Jadara is the granddaughter of the Reorder's first ever leader and founder, Rygoro. As one of the most skillful chi blockers of the bunch, Jadara leads her family's legacy with her own family of the highest ranks. Her first son, Rygo was kept a secret due to her affair with a high ranking general and was raised away from the family estate by her closest servant.

Years later, Rygo rose up to become one of the greatest chi blockers the Reorder has seen yet and became their rogue assassin. He remained a dirty secret and Jadara soon gave birth to his half sister to her husband that she had been disloyal to. As they hunted down every bender in all the nations, Jadara discovered a frightening revelation concerning her daughter.

Her daughter, Neeyae, was born with the ability to bend water. Jadara felt destroyed upon learning that her daughter could become a target and that her own dynasty potentially jeopardized, so she had to keep her daughter's abilities hidden. Neeyae was oppressed of her powers, but the child still practiced her power over water in secrecy.

Despite her poised appearance, Jadara conducts herself harshly especially when it comes to her rule. A notable instigator who loves to tell a good story to stir up the pot so that her everyday life never grows stale. Her love of her children and animals may be her only redeeming qualities. She is hard to fool and calculates her next moves well in advance for a thoughtful preemptive strike.

“If it wasn't for this stupid war I'd already know how to do this!” - Zuriah
“Once this is over I'm probably going to take over the tea shop and get my parents a nice tropical home.” - Talohn

Name:
Zuriah (9)
Talohn (21)
Position: (commander? soldier? captive? etc.)
Civilians
Association:
Phoenix
Nation:
Fire
Bending Element:
Fire (potential for lightning subclass)
Air (with flight subbending)
Appearance
Bender Siblings.png
Personality:
Zuriah is a kid, she will behave childish most of the time, but she has seen what happened when someone gets caught bending, so she's very careful with her bending, though she tends to lack the patience for much and high negative emotions will set of her firebending. She's working on it, but she's a kid caught in a war, so she sometimes feels down or useless. She loves sparring though and has taken an interest in swordfighting, something her brother's happy about so she has something to fall back on if her bending gets blocked.

Talohn tends to seem very laidback and a passivist, however don't let that fool you, he can be plenty dangerous if you harm those he cares about, his friends or family. He's very protective of his little sister and is very glad that they weren't found by the reorder or they either would've been killed or captures, the last one being worse cause then he would've been seperated from Zriah. He's not very outspoken, but tries giving good advise where he can give it.

Goal(s):
  • To master her bending (Zuriah)
  • Being able to live free from the opression (both)
  • To help end this war and bring the Avatar back (Talohn)
Backstory:
Born to an airbender and firebender who did not know the other could bend until their first child, Talohn, was born, as he was pretty early discovered by his parents to be an airbender. This led to them confessing to each other that they were benders, in case a second kid would get the firebending genes. This happened when Talohn was 12, their daughter, Zuriah, first bended on accident in the shop, resulting in a burn and some fire damage, luckily the shop was empty.

Since then they have explained the importance of keeping it a secret, but Zuriah's lacking in the control department, so when she was five Talohn took her with him on his travels, so she could practice in secret in secluded spaces. They were found, after a pretty big accident, by the Phoenix Restoration, Zuriah mostly stays in their hideout to train and master her bending, but Talohn goes out to help find and maybe rescue benders from the reorder.

Name: Akane Saitomoto

Position: Vagabond (wanderer.)

Association: Neither

Nation: Unknown

Bending Element: N/A

1000044406.jpg
1000040709.jpg

Personality: Akane is a cold and calculating woman. Some say she is a ruthless strategist. She thought many wars, many battles; she lost her way countless times just like this world has. She is a calm one, and even a kind person under the right circumstances. She is passionate about the blade, and even more so about nature. She saw society's stupidity and walked away, vowing to never return.

Goal(s): To wander the earth as a vagabond until she is needed.

Backstory: Akane was born in a small fishing village just outside of the Earth kingdom. While the village traded with said nation, they preferred themselves independent. Of course it all changed when the Reorder took the throne.

Akane's mother died at birth of her younger brother, her father left to join the Earth army fighting the Reorder-- never to be heard from again. She vowed revenge. She vowed to take care of her sister. However a passionate and angry teenager draws unwanted eyes. You see, her sister was an earth bender, while she wasn't. And when the reorder came she was useless against them.

They took her sister.

In the following years Akane also known as "The fury of the Earth" lead a rebellion, storming internment camps in search of her sister. It was on one such raid she lost most of her men, and found out her sister parished two years back under a winter sickness. Lost, confused, battered and broken-- Akane left this world, vowing to never meddle with its occupants ever again. She became a wanderer.

A Vagabond.

“Fear is a weapon used against us. It is worse than any enemy you will ever meet, for it is an enemy within yourself. You must conquer it.”
Name: Pratt Uma
Nickname: Golden eyes
Age: 25-35
Birth nation: land of earth
Association: Phoenix (Earth Restoration)
Element: Earth (Sometimes metal)
Ocuppation: Weapon expert and crafter, Traveler, artist, Novelist/poet
Dress: Pratt dose Not dress in typical Earth Nation Clothing He prefers bright patterned colors and silks.
Personality: Introverted by nature, sarcastic and ‘Matter of fact’ He’s known to give up a lot to unexpected people. Incredibly caring and devoted to his peers.
History: Pratt rarely speaks about his childhood or his past experiences but he dose like to tell story’s about his antics with his two late adopted brothers. He has explains that he and both brothers, Gidden and Lee were both left a banded. For some time the three boys would be fighting for their life’s trying to make ends meet. He would often talk about the silly things they would do in order to get food or anything else they needed however one days one of these tricks where taking a bit to far and the boys got caught trying to steal a meal. The end result is something Pratt really shutters to think about and often avoids talking about. His Older brother Gidden, as a way to defend himself ended up bending. This put more eyes on the boys than what they wanted. Lee of course would do the same, responding to the defense of his brother. Pratt at the time was just to fearful and kept himself hidden. He was the youngest of the three anyhow and wasn’t as well balanced yet with earth bending. Being fearful and almost powerless he watch both his brothers fight for their lives. Gidden basically sacrificed himself and Lee would eventually pass due to his injuries. Pratt ended up being alone after that, promising himself to get better at bending but find ways to hide the ability as much as possible. This is when he became nuts about reading, trying to find methods to do just that.

Six months to current events- A little girl named Sen- Sometime after returning to him home land after a month long tip through out the fire kingdom Pratt ran into a little girl who reminded him of how he was when he was a kid. A spunky and yet resilient little thing who was trying to find her way around. Sen formed a bond with Pratt and he secretly even showed her the ways of earth bending. Sen became his world and for a good year Pratt was the only person who really took care of her. She considered him to be a father figure to her. With this bond Pratt did want to adopt the girl. It was the girls wish, her final wish. Sen for some reason became incredibly ill. Pratt looked for anything at all that could help her, even confronting some unlikely places but nothing seemed to work. The only thing he could do was make sure the girl stayed comfortable. His last act to her was getting the approval to be her dad. He did and she was gone.
Currently Pratt is doing everything he can to distract himself from loosing her. If confronted, Pratt would seem distant and consumed in his art, writing, books and his wonder lust to travel.

“This world isn't going to take me out. It's tried, it failed. It'll try again, and it will fail again.”

Name: Raman Baner

Nickname: Rashabar

Position:
Scout/Spy

Association: Phoenix

Nation: Earth Kingdom (Si Wong Desert)

Bending Element:
Earth (Specialty: Sand and Seismic)

Appearance
Brown hair, tan skin and hazel eyes (often hidden by his goggled)
His build is athletic but not muscular and is mostly hidden by his lightweight, baggy clothes.

Personality:
He is a "watch and wait" kind of person, not quick to reveal all the cards in his hand. He has learned to read the room and, also, read people good enough that he may not even need his seismic sense to know someone is lying. He stays rather silent and unseen until he feels he has a decent enough read of the situation - at which point he inserts himself into the situation's very heart.
His trust is notably difficult to earn and even harder to lose once you have it. Most people haven't seen him angry, but that isn't to say that he doesn't get angry - he just hold it in until the right moment, choosing vengeance over wrath. Those that have seen him blow his top, however, will strongly advise you to avoid that side of him the best you can.

Goal(s):
  • To find his father, free him from wherever they are holding him, and bury the people that dared separate them in the first place.
  • When he dies, he wants to die on his own terms, with his own permission, and able to say that he lived every moment he was given.
Backstory:
Raman was born into the sand benders of the dessert. Even as a boy, all he knew was harsh winds and harsher suns. However, his parents taught him how to thrive, even in that barren place. It wasn't long until he discovered his ability to bend sand. In fact, he was able to bend and long before he ever moved a rock. It quickly became clear that he was a talented bender. His ability to feel the sand shift around him almost made it seem as though he could communicate with the sand itself. It wasn't long before his talents outgrew what the sand benders could teach and his parents took him into the city to find a master that could train him.

Under his master, he learned how to "communicate" with solid earth the same way he did with sand (his seismic sense). However, his style was unique. His bending wasn't strong and forceful like earthbending typically is. He was much more fluid in his motions and creative in his applications, much like sand itself.

Unfortunately, when the attacks on benders started, his skill caused him to stand out. And when they went to his house and didn't find him, they took his father instead. Leaving his mum in tears on the floor since she wasn't a bender herself. When Raman got home, he was paralyzed by the state of his house. But even worse, by the words of his mother. She blamed him for his father kidnapping and kicked him out of the house. That was the day the fun, free-spirited Raman died and the vengeful, dangerous Rashabar was born.

Name Palaong

Position: (commander? soldier? captive? etc.)
citizen sorta
Association: (Phoenix or Reorder? or neither)
Neither
Nation:
Earth kingdom
Bending Element:
Earth
Appearance
(ps the pic is his face sorry this is my first time doing something like that but the pic how I think of him basic but with normal earth stuff )
Personality: (at least one good paragraph)
He is a paradox wrapped in an enigma. Despite his young age, he possesses a depth of intellect that often surprises others. His sharp mind is paired with a biting wit and a healthy dose of sarcasm. He is a keen observer of human behavior, often picking up on subtle cues and unspoken emotions.

While outwardly appearing cold and aloof, paloang is fiercely loyal to those he considers friends. He has a strong sense of justice and a deep respect for tradition. However, due to the circumstances surrounding his parents' death, he tends to be distrustful of authority figures and harbors a healthy skepticism towards those in power.

Beneath his seemingly stoic facade lies a complex individual yearning for connection and understanding. He values genuine conversations and meaningful interactions over superficial relationships. He is also a firm believer in individual freedom and the importance of questioning the status quo.

Backstory: (at least two paragraphs)

He was orphaned at the tender age of five when his parents, Hades and Athena Black, were tragically killed by an unknown group of benders . He spent his childhood in a strict orphanage, where he learned to rely on his intelligence and wit to survive.Despite the hardships he faced, he never lost his curiosity and thirst for knowledge.

such as always trying to explore new subjects and teaching others about what he learns. And also by being a leader who tries his hardest to help those in need, but not doing so foolishly or helping people in vain. Depending on how rich or poor they are, factors into what they might owe him. He usually just asks them for information he thinks will be useful for his goals, which are: to find and destroy those who murdered his family and find somewhere he can call home

“They may have me locked away the ocean, but they haven't stopped the rain. Hope, like water, always finds a way.”

Name: Izumi (fountain, spring) "Izu"

Position: Captive

Association: N/A

Nation: Water Nation Lineage

Bending Element: Water; specializes in healing but does have skill with turning water to ice. Has no interest in bloodbending.

Appearance:

(Can't decide if she has brown hair or black hair)

1710296590392.png1710296639127.png

Personality:
Izumi is a calm individual despite being a prisoner of the Reorder. Her voice is naturally soft, akin to the gentle rush of a stream. She views her captors with pity as opposed to hate. She firmly believes they are misguided and need to be treated with care so that they may somehow, someday, realize that their predecessors have lived in harmony long ago, and that there is room for all of them to live peacefully now. Though she doesn't allow her emotions to get the best of her as much as she can, she is still human and can be angered. If angry, she will not resort to physical violence and prefers defensive action as opposed to offensive. She has a "diplomacy first" mindset. She is a very hopeful person in the face of adversity, adapting as best she can to her surroundings.

Goal(s):
  • Escape the High Prison of the Water Tribes.
  • Free her parents (and by extension, the rest of the oppressed water benders).
  • Join the Phoenix Restoration.
  • Free the other benders that are imprisoned.
  • Apprehend the Avatar and hopefully try to get through to her as opposed to killing her as so many appear to want to do.
  • Live life as her ancestors once did, only knowing such through the tales of her people.
Backstory:
  • Izumi was born in an oasis, both literal and metaphorical. The Oasis that she was born into was a small village of water benders that had escaped the initial attack and sought refuge far inland. It was a valley lake that remained due to runoff from snow in the mountains that surrounded it. It was here that the small community flourished, though they never forgot about what happened to them and how they were driven from their ancestral home.
  • When Izumi was born, the village had reason to rejoice. Every birth was a cause for celebration, and Izumi's was no different. She, like the other children, were symbols of hope that someday the world would go back to the way it used to be.
  • As she grew, she studied bending under the watchful gaze of the villagers, and soon found her calling; healing. She practice with the others regarding how to fight, but she got the most pleasure healing wounds, as few as they may have been.
  • The Oasis was found by the Reorder shortly after Izumi turned 12, and though the water benders fought back, they were vastly outnumbered and capture was relatively quick with little bloodshed on either side.
  • Since her capture, she has spent three years within the High Prison of the Water Tribes, and has been separated from her parents ever since (she learned this was an attempt to break her spirit). She steals any moment she can to practice the movements of her bending, because she is certain she will eventually be free.

“I sense your aura's all clouded out, hang in there I'll get my sitar."

Name:
Wanto

Position:
Civilian (acupuncturist, wannabe sitar player, 'life-coach')

Association:
Neither

Nation:
Fire

Bending Element:
Fire

Appearance
fx8u2npauaafbqy.png

Personality:
Too many people focus on the negativity in life, Wanto likes to appreciate the little things and not let the bad stuff weigh him down. He has his head mostly in the clouds (almost literally as he daily consults his copy of 'The Book Of Clouds'), he's offbeat, creative and startlingly naive. Of fire nation descent but that's just like, a label y'know; Wanto's never been able to bend but has a good time as an acupuncturist. He takes life with a laid back, half-lidded approach and wants nothing more than to play his sitar, gaze up at the stars and just have a mellow, chill time man.

At least he did...It's not the sort of personality that can survive a war.

Goal(s):
  • Find and rescue his adoptive mentor
  • Process and figure out just what exactly his mentor tried to tell him???
Backstory:
Wanto has no memories of his parents, the rise of the Reorder left many orphans in it's wake, but he was fortunate enough to spend his early years in a large foster care home run by folks who really embraced alternative lifestyle co-operative living. Lots of bad things were happening sure, but Wanto lived in a little corner of peace, showing no signs of bending the hunters thus showed no interest in him.

One person was interested in Wanto though. When he was old enough Wanto was adopted by a kindly, if stern, Dr Rhuzai. The old acupuncturist attempted to instill discipline into the young lad and train him as an apprentice in their remote village. As well as instructing him in the arts of unlocking needle chi-flow, Dr Rhuzai seemed obsessed with schooling Wanto in intense focusing and sharp breathing exercises that the young man never honestly saw the point of.

It was only years later it became clearer, in the dead of night a panicking Ruzhai burst into Wanto's room. The Reorder had tracked him down, the elderly Acupuncturist was really a Fire-Sage in hiding. The old man was trembling, saying there hadn't been enough time to train. That Wanto had the gift, he just never knew it.

"You can bend Wanto. You can save us." Shaking hands pressed a crumpled cloth into Wanto's palm as they heard their door splinter open. "You can Kill the Avatar." Only when they'd dragged Ruzhai away, in a house broken and empty, did Wanto unfurl the cloth and see a strange symbol he didn't recognize:
