our favorite school of wizardry has accepted students from all around the world for the first time, allowing for the inevitable mix of cultures and ideas. the muggle-born students have become a large percentage of the student body and it's estimated that, eventually, there will be far fewer pure bloods at the school and far more muggles.

with this in mind, the staff and administration has been discussing and toiling over a certain issue for months. the idea of going public to the world has been juggled around in the wizarding world for as long as it has existed, but only now have they been considering it seriously. not only hogwarts, but the ministry of magic.

however, with this thought looming over head, a group of sinister individuals have decided to take matters into their own hands. the group is composed of not only pure-blooded adults, but their snotty children too. it's only the beginning of the school year, but these children have made it their mission to torture muggle-borns for no reason at all.

three months in and it's only gotten worse, to the point where several muggle-borns have transferred or dropped out of the wizarding world entirely.

this rp is going to be pretty laid back and slice-of-lifeish, despite the fact it takes place in H*eckin' hogwarts. there'll probably be romance and monsters and other things, but yeh. any muggle-born students will very likely be faced with the struggles of bullying/bigotry.

this idea was given to me by @aesthete so scream at her in thanks.

there may be times where this rp gets super serious, so be aware of that, as we've all seen how cruel bigots in harry potter and real life can be. otherwise, a lot of it is gonna focus on character development and the relationships between said characters.
