Name: Arc
Sex: male
Race: ironshell
Age: 109
Appearance: about 8 foot tall covered in a metallic shell that seems like black metal both his claws have lighting markings on them for some reason each of his eyes are a monochrome yellow additional smaller arms on his stomach allow fine minipulation of object so he is no completely clumsy or uncouardnated

Personality: as with most iornsells arc is a bullhead preferring to take a problem head on... although every once and a while he has a abstract thought like diplomacy or going around a problem, he has a dismissive is understanding nature toward others as he understand that while he is physical powerfull it is not everything. But it is very very useful

Backstory: arc would be considered a “intellectual” among ironshell he asked the big question like “why eat everything when we can leave some so we come back later and there is more” or “maybe hide instead of looking odiously like we are going to eat them” of course this big question hurt everyone else brains, arc would often have to settle these disputes with brutal force although no one ever came around to his way of thinking, imposing self exile leaving there grand moving city for the land, this didn’t exactly go well as many town or place simply ran form him or attempted to kill him on sight for a few years arc wondered around until one day, he came across a old Druid who was more then happy to allow the ironshell to stay of course for the purposes of study and keeping away annoying intruders, in return he taught arc some basic magic he the ironshell only really picked up on the lighting aspect of thing before the old Druid died of a heart attack some years later, once again arc is left to wonder the world only time shall tell this beasts fate.

Character Sheet

Name: Siolta

Race: Marsher

Sex: Male

Age: 25

Occupation: Monk

Appearance:
Siolta is a 5 feet tall bright green marsher, but much wider than a human and with smooth skin dotted with imperfections. He has short arms and legs a bit longer, but he is very stocky, even for marshers. He has big yellow eyes, a big green mouth and red spots along the edges of his frog-ish skull, almost making up for the lack of hair. He bears a brown monk robe, alike that of the thai monks with one shoulder uncovered. He wears a rope that is tied across his body from right shoulder to the left of his waist, where on the back a giant light-brown-ish bottle gourd is bound the rope, carrying 6 gallons of water in it. On the rope he has a small pouch to the left of his waist. He carries a small woven basket with the contents for making green tea (kettle, cups, sugar and so on).

Backstory:
Siolta comes from a small fishing village, one of the few remaining, in The Shallows. His childhood withstood of fishing and hunting without any real luxuries, as the marshers don’t have any trade-routes set up, nor a lot of resources. As is traditional in marsher culture, Siolta didn’t have a close bond with either of his parents during his childhood. Siolta remained in the village until he was involved in a hunting accident, which resulted in one of his close friends getting killed. Siolta isolated himself after incident, blaming himself for not being more aware. This let him to train his “watersense”, an ability attained by training water wild magic, that allows you to sense movement within water, one which the best marsher hunters rely on. Using his freetime on nothing but training his watersense, to the point of completely isolating himself from anyone when not hunting, he became very proficient in water magic and hunting with a spear, putting him in the spot as the best hunter in his village.

Despite the praise from other hunters and his undeniable skill, Siolta remained unappeased about his ability. Now having found somewhat peace with himself, he continued training in hunting for a couple years with very little progress, until he decided to seek out a mentor and try to find peace with himself. He traveled through Terra Aestas along rivers, encountering the cities surrounding them, asking for guidance from townsfolk, with no results. One day, he encountered a temple besides the river and the rest is history.

Siolta has now trained in the temple for a couple of years and has improved his water magic so much as to be able to bend water use it as a weapon, even more so than his spear, as he is capable of cooling it to ice when needed.

Personality:
Serious when the situation calls for it, but normally pretty amiable, as his monk years have lightened him up significantly. Still, he’s alert to a point of paranoia when in an environment he isn’t used to and can be found clutching his spear out of reflex. Courageous and confident if needed, but otherwise pretty timid and avoidant of confrontation.

Skills:
Spear use
Siolta is proficient with a spear and can hold his own with one in terms of combat. He is very precise when attacking, but lacks in blocking and generally relies on dodging attacks when fighting with a spear. He has a hard time using any spear that isn’t extremely light-weight like the traditional bone one he has brought with him from his village.

Water Magic
Siolta can move, propel and change the temperature of water. He can heat it to a little below boiling temperature and cool it to 0 degrees celsius. He can’t make water appear and carries around a giant calabash bottle gourd filled with approximately 6 gallons (23 litres) of water which he uses when needed. He typically uses water in combination with martial arts, often using the water as an extension of his hands, propelling it like a fist in front of and around his arms and hands. If intent is lethal and his opponent isn’t armored he will cool the water to ice after he’s propelled it, effectively firing bolts of ice at his opponent.

Hand-to-Hand combat
Siolta is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, or rather water-to-hand combat, as it is a required skill when taught how to waterbend in the way of the flowing fist. He knows an equivalent to taekwondo, with focus on attacking and avoiding attacks.

Frog-ish
As a marsher, Siolta is capable of leaping roughly 30 ft (9 meters) in lengtht and 20 ft (6 meters) in height. He is also capable of swimming about 12 mph (19 kph). His build is very stocky, leading him to be much more durable than the average human.

Allies:
Kurt Angler, a fisherman whom Siolta met and made friends with while fishing on his way to the temple. He is located along the riverside in one of the bigger cities and runs the biggest fishing business in town. The two of them collaborated and Kurt developed a very weak watersense after some training with Siolta.

Aris, one of Siolta’s only real friends from his village, during his time training. Alis would participate in nearly every hunt Siolta went on, typically just admiring him, but he also was one of the people to encourage Siolta to travel in an attempt to find a deeper meaning with life and a mentor to teach him waterbending.

Albert Onchovi, one of the monks to tutor Siolta and a great friend to him. Albert taught Siolta how to propel and manipulate water when not in water. He’s a great believer in new talent and can be found in towns near the temple, trying to find a potential student, typically inviting them for green tea if successful.

Enemies:
Loro, the previous ‘best’ hunter in Siolta’s marsher village. He dislikes watersense and uses it sparingly, while instead being incredibly good at spotting movements with his eyes. He is arguably better with a spear than Siolta, and is annoyed that Siolta took the spotlight from him for couple of years.

Carl Cornell, a human monk which Albert taught before Siolta, but stopped mentoring, as Siolta had more potential. He is angry at Siolta for ruining the bond between him and Albert, despite accepting that Siolta was a more skilled waterbender.

Nim Alder, a human thief who attempted to pickpocket Siolta, which resulted in Siolta exposing him in front of the guards, leading to him being arrested and punished, leading to him losing all land which resulted in his family having to live under very poor conditions. He is determined to get his revenge if he ever meets Siolta again.

Name: Yugo nikitia
Sex: F
Race: Human
Age: 18
Appearance: a relatively short 5'8" Yugo has brown long flowing straight hair with a big white and rose red bow near the rear of the head but makes it still visible from the front. Her eyes are a nice hazel brown and her skin a fair pale white but not as extreme as pure white so there is a tad of color that is visible. Her nails are always painted a deep dark red color for reasons known later and her chest slightly more than just flat so it is noticeable to see a small firm mound but nothing more. Her clothing is composed of casual wear ( mostly one of those Japanese sailor uniforms of blue and white normally for the cute aesthetic) and for battle mostly flexible tight leather armor with bracers and greaves to evade and maneuver attacks quickly and effectively.
Personality: she is very sweet kind and in most cases as seen by many crazy but is well known as a yandere.
Backstory: Born in a small village, Yugo has a Small family consisting of her mother, father and brother. While she was a child in the market stalls a band of bandits have came to raid her village plundering and raping everyone and killing everything in sight before her eyes. For most traumatized people it would make them go in shock but for her this flightiness gave her a sense of mania. She couldn't think of anything more but to kill and kill. Grabbing a nearby knife 🔪 she found a lone bandit already busy with a widow and stabbed him to death and laughed. The blood sensation felt good to her and she couldn't stop the urge for more, despite saving the widow from a trauma she came to a terrible end as Yugo turned on her own villagers. She didn't care who it was by then the village was ablaze and anyone with a heart beat was subject to her mania induced killing spree. But when the bandits left she did as well secretly killing one by one every night until all were dead and about a month later from the incident came a new girl... a new woman ... one that was not the same as the happy innocent girl that was there before. Covered in blood she entered her village only to be cast away to the outlands for her sins of murder. Her family was generous enough to teach her who are her friends and who are her enemies and even though she was not allowed to see her family again they gave her one last parting token to remember her family and that is a very durable sharp steel knife ( with holster). Now sent out for the wild adventures she seeks to continue her rampage and one day find someone she will love and protect just like her family. :)

( oh yea sorry to mention it but sorry if it is intense. I tend to go over the top on intense things hahah 😅😅)
