Description: A tanned-skinned very average looking man standing at a noticeable height of six foot one inch, weighing in at around two hundred pounds of extensively trained and practiced muscle. With a pair of intense grey eyes and a head of healthy auburn hair cut down into a fairly mundane and tame hair style at only about an inch in length along with a rather smooth looking face, dusted with a light beard as well as an oddly soothing deep voice that simply cruises through words with it's very obvious British influence. His very lean, athletic looking body is often covered by clothing, save for his fore-arms, leaving many to see him as an average looking joe and doubt his physical capabilities.

Attire: Ashley wears a simple blue-ish grey hoodie on his top half with a shemagh scarf of a lighter grey around his neck as well as a pair of common roughed up denim jeans and a riggers belt along with a pair of brown lowa boots and knee pads to protect his feet and knees. [x|x]. In addition to his clothing he has a plate carrier, a helmet and a pair of hard knuckle gloves which he has kept with him since the start [x]

Stuff: Kept in his pocket are two photos tapped back to back [Front|Back].

~In-Depth~

Alignment: Lawful Neutral (Once upon a time Lawful Good)

Personality: Ashley is a very simple man when you come to understand his train of thought, albeit harsh but very straight forward. When he does something it's usually for a reason, rarely acting out purely from impulse and in the times that he does it's terrible for himself and others. He keeps a lot of his problems to himself, though he isn't incapable of making conversation with others. Ashley doesn't like having to wait for people and will often voice himself with not much regard for what others think.

Likes: Medical sciences, Regularly exercising, Drawing and Dancing, Solid conversation, Group activities.

Dislikes: Poor motivation and fitness, Excessive amounts of unhealthy foods, Fat Kids, Being nagged.

Skills: Application of medicines and aids, Cardiovascular and Physical Conditioning, Close Quarter Engagements (Entailing both firearms and melee. Though not limit to it), Outdoorsman-ship.

Habits/Quirks: Quietly talking to himself, Stopping mid sentence for no real reason.

Fears: Not being able to save people, Catfish (Yes the animal), Becoming paralysed.

(A younger Ashley back on the pipeline)

Born and raised in Victoria Ashley had a rather uneventful early life, living with a single mother who looked after both him and his brother. Having lost his father early on, Ash was pretty adamant about following in the mans footsteps just as his older brother was. His mother had them move to Hawaii after she caught a break and a new job that required relocation, Ashley had no real say in the matter and reluctantly went along. Having been a cadet in Hong Kong it was natural that he joined the scouts and JROTC almost as soon as he got there, his grades in school were pretty satisfactory so his mum didn't see much of a problem with him indulging himself those extracurricular activities, though she did shove him into gymnastics, dance and book club.

Once he had turned seventeen Ashley had nothing but a desire to join up, he enlisted into the Air Force looking to 'be all he could be' as the adverts said, he took a plane to the US and joined the Air Force to become a USAF PJ (Pararescueman) like his older brother, after a two year pipeline Ash became just that. He served in both Afghanistan and Iraq in a Combat Search & Rescue capacity as well as often being attached to SOF in times of need, at some point during his service he found the time to acquaint himself with a Hawaii girl who had moved to the mainland to study, the two clicked sort of quickly. After a considerable amount of time in service and some contemplation about becoming a Combat Rescue Officer but ultimately deciding not to, he left the Air Force at twenty-seven and a Technical Sergeant to settle down with his fiancee and daughter, soon becoming a Paramedic in the city they were living in though it didn't last all too long as the world started to go under.

~Family~

Fiancee - Grace Leilani Ah Choong [One|Two] (Died Aged 30): "Grace was a strong, tiny woman that just made you feel all kinds of empowered when you talk to her. We met back when she was in her last year of college. We were starting a family, we had twins on the way when it all went down.

Daughter - Arden Leia Dutchman [Image] (Died Aged 5): "My first. Really didn't think I'd be getting all kinds of emotional in the delivery room when she came, 'ell was I wrong. She was just a little ball of energy."

~Random Stuff~

  • There was only a two year gap between himself and his fiancee.
  • Ash grew up speaking Dutch and English at home and Cantonese at school as child living in Hong Kong.
  • In addition to this he has a good understanding of Arabic having taken a foreign language course in the Air Force.
  • He spent almost twelve years in the United States Air Force a Parerescueman with his last four years in the Special Tactics Squadron providing critical support to Special Operations Forces as well as occasionally fighting alongside them though those times were rather irregular.
  • Ashley is also on the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as a Paramedic in the United States due to his training, both from the Air Force and also due to becoming a Paramedic after service.
