Ashes of Creation
The year is 4121, GST, and the universe is in a state of disarray. The plethora of species that make up this existence have been plagued with constant fighting among each other, leading to a lack of coherence and organization between the different races. No unifying body unites these nations in any way, nor does on exist to oversee that basic rights are being conducted in battle, leading to man instances of attempted genocide, and many other wartime atrocities. To further the issue, new foreign nations are discovered seemingly by the galactic year, causing further conflict and mistrust among foreign peoples. It is these disagreements that will create challenges for the peoples of this existence, as even now, dark and ancient forces lurk in the deep, black void of space, begging for a power hungry mortal to swoop down and awaken it.
In this universe, war is far from scarce. Safe trade routes are all but nonexistent between nations either due to sour relations or to rampant pirate raids. Fleets clash above planets and valuable asteroid fields, armies storm into cities and across plains yearning for blood, and corrupt politicians carefully set the field for war and profit.
All of this falls down upon you. The lone travelers, the bounty hunters and thieves, maniacs and heroes, political leaders and rebels, to settle the politics of your universe. To bind together and unite against that which is more powerful beyond anything of your comprehension. For once these strange, powerful presences awake, none will be able to stand alone against their might.
This is a casual free roam sci-fi based roleplay. Me and a friend are running it and all of the actual credit goes to him.
It's a create your own species, faction, and character type RP without too many limitations on creation. Generally massive OP things are not allowed and that's about it as far as I can tell.
Anyways it's a pretty fun thing to join and collaborate with people on. It's got a bit of an overarching plot but otherwise you can do your own thing. So yea check it out.
