Bio: Aria was born Ariana Lee Collins, one of many children in the Collins noble family. While living outside Auga, they had a deep running alliance and friendship with the royal family of Sakala, so when the Carters received a call for help it was only natural that they obliged. However, they arrived too late. A group of mercenaries hired by another Augan territory had come through and murdered them for their alliance with the Carters. Not all were dead, though: Aria, their five year old daughter, managed to hide and survive the slaughter. Upon discovery by the Sakalan army, she was promptly brought back to the castle to be raised as one of their own, even though she would never be allowed to take the throne, due to both not being born of the Carter family and the people's distrust of her due to her outsider status. This lack of power was, in its own way, a gift to her: without any need to compete with her adopted siblings, and with the least to gain from marrying her, she ended up with the most freedom to do as she wished.
Personality: Due to a mix of her foreigner status, anxiety, and general introversion, Aria is painfully shy. She often chooses not to speak around strangers for fear of stuttering and showing weakness, and if she does speak it's usually in very small amounts. If you do manage to get her talking, Aria is curious, sweet, and has a bit of a tendency to always see the beat in people. This doesn't mean she's a doormat, however; the princess knows her worth, and knows what she wants done and how it should be done. Her oldest brother often says she's ninety percent Collins, ten percent Auga: While generally like her deceased family in her tendency to be level-headed and an excellent diplomat, trying to force her to compromise on something she refuses to or treating her as if she doesn't know what she's talking about are the most common ways to flip her to a much more aggressive temperament. She's very good at getting people to do what she wants due to her cleverness and the fact that she seems naive enough that people frequently don't realize she knows exactly what she's doing. Even if she can't convince you through diplomacy and subtle manipulation, she's got her oldest brother wrapped around her little finger, and isn't above using him to 'influence' people's choices.
Appearance: Aria's status as the adopted child is evident to any who even look at her: originally from Gatilar, she sports ivory skin, large bright blue eyes, and red hair that can't seem to decide if it should be wavy or curly that falls to her mid-back, and generally interspersed with braids in an attempt to keep it out of her face or just because she was bored. There is evidence of her years in Sakala, though: the sun has naturally highlighted her hair with almost golden strands, she wears three golden rings in her right ear, her entire body is coated with freckles, and her skin tends to be the faint pink of the beginning of a sunburn. The only other mark on her skin is a thin white scar running from the corner of her lower lip down to her jaw. Aside from that, she tends to look as though she's been tattooed: she frequently draws designs in ink on her skin and forgets to wash it off until it's stained her. At 5'5, incredibly slender, and looking like if you breathe on her too hard she might break, Aria is about the least intimidating person you could imagine.
Weaponry: two sets of custom made throwing knives, one poison (she keeps the antidote on her person) and one normal. If it comes to hand to hand, she relies mostly on evasion, gymnastic ability, and countering, although she has another pair of knives designed for close combat.
