Character concept for a character named Daiki~

I really love drawing his expressions and his hair.

Orestes’s species, the Metamorph, was designed to live for an eternity. They do not grow older past a certain age— they can only be killed, which has made them a valuable target for many a hunter. This has dwindled their species count, and Orestes is one of the last members of his kind.

The Metamorphs change according to their environment— their appearance and their personalities shift depending on where they live.

Their “Survival” form is the extreme Flight or Fight instinct, in which they run on pure adrenaline until the danger is over.

Since their species were meant to last a long time, they have little if any interest in repopulating and rarely have a child with another of their kind, if any at all. However, they do feel the need to reproduce in extreme heat or cold, hence their “Temperature” forms; the winters and summers in their planet last for about two weeks each, so the need to mate is very brief. Where Orestes currently lives now, he has not felt the need to mate since the winters and summers in his environment are fairly mild, and he can keep himself cool or warm depending on the climate. However, there has been one or two circumstances where Spear has had to splash him with water to get him to cool down because he was in the initial stages of turning.

Their “domestic” forms tend to be the truest to their personalities. It simply means they’re in a safe, happy environment where they can survive the easiest.

Not sure about his mermaid form. I guess it’s in case he finds himself beginning to drown?? It might not be completely canon.

Jiro and Gabby have a fun relationship.

Jiro will flirt with Gabby but because she’s about as dense as a brick she never gets it, but occasionally she may accidentally flirt back with him and now he’s in a crisis because was that her flirting or was that just her being literal???

The world may never know.
