Autre Academy, as you might've already figured out, isn't your average highschool. It's students, it's staff members, it's teachers... Every single one of them is different. How? They can make things happen. Extraordinary things.

They are gifted. Whether they can create a flame in the palm of their hand or make the earth quake around them, they can do things that normal people aren't capable of.

Since hundreds of students from around the world come to attend Autre Academy each year, housing is naturally very important. There are many dormitories scattered around campus (all resembling the one pictured above). Each room has two beds, two desks and two chairs, two dressers, one walk in closet, a mini-fridge, and a small bathroom. Roommates will be assigned based on students' interests and personalities. Just hope you don't get stuck with somehow who will try to kill you in your sleep!

One thing that makes Autre Academy unique is the fact that none of the students needs to take math, science, English, or any other subjects that are taught at normal schools (goodbye, trigonometry!). Instead, there's a list of six completely unique courses that students get to choose from! Each student much choose three classes, but be careful not to pick conflicting courses! There are two classes per period, so choose wisely!

~Autre Monde~

The Autre Monde, meaning "Other World" in French, is a place that appears to exist parallel to or partially in tandem with our own world. Though is not explicitly described as another dimension, it's definitely something similar. Like Heaven or Hell; they not necessarily "other dimensions", but they are places that mortal beings cannot not reach. The only difference between Heaven/Hell and the Autre Monde is that the Autre Monde can be reached...in a sense.


Have you heard of or seen those ghost hunting shows? You know, the ones where there's some guy (or guys) who lock themselves in a supposedly "haunted" location and stay overnight to catch evidence of paranormal activity?


That's not just a bunch of bull. In those particular locations, the Autre Monde is particularly strong...strong enough to allow beings know as Entities manifest themselves. "Haunted" locations are the gateways between the Autre Monde and our world. Usually, these locations are places where many people died (usually in a gruesome fashion). All of that spiritual energy is what the Entities feed off of, and that is what allows them to make themselves known.

Entities are the beings of the Autre Monde. They are soulless, emotionless, ghost-like creatures who know nothing aside from their need for power. Like moths are drawn to light, Entities are drawn to power (which is usually why they "cluster" together in areas that are deemed haunted). The students of Autre are all very powerful, so they shine like beacons to the Entities in the Autre Monde. If they are given the opportunity, these Entities will literally suck all of the power out of a student. This is why the academy was first created: to teach students how to defend themselves from these creatures and prevent them from growing strong enough to tear rifts between both of the worlds.
