Details
Organization: Trade-Nation of Ald-Goret
Occupation: Thief
Rank: Adventurer

Power Classification:
Speed and Agility: Thanks to being part Fox Tail, he has above average speed and agility that continues to increase as he trains more.

Silent Steps: Through years of being a thief, he has learned to make his footsteps almost inaudible. But he is only limited to slow movements. He cannot cover the sounds of his footsteps when he runs or sprints. Races with incredible senses are also able to hear his footsteps.

Magic Affinity: He has a noteworthy amount of magical ability, but he cannot properly control it, thus, draining his energy when using a spell. The only spell he can cast without any repercussions is Firebolt, but it is not particularly strong.

Personality: Zel is a quiet young man. It is not because he is shy, but because he has learned to be after staying in the Thieves Guild for so long. He is naturally cold towards others, oftentimes not wanting to talk to them, but he turns soft and his facade breaks down when it comes to those close to him. He is embarrassed about his fox ears and tail, hiding it when he is with people he is not close with. He loves anything valuable, be it jewelry, artifacts, relics, you name it, but only takes from those he deems unworthy of possessing them.

The Past:
"Please take him! I'll do anything, you can take everything we own as payment. All I ask is for you to keep him safe."

This were the last words he heard from his mother before being taken away by the Thieves Guild. He still dreams about that day, waking up crying in a cold sweat.

Zelnite was born in the slums of Ald-Goret, where crime and violence run rampant day and night. In a place of disorder, one person always told him to never step into the world of misdeeds.
"Zel! Make sure that no matter what happens, you never succumb to doing evil." His mother, a Fox Tail, says cheerfully, as she gives him a headband decorated with feathers and a red gem on his 8th birthday.

They were but a poor family, their livelihood consisting of selling small knickknacks to passerby's in the market, being able to get enough money to eat at least once a day. They slept in the stables, small and dirty, but they were satisfied enough having a roof above their heads. This was their daily life, up until that faithful day.

Zel was 10 years old, observing thieves for a long time, crime was almost second nature to him. He had decided that enough was enough, he wanted to get out of poverty and help his mother out. He overheard a group of merchants talking about a noble that was coming to town to trade some of his valuables in a few days. After three days the noble truly did come, and while the he was talking to the merchants, Zel strikes, taking a golden crown and running back to his "home".

As soon as he gets back, he shows the crown to his mother. Terrified, his mother immediately takes him to the Thieves Guild for protection. She goes into town, trying to return the crown, but as soon as the noble's guards sees her, she is arrested. Branded as a thief, she was sentenced to death by public execution. She was hanged on the 28th of The Seeding Nights, 37 AR, a date Zelnite Winterfell will never forget, as he sees his mother hanged before his very eyes.

After her death, he decides to train under the Thieves Guild, honing his skills in order to be able to make a better life for himself. Blaming himself for his mothers death, he vows to never do anything that would hurt those close to him. He became revered in the Guild, and when he was 16, became one of the most infamous thieves. He is only known by one title, a title he uses in order to never forget his late mother.

He walks toward a client, the gem from his headband shining as he holsters his dagger and flintlock pistol.

"Good afternoon, I am The Hanged King, pleasure to be of service."

Organization: No affiliation
Occupation: Outcast
Rank: Depends on the stage of the Moon, and whether it's in the sky or past the horizon. On New Moons, she's at the level of a Civilian, on Full Moons she has the power of a Paragon, and the other stages are various levels of in between. When Sotiris is in the way of the Moon, her power remains level at Adventurer.
Power Classification: She is capable of all types of Elemental magic, however she is more skilled in some types than others, namely Fire, Ice, and Wind. Fire magic allows her to conjure flames from her fingertips, to take a variety of shapes. It cannot create solid objects though, and she has to either wear gauntlets or channel it through a staff to use it safely. Ice Magic lets her create solid ice wherever she imagines, and the more power she pours into it, the stronger it gets. She can use it to create weapons, barriers, bridges, and many other things. However of course, it melts easily regardless, and the more magical ice she has on the field, the weaker it all becomes in total. When her magical ice melts, it does not leave behind any water. Wind magic is used mostly for utility, allowing her to jump high and run fast. She can also use it to push opponents away, however it's less effective against heavier people and objects. She knows the basics of some of the other elements, but is unskilled in them; With Light magic, she can illuminate her way. Water magic lets her create small streams of water, however it evaporates quickly and does not help with hydration. By concentrating Spirit magic into her horn, she can use it as a short-range radar of sorts, sensing the souls of nearby people (This also works with anything that gives off magical energy as well, however this can also be a detriment as powerful sources of magic will also drown out any other signals). And she has not learned anything about Dark, Earth, Storm, or Life yet.
Her power is directly tied to the energy given off by the Moon in the sky, which has the effects listed in Rank above. However, eclipses have special effects on not just her magic, but her personality and sanity as well. During a Solar Eclipse, her connection to the moon is at its absolute weakest, and in addition to being nearly completely unable to conjure magic of any sort, she is also overcome with a crushing feeling of loneliness, and believes the Moon has abandoned her. Many Moon Al-mi'raj on Sotiris end up committing suicide during Solar Eclipses.
During a Lunar Eclipse, the Sotiris' energy twists the sunlight before it hits the Moon's surface, which corrupts the link between Moon and Al-mi'raj. In addition to the usual, powerful benefits of a Full Moon, her personality is also twisted, becoming psychopathic and bloodthirsty, eager to show off the power she has to the world. Cities are often leveled when this happens, which is a secondary reason for why it's referred to as a "Blood Moon". Al-mi'raj affected by Blood Moons are inevitably killed off or imprisoned, to keep them from causing too much damage.
All of these effects only take place while she is on Sotiris. On the Moon, she is always at full power, and is unaffected by Eclipses.
Personality: Yusaria is a naive but curious sort, and wants to learn as much about Sotiris as she can. However, she is not used to all of the different races that live there, and is often quite shy around them. She holds great reverence and respect towards the Moon, to the point of it practically being a religious worship. She also loves carrots the most out of any other food, however she is impressed by how many different kinds of food the people of Sotiris have come up with.
The Past: Yusaria was born on the Moon, like most Moon Al-mi'raj. She had always been interested in Sotiris, always hovering far up in the sky above her. However as she grew up, she became increasingly frustrated with how little anyone knew about it - Due to the effects of Eclipses on Moon Al-mi'raj, travel to the planet was highly frowned upon, to the point where those who left the Moon to go there were considered outlaws, and weren't allowed to return. As she grew, however, she realized that while she liked the Moon and her home on its surface, it was impossible to shake her curiosity about Sotiris. So, after taking a number of months confirming that this was 100% what she wanted (There was no going back, after all) she was allowed to leave, and see what Sotiris was like for herself.
Other
She does carry the sword in her image around with her, and uses it in tandem with her magic for combat. It looks large in the image, however it can be wielded reasonably well with either one or two hands. It was gifted to her by friends and family along with her armor upon her decision to leave, and as such they are both made of the same materials, and crafted on the Moon. She doesn't remember the name of the materials used, though.

The Basics
Name: Cirina
Alias(s): The Viper
Age: 25
Date of Birth: 16th of Rising Dragon
Species: Human
Sub-species: Scorpionfolk
Physical Description: (A brief descriptor of your character. i.e Tall, slender, hulking)

Appearance
Height: 160 cm
Weight: 50 kg
Hair Color: Dark brown
Eye Color: Orange
Markings: None
Features: While mostly human in appearance, a dead giveaway to Cirina being something more is that she, like all of her people, has a scorpion tail.

(Image to come later. Still looking for one or making one myself)

Details
Organization: If anything, probably the Trade-Nation of Ald-Goret. Closest city to home and the only place she's ever been as a nomad from the Endless Sands
Occupation: Blade for Hire, Peddler of goods found on the people stupid enough to venture into the desert without a guide.
Rank: Adventurer
Power Classification:
  • Venomous
    • Other than fighting with her blade, Cirina can use her tail to strike opponents in combat. Her tail functions in the same way a normal scorpion's tail does, poisoning those she strike
  • Resistance to poison
    • Due to the venom in her veins, Cirina is resistant to being poisoned herself. Mind you, resistance does not equal immunity. While very mild poisons might not affect her at all, other poisons will have their effects, just it won't be as extreme to her as it would be to others.
  • Gift of the Sun
    • A mild affinity for Fire Magic, which she mostly uses to light fires to keep herself warm. She can create and control small flames, but not enough to set people or large things on fire.
  • Gift of the Sand
    • Mild affinity for Earth Magic. Requires dry sand. Cirina can dig herself in and tunnel a way to another nearby sandy location. Mainly used to get away from combat/people/situations she doesn't want to get involved in

Personality:
Cirina is quiet. She's generally just not fond of talking and not particularly great at expressing herself. She's better with a sword than with words, but sticking people with a sword doesn't really make you friends with anyone. Although quiet, she is a loyal friend once she trust you. She will fight to the end for the things she believes in, unless someone can prove her wrong. Cirina's main focus is to just get by and stay alive. And get used to this new environment. You can likely often hear her complaining about the cold here, or see her training her skills with blade and fire.

The Past:
Born into one of the nomadic tribes wandering the Endless sands, Cirina was born into a life of trade and swordsmanship. From the day she was old enough to know how to properly hold a sword, she much like most other people in her tribe was trained in the art of combat. It was a harsh training under the burning sun and in an unforgiving landscape. But she managed. Despite the harsh training Cirina doesn't consider herself to have had a harsh life. It was simply the way of her people. She learned how to find her way by the stars and how to navigate through the treacherous sands of the desert. Skills that would prove useful when travelers found their tribe and needed a guide to get to Ald-Goret. Which is how she eventually lost her tribe.

Five or six years ago, Cirina isn't quite sure, a group of nomadic merchants needed help finding their way to Ald-Goret. As a test of skill, Cirina was tasked with guiding them to the trade city safely and then find her way back to the tribe. The chief had provided her with the direction they would be traveling in based on the stars. She succeeded in her task, but as she was making her way back, a dust storm had surprised her people, burying everyone she knew alive. She then simply did what she was always taught to do: take what you need, pay your respects to the departed, and move on. So she took whatever provisions she could carry, some valuables to sell off, and after paying her respects to her deceased family members, she made her way back to Ald-Goret. There she offered her skills as a blade for hire and guide into the desert, selling off whatever valuables she found on her journeys.

Important to note is that she, up until moving into the city, was unaware of the war in the further inlands. The tribes mostly stuck to their own. The Sands had been all of the world she had known up until then. And now, talk of the so-called "Paragons" has reached her ears. Cirina has traded the warm sands for something way out of her comfort zone. The chills of the North.
