Early Life
Born in Brasov, Romania. Lily's parents lost custody of her and her older sister when Lily was just a baby. She didn't get the chance to get to know her parents until much later in her life despite her want to. She had a good life with her grandparents and was very close with her sister growing up but she craved to get to know the rest of her family too. She longed to have the bond that most of her friends had with their parents and brothers and vowed that one day she would find her younger brother whom she had only spoken with on the phone a handful of times.
The Middle
After highschool Lily's grandparents and parents inspired her to follow her dreams. She found herself in love with anatomy and for a while thought that she would become a doctor but very quickly found herself falling in love with the darker side of science. She found a passion in working in a morgue and found herself craving the life of a mortician. She went to school in Brasov for a while but still found herself wondering about her brother. So she moved.
At 20 years old, Lily moved from her home in Romania to seek out her younger brother to build the bond with not only him but her parents who at the time still lived in the US as well. She stayed with her brother for a while. Her and her brother grew close quickly and he introduced her to someone who would be her lifelong friend. When their parents left to go back to Romania they asked Lily if she wanted to go back with them but she decided that, because she found not only comfort in being close to her brother but with with the Faust family who had welcomed her into the family with open arms, she would be much happier in the US. She went back to school, finished her degree, then found a job in her field that she loved.
Now
Lily found great company in the corpses that she worked on. They were quiet and she didn't have to talk to them so she was content with what she did. Despite the other employees trying to talk to her Lily loved her job and was more than willing to even stay late or go in on her days off just so she could spend a little more time doing it. She also found great comfort in spending her free time in cemeteries with a book in her hand as she let her mind wander. Peaceful. Quiet. It was everything she thought she needed.

Not much to say about Persi's early life. She was born and raised in Paradise and had loving and adoring parents. She always had a passion to be in the kitchen and would sit with her mother and grandmother every time they were cooking. She grew up in the family home that had been in her family for generations and was always running around with the neighbour kids. She was a good student, especially excelling in her home ec class. A born homemaker.
When her mother passed away she took on the role as the chef for all of the family events and took care of her father up until the day she turned 18 and was free to leave and explore the world for her own.
The Middle
Persi made the decision to go to culinary school with the inheritance that her mother left behind for her and absolutely thrived. She loved LA and fell even further in love with food and cooking. She found comfort in being in the kitchen whether it was making an extravagant meal or baking some cookies, Persi was happy. That was until her father got ill, at least. Persi was in her final year of culinary school, just about to wrap up the year when her father was admitted to the hospital. She rushed there as soon as her finals were over and sat with him until the day he died, originally planning on taking him home and caring for him there. She never got the chance.
She was willed the family home and moved back to Paradise to keep the house in the family, knowing that one day she would share the home with her own children and keep the house in the family. She was only 22. She found herself a job at Russkis to pay for the costs of owning her own home and found a good life there.
It was through her boss that she met Cal, a late night out that ended in a fun little surprise. At first Persi was terrified. She didn't think she was ready to be a mother but the moment that she saw the little baby on the ultrasound she was smitten. She gave Cal the option to leave, of course, not wanting him to feel trapped but was happy to find that he was going nowhere. The two of them tried their hand at a relationship but Persi found that it just wasnt for her. Of course the relationship ended on good terms for the sake of their daughter, Parker.
Now
Persi adores her little family. She would have it no other way, really. She falls more and more in love with Parker every single day and although the little girl is quite different from what she was expecting her to be, Persi wouldn't change a single thing about her. She does her best to help guide her and enthusiastically lets her follow her dreams, knowing that one day she will do amazing things no matter what they may be. She still keeps a good relationship with Cal and makes sure that he gets to see Parker any time he wants, knowing that Parker will always love her father no matter what. For that, Persi loves him too.

Early Life
Violet's life started out really simple. Born and raised in Paradise, Violet was born the youngest of four children. Her parents were very loving and her siblings, although much older than she was, all adored her and treated her like gold. She wasn't necessarily spoiled, but Violet didn't want for much... Mostly because she was just happy to be involved.
Even at a young age Violet was quiet. She always spoke in a soft voice and was respectful. She was quiet and had good manners even when she was very young. A parents dream come true, Violet was a dear. So sweet and so kind, Violet was a golden child.
However with all that sweetness that she projected outwards, Violet wasn't always treated with that same kindness.
The Middle ~TW: bullying, self harm, abuse~
The moment Violet started middle school Violet was bullied and ridiculed. Partially because her mother was a teacher at the school at the time and partially because of the way she spoke. Because of how naturally quiet and polite Violet was she was teased and bullied, because of how little she had to say and because of how respectful she was to the teachers in the school she was called names. Then is was making fun of her body because she was so small. She was called a child and picked up by the older students. The worst were the boys, always grabbing her and calling her names, throwing her around like she was an object. Her parents tried to help but there was so little that they could do.
It wasn't until her parents saw the marks on her arms that they decided she needed to change schools. Even with the change, though, Violet was bullied. Her bullies from school lived on the same block so they would corner her on the way home, push her around and tease her.
When she came home in tears with her glasses broken and scrapes all over her knees and hands her parents made the hardest decision of their lives. With their other children now gone from their house and no way to help their now highschool aged daughter, they sent her away.
Violet was sent to live with her uncle in a different city to finish off school. He treated her well at first, helping her find a job as a babysitter and helping her save money for school. Violet had decided early on that she wanted to be a teacher like her mother but after all of the bullying decided that perhaps she was better suited for much younger students. She hoped that she would be able to inspire them at a young age to be good people. She wanted to be there for them, be the person that so many of her classmates didn't have at a young age.
During her last year of highschool Violets uncle and aunt got divorced. Violet didn't know her aunt very well as she was almost never home and at the time Violet didn't understand or see what was going on. That same year her uncle hit her for the first time. He apologized profusely and begged her not to tell her parents, stating that it was just an accident and that it would never happen again.
Though... it's never really a one time thing, is it?
The moment that violet could get out of that house she did. She took off to college and despite saving up as much as she could she still had to take out loans. She found a good job with nannying on the weekends and after school for a single dad who loved his daughter but just didn't have the time to take care of her all of the time.
It was wrong. Violet knew it was wrong and yet she still found herself growing attached to him, loving him. She tried pulling herself away, dating other men and telling herself he was too old for her. Yes, she may have been an adult but there was still an eleven year age gap between the two. She was closer to his daughters age than to his. Yet she still found herself falling with no way out. She planned her life around being in his city.
But then Sophie died. At 14 years old. Sophie died. Suddenly Violet was no longer needed, no longer wanted. Her last year of school before she started working, Violet decided that the moment she was able to, she would find a job in the city she grew up in and never look back.
Now
Paradise was like starting new for Violet. After years of being away, years of running from her problems, Violet returned to the place where it all started. With the support of her parents Violet found herself a cozy little apartment, much smaller than the one she had lived in before and much, much smaller than Jacksons house with Sophie.... She still found a way to love her new home. She decorated it and fixed it up to make it more homely and when she finally got the call from the school she did the same for her classroom.
Now Violet tunes out the scars of her past and doesn't talk about them at all. She pretends it never happened and does exactly what she had set out to do from the beginning. She inspires. She inspires with kindness, she inspires with generosity, she inspires with words of affirmation and actions that she only wished someone would have given to her when she was younger. Violet finds broken things and she helps them become better in any way that she can. While she hides her dark secrets of the past, Violet always looks toward the future. She hopes that there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel. She hopes that this is her light.

Early Life
Born the middle of three, Maeve was a happy child. Her family regularly visited Ireland where the vast majority of her family lived. They were there for almost every Christmas and Maeve absolutely thrived. She loved Paradise and loved her family.
Then there was the accident.
At ten years old, Maeve, her younger sister, and her father were in a terrible car accident. Her little sister had been thrown from the car, much too young to be in the front seat. Her father's injuries were so bad that he was put into a coma, and Maeve? She was mostly fine. She had a few broken bones and a nasty concussion but otherwise she was perfectly fine. Her sister didn't make it through the night and her father pulled through with some... difficulty. He was never truly the same afterwards.
But neither was Maeve.
The Middle
The aftershock of the accident changed Maeve for a long time. Survivors guilt was the biggest thing she faced. She became afraid. Afraid of every twist and turn in life. She had lost so much from the accident. Her baby sister and best friend. Things weren't the same for her anymore.
Slowly she coped with the help of her family. She found herself falling into a rhythm of being okay for a while and then falling back into sadness, typically on the anniversary of her sisters death and her sisters birthday. Christmases didn't feel the same anymore. Especially not with her mother insisting that there be a stocking for her lost child. Presents that forever remained unopened then became an extra decoration. It was hard. It made Maeve grow to hate the holiday.
The moment she turned 18, Maeve moved. She left for school and stayed for the sun and the beaches. She was happy for a while, recovering. Of course nothing stays happy for long.
In the middle of the night, a random night, a weekday, she was to go to school the very next day, the fire alarms starting blaring throughout her apartment. At first she didn't bother getting up, laying in her bed and grumbling about the fire drills coming at ridiculous times. Then she saw the smoke, heard the commotions outside of her apartment. She knew something was entirely wrong. She grabbed what little she could, which wasn't really a lot, and fled the building. Standing in the middle of the street with her phone in her hand and her schoolbag with her laptop, Maeve watched her apartment go up in flames. She witnessed people dying, people screaming for help in the higher floors, people jumping because there was simply no other way. It was horrifying.
If it weren't for her friend allowing her to pass out on their couch she never would have finished school. Thank goodness they did. With very few options left, Maeve fled back to Paradise once she finished the school year. She moved in with her parents at first, going back to her childhood bedroom. Her parents supported her until she found a job at a dental office as a receptionist and was finally able to move out.
Now
Now Maeve lives on her own again. A small apartment not nearly half as big as the one she had before, but home nonetheless. She's paranoid, doule checking the fire alarms consistently. Every time there is a fire drill she attends and she keeps an emergency bag packed just in case. She doesn't have pets, too afraid to potentially lose them in case there is a fire, and her night terrors have returned.
Maeve lives in a constant state of dread and fear. She hates herself for it, knowing that her paranoia pushed people away, but there isn't much she feels she can do about it. Although she is so scared and so hurt she doesn't often let it show, allowing people to think that she is perfectly fine. She's afraid to fall asleep, knowing that the pain, the hurt, and the fear will consume her when she does.

Early Life
Born as a twin and the first of the Rivera siblings, Faune was protective of her and her siblings from the start. The only people that ever truly loved her were her sister and her mother and even then Faune held a deep resentment for her mother for a very, very long time.
Faune learned very quickly how to grab someones attention in a negative way in order to try and spare her younger siblings from their fathers drunken abuse. She loathed her mother for never stepping in and trying to help them and quickly turned to sneaking out and getting drunk in order to cope with the troubles at home.
Her sister was her refuge for a long time. Faune and her twin sister, Faye, were closer than anyone else. Two musketeers who did everything together. They partied together, they got into trouble together, they got into alcohol and occasionally drugs together.

It was one of those nights out that saved her life.
Faune had snuck out for the night with her twin, seeking the refuge of alcohol and a wild party to try and cope with the horrors at home. It was fun. Faune had a good time, all smiles and giggles the whole way home, the girls sharing a bottle of whatever they had managed to swipe as they walked down the street arm and arm.
The party ended when they reached their home. Nothing but ashes, the family they once had all burned to a crisp in their sleep. Their drunken father seemingly had enough of the burdens of his family and resorted to ending them all, thinking that he would be able to get out of it completely free.
He did.
With nowhere to go and a fear in their hearts that their father would try to finish the job, the girls ran. They took off, searching for a safe place to go. They knew he was hunting them. They knew that it was only a matter of time before he found them, especially if they stayed in one place for too long. The girls did everything that they could to keep a low profile.
Now
Bouncing from town to town led them to Paradise. 3000 miles from where they started out, seeking refuge. What little they had packed away. Faune keeps a bag of necessities under her bed, packed and ready in case the girls need to leave in a moments notice. She prepares, knowing exactly where they will go next. She never wants the burden to be on her sister.
Perhaps that's why Faune is miserable. Perhaps thats why Faune tries to push people away every chance she gets.
