Hello, good people of RPNation! Spectro here. A few months back, I made a thread asking if anybody would like for me to design them an avatar. I got a lot of replies, and they were all very creative! But since then, I have been backed up with requests and I have made a few avatars for people who have since been inactive on the site and my hard work has gone unseen. Obviously, this can be a little discouraging, and so, I have been quite inactive on the art front. But, I have been going back on old requests and completing them, and I've got my mojo back! Hooray! I'm going to be more organised about this now. As before, most of the requests got lost in old pm's. I have a notebook and everything especially saved for your beautiful ideas. Also, I'm going to be more honest. This experience has showed me the stressful side to art, and as much as I love it, sometimes, I can't draw you riding a magical giraffe from scratch. But I sure as hell will give it my best shot. Sometimes, I felt awkward about telling my requester (definitely a word) that I was unable to finish their avatar, or it would take me a little longer, but now I know that if I ignore the situation, it causes me lots of stress. I know all of you are lovely people, and you won't hate me if I take a little longer than estimated to complete my work. Right? Right.


So, if you have given me a request, think of it as forgotten, now, because I'm starting over again. If you are someone who has already requested something and would like to request the same thing, or another design, you are first priority. Think of this as a voucher! If you are new here, all you have to do is come up with a few things that you want me to design. The more detail, the more I can make your dreams come to life. You can either comment your ideas here, or on a message to me! I hope that no one is angry with me, and I just want to make the world a more creative place.


I'm not going to put a specific time limit on these avatars, but they shouldn't take too long. Here are some of the things you should know:


-I am open to any, and I mean any, style. Chibi, anime, pixel, portrait. Anything you can think of, I will give it my best shot!


-I require detail about what you would like unless, it's like, you know a table. In which case I will just need a colour scheme.


-Reference pictures help me to envision what the final product will be, so if you have some of those; great! If not, don't worry about it. Just make sure to give me extra detail in your explanation.


-Don't be afraid to get creative, I am just one, extra fab human being, but that doesn't mean I can give your ideas a go. Like I said, I'm going to be more honest, so if I can't get it done, I can't. But I'll still try, and I won't shout at you. Promise.


-Before you ask me to create you an avatar; make sure that you are going to be on the site frequently, and you haven't just created an account for that day and don't plan on visiting again. Imagine this; someone asks you to create something for them, and you do, and it takes you a lot of time and effort. You send that creativity back to whoever wanted it and they don't receive it. It's like going to someone's house, asking them to bake you cookies and then leaving immediately. So please, make sure that you will be active.

I'm requesting a table, for crying out loud. xD


You could... think of it as background practice, if you would like?


Some sort of outdoor patio setting (whether for a house or a restaurant) could be fine, but IDK, what were you thinking for a background?


Because... I really don't know about a color scheme. LOL


I was thinking natural colors, at least for the table (as meh as pine looks), and... it kind of depends on if you were thinking a pattern, a solid color or what for the background.

Yup. You might want to look at a few screenshots from the show of regular ponies to get a basic understanding of pony body language and how to draw their emotions. 'Cause I'm pretty sure nobody has told you to draw something from MLP before.
