Arisu and the Dream Kingdom

Arisu is a white bird who looks a lot like an albino crow with multicolored flower petals adorning her feathers. She speaks telepathically, and likes to perch on people's shoulders or hands. She comes from the Dream Kingdom, a separate dimension where sentient animals study the supernatural and engineer special powers and magical events. Having a very logical mindset, she's highly intelligent, but only understands things like human emotions and socialization on a theoretical level - certain values and customs are completely alien to her. That said, she tries not to let that get in the way of being a good magical mentor.

She has a variety of powers in this world:

• She can speak telepathically to people, including in dreams.
  
• She can be selectively invisible, only appearing for current and prospective Midheavens.
• She can teleport, moving any distance in the blink of an eye.
• She can split herself into multiple bodies that merge again later.

None of the Midheavens are quite sure what Arisu and the Dream Kingdom get out of it, or how they do it, but upon receiving 7 Stars, the Dream Kingdom can grant a single wish.

Players: Arisu fundamentally has your characters' best interests in mind, both as individuals and members of the human race. However, this can be hard for characters to see, due to Arisu (and most members of the Dream Kingdom) not truly understanding human values and emotions.
