Hello, friend.


First off, I just want to make it clear that I probably won't give out my actual name. Instead I can give you a Out Of Character name ( OOC ). Call me, Apex or Sentinel. I apologize if that came off rather blunt. I assure you that it was not intended on being blunt. I just have trust issues but then again, who doesn't, am I right?


Secondly, I'm a role-player and role-playing is one of a few hobbies of mine I enjoy doing. I've always liked creative writing for as long as I can remember. It has helped me get through things in my life I don't wish to bother you with. It helped me in school and overall it made me explore worlds that can only exist in our imagination. So, when I say this, don't get offended. I don't want to get too close to you unless I feel like I can see us having a friendship. I don't need online drama to ruin my hobby. You feel me?


Lastly, my muse is a single rail. I don't do this whole multi-character deal. I stay devoted to one character until it has ran its course and then I make another. My current muse is 'wasteland' role-play. It involves three styles of technological era that are smashed together. They are: steam punk, diesel punk and atom punk. Most of my inspiration derives from Interplay/Bethesda's series on Fallout. I'm a well versed role-player and they can become graphic at times. I usually don't try to filter myself unless it is mandatory to do so.


So, in summary, I hope you read this. I hope you decide to message this thread and let me know if you want to get together and role-play.

Unlike the Pirate code, they aren't more like suggestions but rules that we take a bit seriously. If, however, you've got a few pieces of eight you'd like to swing our way, we're always more than happy to take it. (I said, the rules weren't suggestions, never said we weren't piratey mate).

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.


Do NOT under any, uncertain circumstances create an interest check in the RP forum! Make sure that you create your interest check in the interest check forums! If you create an interest check in the RP forums then you have just created an RP and all the threads that go along with that. Then administration has to go through and delete all those threads. That is a hassle and a pain in the rear so please make sure that you are posting an interest check in the interest check forums ONLY.
