Ulva sat on Yula back as they flew over the clear blue ocean. It was a clear sunny day but still relatively chilly though comparatively warm with what Ulva was used to. They have been traveling for best part of a week now but had not clear way to go. She had to leave the northern water tribe in such short notice that she had no plan and it would havr killed her if not for Yula. She sighed at the thought, all the life she had was gone with everything she had beyond a few water tribe money, a water skin of bending water and the clothes she wore. She didnt know what she could with herself. "I guess we should be coming up to the earth Kingdom soon..." She spoke finally to Yula, not liking her trail of thought.

Yula sniffed the air and beat her wing a bit faster. She was right, they were coming towards the earth kingdom. She could tell by the scent of the miles of dirt the lay out before them. Yula could sense the unease of her companion, and her wing muscles were starting to tire from the constant flying. She glanced up at Ulva, though it was hard to do, considering their position, but she could just make out her chest-fallen expression. She let out a concerned grunt, wanting to let her know that she was descending. She started gliding closer towards the water, her paws gracing the surface before slowly starting to lower herself in. She then quit flying altogether, tucking her wings in and started swimming, already feeling much more rested and cool. She had made sure that her water landing didn't get Ulva wet, as her back and shoulder muscles were huge, staying out of the ocean as she swam, the water only coming up to her chin. She wondered why Ulva was acting this way, but then figured that it was probably homesickness. She had it too. But she wasn't sad about it anymore; she had a loving human to take care of and to travel with, and she would go along with whatever she wanted. And if that meant leaving her home in the arctic and traveling to the dirt and rock-filled Earth kingdom, then so be it. She tried to communicate to her, though, as always, it was hard to understand.

Ulva held on to Yula tightly as the began to land, still not really used to flight especially as was no fan of heights. Still she was glad to be on the water, moving with the currents hearing the oceans sounds and smelling the see. She moved her hands in a elaborated motion before raising them bring up a chuck of ice big enough for Yula to rest on. "It wont last long in this weather but It should give you a chance to rest."She said sliding of Yula on to the ice and ran her hand gently through Yula's fur forcing a smile. She had heard Yula's voice earlier barely making it her meaning but didn't answer immidiately not knowing the answer."Well we need supplies so reaching a village is a must either way."

Yula was somewhat startled by the sudden ice under her paws, but she recovered quickly and slumped down on it, secretly relieved to have a proper resting spot. And one that was made of ice to boot! She nodded while letting out a satisfied grunt, quickly adding her own layer of ice around the chunk so it would last a bit longer. She then stretched out in front of her and let out a yawn, scratching behind her ear with a fore paw. She watched as Ulva stared out at the space around them, taking in everything. She shook out her wings, trying to get blood to flow through them again, before tucking her paws underneath her furry chest and continuing to watch her human. She breathed loudly in response to the last thing she said, nodding in agreement. Though she knew she could hunt food for the both of them, she knew humans required more things than she did, though as to why she wasn't so sure. Being a young cub, she still didn't quite know how humans worked; she didn't understand wars, or uprisings, or conflicts, or revolutions, even simple things such as the need for clothing. She didn't even fully understand why she needed to wear her heavy saddle. Luckily, she did understand hygiene, as she took great pride in keeping herself clean. Suddenly, she stomach growled loudly, and she realized that she was, in fact, hungry, not having eaten in quite a while. Two days to be exact.

AMITA

Soaring high in the sky, Amita enjoyed the view of various islands from above. Her glider flew and turned from right to left, over and under, around and around as she gazed at nature and even people usually doing what they do everyday. It was really a hobby of her other than spending some time wuth the children of the Eastern Air Temple. During her flight, she passed through the icy waters between the water tribe and earth kingdom boundary. Feeling the ice gave her the chills as the airbender outfit was really not fit for the cold. Her body jerked with the sensation of ice until she noticed something unusual. A girl and her polarleopard were standing on top of a huge piece of ice. Gazing at the two from above,
Amita wondered what they were up to.

Hikaru's eyes quickly scanned over the list of supplies that his uncle had written. If he was lucky, he would be able to carry the supplies by himself back to the tent. Placing the list away in a pouch that hung around his waist, he began to tour all the shops. Unlike most of the people who strolled brisk fully, he walked in a slow pace. Being careful not to trip over anything such as stones, pebbles, uneven ground of his own feet. He had managed to get through the day without tripping, if he could only extend it to this trip as well. Well, best of luck.

Yula's ears twitched upward, hearing a sound from above. She glanced upwards and saw a human gliding through the air with a stick and artificial wings. This puzzled Yula, at the person seemed to be flying without the usual up and down wing motion. She let out a small growl to let Ulva know about the strange human in the sky.

"I guess we have plan than."Ulva said turning to her companion seeing her sprawled in the ice and smirked, she really must have been tired from the flight. Ulva felt guilty making her work so hard, it was hard to think of Yula as just a pub and treat her accordingly. She sat be her and stroked Yula's mane and felt her stomach growl. "Excuse you, buddy." She said chuckling. "But my feelings exactly, I suppose we can figure a way to fish if you eat such,.."She was stopped mid sentence when Yula turned her head to the sky pointing at the flying person. "Wow, never thought I would see an air bender in my life time. For your information, Yula, thats a human who like how I bend water they bend the air."

Yula contempted what she was told, but she was still cautious of the air-bending human above, who seemed to have spotted them as well. Snorting, she stood up and shook out her fur. She the unsheathed a claw and started drawing in the ice. It looked like a fish. She then gestures to the ocean before drawing attention to the saddle she wore, trying to pull off one of the straps as a sign that she wanted it off.

Ulva was distracted by the air nomad at first waving at her before noting Yula's want to go fish."Huh... Oh right, yes of course. "She moved by Yula and removed the straps of the saddle and pulling it off Yula. "Have fun."

Letting out a quick purr, Yula shook out her fur again, liking the feeling of fresh air through her back fur, before taking off into the sky. She kept her eye on the air bender as she flew diagonally, covering a little distance before suddenly dropping. She dived straight down from the air, her wings pressed tight against her body and her tail adding an extra twirl before entering with a graceful splash into the cold sea. A few moments later, she reappears with three medium sized fish in her mouth, swimming back to the big iceberg and dropping off her catch. She then leaves again, dropping her head back into the water and disappearing. It takes a bit longer, but she comes back with a mouth full of smaller fishes, which she also brings back, this time climbing back up as well. She drops her newest catch and is about to shake out her fur, but stops mid-shake when she hears a sharp shriek and sees Ulva try to protect herself from the oncoming shower and pauses. Yula tilts her head in confusion, but then realizes she probably wouldn't want to get wet, so instead starts grooming casually. She knew this processes of drying would take much longer, but she didn't want her human to get soaked, despite the fact that she is a water bender.

Ulva watched Yula diva, she never expected something like this from a creature this big, she hadn't seen am animal like Yula period. She was nothing like normal polar leopards and she wouldn't have it any other way. When Yula stepped back on the ice, Ulva chucked when water was sprayed on her, even shrieking with surprise. "Oh I am going to make you pay for that... Soon." She said wiping the water off.

Seeing that the girl and the Polarleopard saw her, Amita smiled and waved a bit at the two before Yula dived into the water and begun to catch tons of fishes. The girl watched and was amazed at how good Yula was in catching fishes. It made her think that whoever its owner is must be very lucky to have her. "Wow!!! Your Polarleopard is good!" she complimented from above as she prepared to soar down to join Ulva on the ice. Once she landed, she closed her glider and put it behind her back, letting it hang. After doing so, she smiled at Ulva for a while before saying "She's not gonna bite me, is she?" pertaining to the polarleopard.

Ears pricked, Yula looked up from her grooming at the young air nomad. Now that she was closer, she could sense her spiritual energy better, and that calmed her down, previous hostility diminishing. Although, she was slightly annoyed, being seen as a Polar Leopard, rather than a Polarleopard. True, Polar Leopards were very rare themselves, being rarely seen by humans due to keeping themselves isolated. But there was enough information on them to know that all "normal" Polar Leopards had six legs, no wings, and lots of small spots. Yula had none of that, plus more. Not to mention abnormal intelligence. Despite that, Yula accepted the complement and nodded her broad head in thanks, and after an OK from Ulva, lowered it to allow the young nomad to pet her, despite still being slightly wet and hungry.

<<This girl's spiritual energy is strong, almost as strong as Ulva's. She also smells, and dresses differently from the humans at the South Pole. While Ulva wears the fur and skin of dead animals and smells of the sea, this girl wears a strange, free flowing cloth and smells of trees and fresh air. Hmm, perhaps humans are just as diverse as animals are, making their dens in distinct areas and living differently from other types of humans. This is just a theory from what I can gather of course. Maybe traveling to this so called "Earth Kingdom" will help to prove it true.>>

Ching Lee Fu was at it again. His hair a big black cloud over his head, yelling out the words he always yelled before a match started.

"WELCOME TO THE FOWLING ARENA!" He yelled as he stomped the floor, making small boulders appear around him as he rose on the circular platform, the small crowd cheering around him. Miyuki sighed, annoyed, as she wrapped her hands in bands to help numb the punches she was about to make.

"NEXT! IT'S THE SOLO VERSUS... KEN-TAKE!" Habitually, Miyuki put her hair into a ponytail, and then wrapped in again into a tight bun, securing under it under her dark green hood. She opened the small curtain to reveal a loud and active crowd, raising money, throwing coins, screaming out who they think would win this match. Fu patted her on the back.

"You got this Miyuki." He was the only one that knew. She looked up to see her opponent. Not surprisingly, she had never seen him around. Many of the fighters were part of other cities, coming here only for trade. And this was one of those illegal arenas that kept this place hopping with young men. She studied him as she ducked into the small fighting arena. She heard the curtains behind her close. As they walked towards each other to shake hands, the boy roughly said, "You're going down boy." Miyuki smiled. Oh, I don't think so.

Well, Hikaru had better luck other days. He was currently on his third trip to the stores buying the supplies which were quite heavy. Sighing as he carried a bag heading towards the next vendor. Joining a circus was much harder than he thought, but it was a small price to pay to be able to travel. Despite the hard work, he didn't regret his decision one bit. He had seen so much and wanted more. Along the way, he was able to see some rather cool creatures and people. Who knows what he'll see next? Maybe, he would lucky enough to see a rare animal. Now, that would be a sight to see. Filled with happy thoughts, the weight against his arm felt less bothersome as he stopped to purchase some more supplies.

They began to circle each other, much like tigers eyeing their prey. Of course, she let her opponent swing first. His hand going near her gut, she swung swiftly to her left, swinging at his torso, where it was exposed from his attempted strike. He doubled over, but sometimes if was a ploy. These fighters were good at that. Miyuki watched him warily, and blocked his sudden swing to her head, missing her nose by inches. That was too close. She moved her foot behind him and as he stumbled to keep his firm stance, she got him in a firm grip and shoved him into the floor. The crowd cheered, and he struggled against her grip, uselessly. Time was already up. They shook hands again, and Miyuki resisted the urge to scream as the guy attempted to break his wrist in the few second he had his hand in hers.

"AND KEN-TAKE TAKES ANOTHER WIN!" Fu yelled, beaming down at her. As he cleared out, someone who clearly didn't belong in this type of place entered through the curtain, a look of anger on her face.

Miyuki's eyes widened, and Fu nodded at her as she sprinted towards the curtain and out into the sunlight before anyone could see what all the commotion was about. Before everyone turned to hear a woman's voice--

"Miyuki! Your shift started an hour ago! You can't pretend you're going to be doing this for the rest of your life. Get your head out of the clouds and... why are you dressed like a boy?" Miyuki had unsuccessfully tried to take off her hood and then loosen her thick hair out.

"Eheheh." She finally got her band out, and her hair flowed across her shoulders. She had already taken off her bands around her hands. Miyuki looked at her mother, and saw the disappointment in her eyes that made her want to crawl under a rock and stay there. She sighed and mumbled her apologies as her mother continued to lecture her. Another day of fishtopia then.

Ulva watched the air nomad land and nodded a greeting and chuckled. "She is really something is and no she doesnt. Also in truth Yula is not "my" polarleopard, she is her own girl and doesn't let me forget it. I some times wonder who is the actual pet." She chuckled and bowed her head at the air nomad "I am Ulva by the way."

Amita pet Yula after the girl told her that she was friendly. She had that look which says "you're such a cutie pie" on her face while she made an interaction with Yula. The air nomad can sense that the girl and Yula had some powerful connection. Too bad she didn't have a pet of her own. She wondered why? Seeing her two companions right now somehow made her jealous. Just then, the girl introduced herself as Ulva. She smiled in reply, "Nice to meet 'ya Ulva and of course Yula", as she pet her once again. "My name is Amita from the Eastern Air Temple. Hmm... So where you guys headed? Having troubles or something?", she asked.

Shio Azale

He was fresh on the trail of a new target, a thief by the name of Kanan, or the green bandit. The thief had been seen swiping a few bits and pieces of jewelry, as well as pickpocketing high profile individuals in some earth kingdom village. The kid sort of reminded Shio of the kind of person he was a few years ago. It was important that Shio found the thief and turned him in, before the kid delved any deeper in to that sort of life style. It was why he took criminals like these so seriously, he did not want them to get too far in that career choice and not be able to back out.

Luckily, the bandit left a piece of fabric of his at one of his crime scenes. Something that is useless to most, is especially valuable to him. His pet Shirshu, or Sansen, had a nose strong enough to follow a scent across the globe. It was an especially useful skill to have for a bounty hunter like him. He had been traversing around the Earth Kingdom for awhile now, in search of that bandit. It seemed like to trail was drawing to an end when they began approaching a small earth kingdom village. Shio grimaced at the village from a distance. He hated places like these, they usually smelled like crap and the residents were all either farmers or merchants. It was not nearly as industrialized as the huge cities he knew of in the fire nation. It lacked organization, it lacked aesthetics.

He road on top of his Shirshu through the streets of the village. The beast had its nostrils pressed against the ground, sniffing frantically for their target. Shio felt a few stares at his back, but he did not let them bother him. That was when his Shirshu stopped abruptly, lifting its head from the ground, as he faced a man clad in green cloth, with his face partially covered. Silently, Shio pulled out a thin metal needle out of the quiver that sat at his side, bringing it to Sansen's mouth. The needle had a fletching and a nock, but lacked a head. The beast licked the tip of the needle, coating it in a viscous liquid. Shirshu saliva contained a paralyzing agent, an especially useful tool for hauling criminals back to the capital.

He hated to have to try and capture the bandit here, but if the man turned around and saw him on his pet, he would flee immediately. Shio unstrapped his bow from his back, and drew the string. He placed the fletched needle onto the string and aimed at the bandit's right leg. With a snap, the string was released and the arrow flew through the air, drawing closer and closer to its target.

But it missed its mark.

The arrow splashed in to the wooden stall that was a few centimeters away from the bandits leg, scattering flakes of wood. The bandit spun around and met eyes with Shio. The panic was evident, as the bandit then sprinted off through the crowd.

Failure.

Shio wiped the beads of sweat from his forehead. It was impossible to chase him on the back of his animal through a crowd like this without injuring anyone. Now, he had to wait and hope that the bandit did not end up leaving this sad little town before he could start up the trail again.

Yagari's eyes scanned the dingy tea shop that he rested at. Men and women were seated, chatting about all the pointless topics one could think of. The place was deplorable, the wooden floors creaked whenever one stepped foot on it. The walls were drab stained brown muddled with year's worth of whatever was thrown there. Sipping the tea, he ignored the disgusting taste of it as his mind continued to think of the situation at hand. Given a choice, he wouldn't have rested here but it was better than on the streets. Although he could defend himself quite well, he didn't want to risk being found. Which place is better to hide than a crowded one where he could blend into? Besides, he didn't want to come across any bounty hunters in case someone wanted his head.

The smell of rotten tea, food and whatever else that was kept on surrounding him as he continued to remind himself why he was here in the first place. Some days ago, he had been hired to "take care" or someone. As he was promised a decent sum of money, he started his journey shortly afterwards. For 3 days, he had been traveling, keeping a low profile. Passing through several towns and villages along the way that smelt just as bad as this place. Even worse were the people he came across, then again, he never liked people. It was amusing to say the least, they willing accepted leadership from a king who wasn't even aware of them.

Finishing his tea, he placed his cup down on the table. His eyes back to scanning the place, observing people silently. As much as he wanted to leave the place, he would have to wait.

Yula was satisfied with the politeness of the Air bender, and since the two were getting along well, all defensive thoughts vanished and she slumped back down onto the ice. While the two were conversing, she grabbed one of the larger fish, the size of her neck spot, and hastily gulped it down. She then scooped the pile of small fishes with a giant paw and started eating them one by one, leaving Ulva with two big fish left. The meal wasn't nearly enough to make the huge Polarleopard full, but it would hold her for at least until evening. When she was done, she did something curious: she gathered the remaining bones of the fish, bowed her head towards it, and then, to the disbelief of the airbender, covered the remains in ice that spewed from her mouth, sealing the bones in the ice so that they were now one with the iceberg. Sweeping her tail over the little ice-covered pile, Yula then proceeded to groom herself once again, this time going over her long, feathery wings. She kept her ears pricked for potential dangers or anything else, but didn't focus on what was being discussed. She did however, wonder how long they would be there in the back of her mind.

AMITA

Asking Ulva if they were having trouble, Amita learned that due to some reason, her companions right now needed to go to the nearest city. The air nomad can sense that they had an unfortunate past and they are definitely lost and in need of assistance right now. "Hm... Nearest city huh?, she wondered as she put her left hand below her chin while thinking. "Well there's the Eastern Air Temple where I'm from but... I guess the Earth Kingdom would be more perfect for you since well... You can see a lot of things in the Earth Kingdom." , she suggested. Amita thought that Ulva and Yula needed a place which has a lof of jobs, merchandise, and any other things that Air Nomads don't have in the Air Temple due to their different way of living. "I can take you there if you want", , she volunteered with a smile until she noticed Yula who seemed like she was burrying the remains of the fish she just ate. "Haha. Yula here looks like she's already full and ready to go!", she grinned with her hands on her waist.

"Should we get going? It is a little chilly."
, the girl said hinting that she was not used to this kind of cold.
