In an effort to reverse the apocalypse that ended civilizations across the world, six soldiers with special talent and abilities are sent 4,000 years into the past to learn about the fall of the previous civilization and prevent the advent doom of Terra. Wielding the power of three Syntheticas and three anomalies born from the phenomena of the world, failure to avert the course of history will lead to the eventual destruction of the world.

Leonhardt is a warrior of lustrous charisma, leading his soldiers into the battlefield without fear or regret, always exhibiting his glamorous stature over those that are underneath his shadow. Like the ideal commander of the strongest known division in the military of his kingdom, Sir Leonhardt von Sabreynth proudly displays his achievements with his charismatic soul, as expected from the Crest of Sabreynth.

The blonde Imperial Slayer wields a compelling battle ax that is infused with his natural affinity, ice. With it, he wields his ego alongside his weapon and cast spells powerful enough to decimate mid-tier beasts with ease, using the enchanted grimoire that he mainly uses as his catalyst for powerful elemental magic. Because of his odd combo of knight and mage, he is widely regarded as a "Magical Knight", a title that is special to only those who are proficient in physical combat and magic.

Cosette is a practitioner of water manipulation, as well as that of the blade and first aid. The water imbued within her blade, depending on the situation, may be used to provide healing effects or elemental damage to the persons involved, but never both at once, as combining the effects would become dangerous to its user. As a result of her proficiency in skill, her assets have been put to use as a supporting role for her Slayer comrades who may have trouble holding the frontline.

She is also the younger sister of Leonhardt, who, much unlike her brother, is rather impassive about her work. When her witty banter is not at play, her demeanor becomes cold and placid, which is especially seen when she puts herself to work.

A frightening figure of Arcrestia, known for her crimson reign over the southern domains under her rulership. She is frequently recognized as the "Bloodstained Princess" because of her history as a brutal militarist, leading her soldiers with an iron fist. Unlike her siblings who hold control over the other three regions of Arcrestia, she is the sole warmonger constantly at war against the nation of Ashtaroth, a feudal country of demons ruled by their oligarchy.

Atelius is infamous for creating and maintaining the Imperial Slayers Regiment as its monarch, formed for the purpose of destroying the forces of Ashtaroth and their soldiers. With Crest of Sabreynth and its supporters funding the regiment and Princess Atelius' ideals, she continues to wage conflict with the sole objective of eradicating all demon life from Dragnyr.

One of the four legion commanders in the Imperial Slayers Regiment, serving under Atelius Evernight as her retainer and advisor. Known for his chivalrous demeanor and adventurous mindset, Georg von Alteras is well respected within his battalion for his gallantry and excellent performance.

There seems to be an obscure aura surrounding him. Additionally, his age is ambigious despite his youthful appearance, further adding onto his perplexing persona.

The esteemed heir and successor to the throne of the eastmost nation, Kurohagane, Kazuo is a samurai whose reputation precedes him, as his cockiness comes to fruition upon first meeting him. However, in terms of physical and magical prowess, his smug attitude is not unwarranted, for he executes his chthonic-somatic practices with flawless precision, especially within close range.

Kazuo currently resides in the Imperial Palace of Arcrestia as a special guest, who awaits his political marriage with Lady Atelius. Under her orders, he comes an honorary captain of the Slayers Regiment to assist Arcrestia in their efforts to squash Ashtaroth. The battle between the two nations gives him a further incentive to extend his stay, as Kurohagane and Ashtaroth have been enemy nations for as long as one could remember—and continue to remain as such, giving Kazuo an opportunity to pulverize his long-term nemeses.
