have a license on him? He doesn't look like anybody, wonder what he's here for? All that's in his bags are boring stuff like clothes and personal possessions, nothing fun or interesting; last but not least a red-headed hottie who looked mildly annoyed and also bored, he never went through a lady's pockets but he didn't have much of a problem with her bags, man she had some fun stuff in here, Pietro decided she must be like a spy or something.

After all of that, he finally stopped moving long enough for them to see him, he was sure they'd notice him going through their stuff but they weren't fast enough to do anything about it. He stopped in front of Fury and shook his hand as if they had never met before. "It's a real pleasure, Mr. Professor Fury sir, I personally cannot WAIT to get started here at the good ol' University, so excited, can't wait to LEARN stuff and study and have my eyes OPENED to the ERROR OF MY WAYS," Pietro went off, stopping himself there because he suddenly remembered that Nick Fury was mildly terrifying and also pretty much owned him at this point so he better shut up before he decided to make his life a living hell. He moved well away from Fury and faced the other students and gave a bow. "Top of the morning to you all!"

Julio had been too distracted and embarrassed to notice Peter's rifling, on the ground gathering together trinkets, papers, and clothes as quickly as he could. So he was surprised when out of the corner of his eye it looked like someone had popped out of thin air. His hand stopped midway into stuffing his bag, and blinked a couple of times before he looked around to see if anyone else had seen that. Instead of confirming his reaction he suddenly was aware of all the strange oddities around him. While many teenagers looked normal enough, the odd clothes here and the silver skin there had him openly staring.

Julio was so caught up in his own head he'd barely had a chance to take a good look at his peers. For some reason, this school instantly became all the more legitimate upon this quick survey of his surroundings. The guy who had appeared as if from nowhere caught his attention again. Speaking almost too quickly too understand-- especially with Julio's limited practice with the English language-- he gave a tiny wave after the guy had bowed. Still in a wide eyed daze he returned to picking up his things, embarrassment sinking in even more now that the caliber of student was known to him.

Natasha looked at the new arrivals and rolled her eyes. Every single guy looked like they wouldn't stand a chance in a fight with the exception of the silver coloured one. He caught her attention and she knew better than openly stare at him like the other buys. She walked over to a tree and leaned against it crossing her arms. This would become interesting. Her gaze went over the other teenager: Tony Stark, a normal looking boy and herself. For a moment she considered helping the boy with his sprawled things but she felt a tug on her bag. Out of reflex she punched behind her but only hitting air. What was that? For a moment she looked cautiously at her environment until she spotted a grey haired young man. She raised her eyebrow and that also was the only movement which gave her surprise away.

Again she noticed how the students walked up to Fury to greet him and shake his hand. But she couldn't care less of showing her "respect" to that guy. He needed to earn his respect after all he would've preferred seeing her dead than in this school. Once the bloke came back to greet them. She straightened her posture and walked up to him. "If you go through me stuff one more time, I will break your neck. Are we clear?", she told him with a casual voice like she was talking about today's sunny weather. Nothing gave away how serious she was about her threat. Natasha wasn't here to be part of some stupid superhero squad. All she intended on doing was go through classes. Perhaps finding some useful information and afterwards go for a run. She wasn't stupid enough to think that the KGB would welcome her with open arms after she had been caught. No, she was most likely thrown to the wolves. But Natasha had gone through worse to care.

@fanaticalferret

Tony was busy looking at the ones who arrived shortly after him. A hispanic dude and a silver guy. Was that some kind of alloy he fell into and why was the super dude able to move? Was that even silver or did it simply look like that?, Tony wondered while looking at him. As soon as the stuff from that Hispanic boy fell to the ground he couldn't help but smirk amused. Apparently they had a clumsy one amongst his class mates. Gosh, how he already hated his school. Based on his intellect, he was sure that classes was only consisting of boredom and wasted time for him. At least that's how normal schools had felt for him until he had gone to the MIT to pursue his Bachelor and Master in engineering only two years ago.

Once he felt a gentle tug on the back pocket of his jeans, Tony felt around. "Having found something you like?", he asked cockily as it could be mistaken by someone feeling up his bum. But no-one was standing there. Unconsciously his hand went to the back pocket where he usually stored his wallet and he took it out going through his thing. Not even a dollar was missing. Not that Tony would've cared, he had recently inherited his family's fortune and company. Yet he knew exactly what was inside of his wallet. Tony blamed his eidetic memory for that. Shortly after he had looked behind himself, he could've sworn that he had seen a young man standing there with them. But the guy was gone again in the blink of an eye and stood near Fury. Once the man was back with them, Tony nodded as a greeting. "Hi, s'up?", he said and watched the short encounter between him and the redhead. Apparently the girl had temper and it made him wonder if she really was as dangerous as she was declining.

Rider snickered lightly, amused at the silver-haired teen's amazingly subtle act of sarcasm against Director Fury. He didn't approve of it, actually. Why would you insult the dude who owns the school you're studying at, especially if the dude's name is Nick-fucking-Fury? To him, it was dumb, but that didn't cease his amusement. The teen realized his fallacy--judging by the look of fear on his face-- and quickly set out to introduce himself to the gathering crowd in the most cringiest way possible, by bowing.

Rider didn't know why it was cringy, but bows and bowing in general was an awkward conversation piece for him, but back to the topic. "Way to make a great first impression, silvette," Is that even a word? The thought crossed his mind, before being interrupted by someone who walked up to the guy. That certain someone was a redhead, and she was hot, as in smoking hot. Hormones decided to kick in, and Rider couldn't help but ever so slightly lower his gaze to a particular place on her body...

No! Bad testosterone! His eyes snapped back to her pretty face, secretly enjoying all the wonders of the world evolution had given to mankind, until she decided to say something about breaking the silvette's neck if he tries to steal from her again. Yikes, someone's mad. I mean, he would be, if he was in her situation, but he wouldn't go so far as to kill someone for his wallet. He'd just send an excruciatingly painful jolt of electricity through their bodies, probably. That'd teach 'em.

A voice popped up to his side, and he turned to a rather nerdy-looking dude that looks all to familliar to him, but still can't place his tongue on it. "The sky.", Rider knew that he wasn't talking to him, but it didn't matter. "Hey, name's Richard Rider, and you're..." He trailed off like as if he was solving some sort of puzzle in his brain to figure out who the dude is.

Loki

Loki approached the school with a displeased face, his gaze shifting over to the golden gate that marked the entrance. He was late, at least in earth time. He hadn't even planned to turn up in first place. It was Odin that had forced him to attend this godless place. Yes, he even went so far to threaten him, to take away his powers and send him back to Jotunheim if he didn't listen. He was sure the old man would never go so far and he certainly wasn't afraid of his empty threats. The reason he decided to go in first place, was his mother, Frigga.

She had pleaded him to go, saying it would improve his knowledge and help him find friends. He huffed at that, he  wasn't particularly keen on making friends with anyone at this place. He was a god, it should be the other way around! They should kneel before him. Of course he wasn't foolish enough to believe that any of these heathens would do that. Nobody here had even the slightest clue of who he was but he would change that soon enough. He was already plotting something. His mood rose slightly at the thought. So many possibilities, he was sure they would send him back to Asgard after just one day.

With the hint of a smirk he walked up to the gate where he caught glimpse of a tall man with an eyepatch who seemed to be the leader of this school. He had a serious face and was keep checking the clock, probably waiting for the rest of the students to arrive. This place already bored him but nothing that couldn't be changed by causing a little bit of mischief. Leaning against a tree he looked at the students who had already arrived, all he had to do was take a pick on his first victim.

Natasha could feel the dark haired boy's gaze on her body. But he seemed to get himself under control on his own. She was used to men and women eyeing her body. After all she had had to learn how to use it. Yet outside of being Black Widow it was actually quite annoying. But at least telling the silver haired bloke off seemed to have established some sort of line none of these students would dare to trespassed the boundaries. After all she wasn't here to make friends. Liking someone was a weakness and got her killed. It was one of the first rules she had learned in the Red Room.

Tony looked at Rider who had answered his question instead of the silver haired dude. To be honest he was more interested in that surfer boy than the one next to him but who cares. As he asked for his name, Tony rose his eyebrow. No-one ever asked for his name. They just knew it. "...and I'm genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.", he concluded causally and added "If you don't know who I am, you've been living under a rock the past few months!" He sounded offended but his facial expression didn't show it. After all his face had been constantly in the tabloid lately. Thanks to the death of his parents.

@Faultier

Pietro turned to the girl as she spoke to him. The way the words came out sounded very casual, but the words she said couldn't have been less so. Which somehow made it more intimidating, in a way. He considered whether she was serious or not though, but he decided that even if she was, she couldn't catch him anyway. His face showed none of his contemplations, however, and he just shot her an innocent look and shrugged.

No one seemed very impressed with his speed, which bugged him. Play it cool, Pietro...he told himself, brushing a strand of silver hair behind his ear. He turned to the helmet-clad guy who had called him "silvette".

"Oh, that's cute," Pietro retorted. "Coming from Magnum head over here. Why are you wearing a helmet? I don't see a football anywhere. Or are you just that clumsy?" He paused for a second. "I don't think we've been introduced." And with that he was holding the guy's wallet. "Richard Rider, huh? What do you like to ride?" He tossed the wallet back at him, holding in a snicker. "Don't worry, I didn't take anything. Except for this coupon to Subway. You're not allowed to leave campus anyway, so you won't miss it."

He thought about adding something to rich boy about how some of them didn't have time to keep track of every rich orphan in the United States who inherited a mulit-million international corporation, except 1. Pietro totally did have time for that and 2. He didn't want everyone to hate him right away, especially Stark. Because of the whole. Ya know. Multi-million international corporation thing.

Pepper Potts left Avengers Hall, a stack of folders tucked under her arm and the door behind her closing automatically. The Hall itself didn't seem at all that high tech, but Director Fury had made sure it was the most secure building in the whole Academy and Pepper was one of the lucky few who had access due to her administrative duties. Most of the students here had been scouted or chosen by her, except for the more unruly ones who the Director himself had chosen, as she was a little unsure of them.

She tugged at the door handle, making sure the building was sealed tight before heading to the gate to see Fury. "Director Fury"

He turned round and Pepper could see he was very uncomfortable being swarmed by the students but that was what she was here for. To be his liaison with the students. "Good! Your here Pepper. I need you to register the students here, and any latecomers too if you see them, and show them round the Campus. I'm going back to the Hall, I've had enough of these students for today."

She nodded and the Director left. She turned round, opening one of the folders and headed towards the students.

(Feel free to interact with Pepper and give her your name and such and I'll come back later and do the tour. Hopefully when more people have arrived)

Janet stood on a sidewalk while taking selfie of herself to mark the occasion of her first day, and after fiddling with the filters she finally posted it. After putting her phone back into her purse, she looked around. Janet's hype levels for her first day were very high. She was excited about coming to this school, meeting everyone (especially the boys), blowing stuff up, and giving the world a chance to see how amazing she really is. Having a confident outlook on this whole "official hero" thing, she believed that the one and only Janet Van Dyne was truly ready for it. She took a few pictures of the campus and shared them all on her blog. That's not illegal right? Oh well. She confidently walked up to the redhead named Pepper and decided to introduce herself and grab her things needed. "Hi, I'm Janet Van Dyne, AKA Wasp," she spoke with a bright smile, waving to her and a few other random students on campus.

Kate- Hawkeye

Before coming to the academy Kate decided to take a quick visit at Clint's place who was sleeping at the time so she decided to take Lucky with her to her new school but she did leave Clint a note saying that she took Lucky. Kate and Lucky arrived a few minutes late and Kate was a little surprised to see that Lucky was the only dog around since there was no rules against pets on the first page of the student rules book but she didn't read the entire rule book. How everyone is going to come over tell me how awesome I look and if they can pet Lucky, Kate thought to herself. Kate removes Lucky's leash and then pulls out a Frisbee from her quiver. "Lucky fetch boy" she says as she throws the Frisbee. Lucky begins to run towards the Frisbee that Kate threw.

Wade scarfed down a second slice of pizza as he sat in the passenger seat of the Oldsmobile that belonged to Blind Al. He grinned as the car jumped the curb, narrowly avoiding taking out patio furniture in front of a restaurant. "Did we hit something?" Al asked, hunched low in the driver's seat.

"Nah, you're good. It was just a speed bump." Wade said, suppressing a laugh. He turned to the window. "Oh hello there. I know what you're thinking: Why am I letting Al drive when she's blinder than a fourteen year old with a computer with no porn blocker? Well two reasons. First, I sadly lack the proper credentials to own and operate a motor vehicle so transport is limited. The second and far more entertaining reason being that maybe this time, Al will finally hit an entire family of four and get tossed into jail." Wade explained as Al smashed through a cart of fruit. "Okay, just pull up here." He pointed out. It ended up being pointless as Al smashed into a Porsche parked outside the academy gates. "Oh yeah. Five point parking." He said as he exited the car. He pulled a beat up duffle bag from the backseat and slung it over shoulder before sticking his head into the passenger window.

"Thanks for the ride, Al. Now you drive careful. If you die, I probably won't care." Wade grinned before turning around, pushing his rear through the window and blasting a fart into the car. "Hashtag Where's the beef?" He quipped as he strode up to the academy. He looked around before seeing a small crowd of people around a red headed woman. He threw up a hand in greeting. "HOLA!" He yelled out.

Julio finally gathered all his things together and haphazardly tied the straps together, throwing the back pack over his shoulder. The flurry of activity was comforting in the sense that he could disappear into the crowd. As hyperaware as he was of his own awkwardness, everyone else was too busy showing off or insulting each other to pay him any mind. Thank god for big egos, he guessed. He'd always fallen in line and done as he was told. He'd never even stood up to his father. Hadn't really had a chance before... maybe it had been a bad thing. But he wasn't going to start now, especially since he still wasn't sure how to control his powers.

He heard the loud greeting from a newcomer, in Spanish no less. It was enough to make Julio light up. "Hola!" He waved back. "{Do you speak Spanish}", He asked in Spanish.

@NerdyBirdy

(I don't ever know how to denote another language in RPs but comics use like brackets right?)

Julia
Julia had arrived at the academy early to try out her powers, she had devised a small test where she would see whether or not she could accurately predict the order the other students arrived in. So far, they had arrived in the order she had foreseen but the future was never certain and was always subject to change.
Julia had found that things in the far future were harder to foresee, as there were too many potential possible futures, but were easier to change should you find the correct one. Things in the near future however were easier to see but would often be seen too late to make any significant changes. Director Fury though was hoping that the academy would help Julia be able to predict the future more accurately and effectively.
Julia walked up to Pepper and introduced herself, Pepper ticked her name off and handed her a folder containing some files for her induction. As she thumbed through it, Julia had a vision, a large object was hurtling out of the sky and towards the academy and would hit in seconds! Wait...... the image became clearer, not an object a person.
"Umm guys? I know we don't really know each other yet but you might want to move." Julia said to her fellow students. "I mean it. Unless you like the idea of adding flat to your list of powers."

Joe
"MOVE OR BE SQUASHED!" Joe bellowed as seconds later he came crashing towards the academy. Students went scrambling in all directions as Joe landed in the campus quad leaving a small crater where he fell.
Joe stood up and dusted himself off before adjusting his tie. He looked himself over, there didn't seem to be any damage to the suit. That was a relief, looking this good didn't come cheap and it was a pain finding a tailor who wouldn't run away screaming at the sight of him should he need a new one.
Joe looked around at the academy. He didn't really know what was so special about it and why this Fury guy was so adamant he came but it didn't really matter to him anyway. With the authorities off his back, it was time for him to get acquainted with his new turf.

Natasha gave the boy one last cold gaze - it was almost like she was killing him with her gaze only. Afterwards, she walked up to the young woman to sign herself up and receive whatever welcoming folder they had for them. "Natasha...", she simply said and took the handed folder from the other redhead while Pepper ticked her name off as well. As soon as Julia mentioned to step away, Nat first looked confused before doing so. Shortly afterwards a guy almost crash landed there on the ground. Well, she looked curiously at the two wondering if the girl really had the ability of the future. She didn't even look 5 minutes at them before she started to skim through the folder to see if there was actually something interesting inside.

"Are you here often?", Tony asked as he walked up to Pepper with a flirty smile actually introducing himself cockily. Normally he wasn't one to introduce himself by name. As primarily shown. People either knew him by name or they did. So there was no need to actually do that. Plus he enjoyed the attention that gave him. "There you go, Mister Stark.", Pepper spoke after ticking off his name wanting to give him the welcoming folder. But the young billionaire shook his head "Don't like to be handed things.", he said holding his hands up innocently which earned him an eye roll.

The Surfer who at this point had been studying the following students realized that there was something barreling for the ground...thankfully The Surfer simply motioned a little bit to the right whilst still staring at the rest of the students seeing how they fair against...well a large individual crash landing. Once that was over the Surfer glided toward the woman know as Pepper giving her a curious gaze much like he had given toward the rest of the students individually, "Surfer...Silver Surfer wont be too hard to forget I hope." He simply says to her before he is given whatever she was appointed to handing him as he whisk away studying the innards of the folders or documents which was probably a written statement or welcome to the academy. The Surfer sighed reading through it trying his best to get past the insufferable filler words so he could see the clearer message behind these welcoming words. He then slipped the folder and papers inside of his surfboard before it...well from what it looked like was absorbed entirely by the board. The Surfer looked back at the woman known as Pepper and spoke up "When will we begin the tour of the Academy...I speak not only for me but for some it seems their patience may be...slimmer than most." He says before sitting on his board patiently looking a ways off toward some of the plant life in the area..The Surfer may not of been all for the idea of learning with a bunch of unknowns in a school of sorts but the planet's life was gorgeous.

"Soon Norrin, just give me one moment."

Pepper had been hoping more of the students would have been interested in the folders she had carefully organised for each of them but most weren't which wasn't a surprise but they can at least act like they were thankful for this opportunity. So she would have to take took matters it in her hands. She weaved herself through the students, handing out and even pushing the folders into the more oblivious students chests as she began her speech. "Welcome to Avengers Academy everyone. I'm Pepper Potts, Academy administrator and student liaison.I will show you around the campus, feel free to ask any questions as we go. Serious ones I might add" She said handing Tony his folder, making sure he got his and the message. "So follow me"

Pepper showed them round pointing out the all the facilities and buildings around the Campus, answering any questions as they came before leading them towards their rooms in their respective dorms, making sure each of them went where they were supposed to with their belongings. Hopefully they would like the rooms as each of the them were built to the students needs, reinforced walls for Joe and Julio, magic proofing for Loki and so on. Pepper had also decorated most according to each of their likes but she knew some wouldn't have approved so theirs were left to them.

She ended by telling them they were free to leave the dorms and explore on their own and that their education was more around self study rather than set classes or skill sets. Pepper left the Maverick dorm and let out a deep sigh. Hopefully this wouldn't go too badly as these guys had harder things ahead of them then this.

When Pepper handed him the folder he didn't look at it, not because he was uninterested in its contents, but because the tour started so quickly. He followed close behind her, trying his best to take everything in, while a little distracted by her hair. He'd mostly seen bottle-red heads back home, so her hair color was just very alluring. There had been another girl who had been among the group earlier with an even starker color of red hair. He liked that hair color.

Dropping his stuff down in his room he was surprised at how tailor-made it was for him. 'Reinforced walls', Pepper had said, and a part of him wanted to test them out. His hands were shaking though. He was still too afraid to try and he closed the door behind him, heading after Pepper and the group.

"Miss," He said, catching her attention at the end of the tour. "Um... I just want to be sure that the facility can handle me-- Uh, I mean my powers. I just don't..." He dropped his voice a bit lower, he was embarrassed. Especially having seen other's so confident in using their powers. "I'm not as skilled as others. I don't know how to even begin. What if I destroy something? What if I hurt someone?" He asked, a little hysteria in his voice.

Pepper gave him a reassuring smile and put her hand on his shoulder. "That is exactly why your here Julio. So we can help you gain confidence in yourself and your abilities. This whole academy was built for people just like you, so there's nothing to be embarrassed or worried about, most of the other students probably feel exactly how you feel right now. The first step is confidence, so talk to the others, make some friends and relax and you'll soon see a difference with your powers. But if it all gets too much, you can talk to any of the teachers or come and see me and we will do our utmost to help you. So don't worry."

She turned to leave "Anyway the Director would prefer you destroy something here, then outside of the Academy." She said with a laugh "And please call me Pepper."

Rider immediately sighed in relief at hearing the words 'free to leave the dorm' from Pepper, shuddering afterwards as he recalled the idea of school without days off. He didn't know if silvette was actually serious about the statement, but he sounded pretty serious-- but then again, he did call me 'Magnum head'.

His thoughts drifted back earlier when the silvette-- I need to know his name, can't keep calling him that forever, can I? -- had not only insulted him in front of a crowd, but also stole his wallet! Now, Nova had briefly considered the thought of going all Pikachu on that guy like he was a poor, innocent-looking bike, but had decided against it as: 1. He'd be on Director Fury's shitlist (which'd be worse than death) 2. He didn't know what kind of powers silvette possessed, for all Rider knows he could be some kind of God trapped in a mortal form with wallet-stealing capabilities and 3. He was a superhero, and it was against his morals to hurt a person, even if said person is annoying as hell.

And so he didn't, choosing to opt for the always-solid act of saying 'whatever' in situations like these, like a weird magic word that relieves the area of any tension.

Now here he was, with silvette, redhead hottie, Tony (he'd have to apologize later, though it wasn't his fault he didn't watch the news as much), Janet, and a few others whose names he doesn't know yet. Taking a deep breath, the Human Rocket thought it'd be a good idea to ask them all politely, and so he did-- only to be interrupted by someone asking Pepper a question he was all too familliar with.

"You won't," He decided to butt-in on the conversation, it was an obnoxious habit of him. "-as long as you can control yourself." He added, his voice friendly, yet without losing it's easy-going tone.

"Richard Rider," He introduced himself to the awkward teen, "Nice to meetcha."

Janet typed away on her phone, taking a picture on her phone of the information she received from Pepper, and of course a quick picture of herself. After skimming and scamming through the information given to her, she looked around at some of the fellow students standing around the dorms. Some students stayed and socialized or went into their dorms. However, some went and left the dorms so Janet decided to do the same and get to know the campus better. She started to walk around the campus quad and saw a stone bench next to a bush in the midst of a couple students walking around the quad. She sat on the bench, crossing her legs, and took out her phone to scout out some of the students here at the academy.
