History: Amelia is the youngest princess of Nohr, and lives with a freedom she wouldn't normally have because of it. Not being next in line allows her to learn and train without the stress of preparing to lead a kingdom, while her natural wit and wanderlust led to her expeditions outside of the castle. Amelia would write down her adventures, trying to spruce up the boring walks and carriage rides with made up details and hyperbole. This in part was inspired by her love of reading, and her hopes of becoming a real author.
Particularly inspired by stories of warriors, Amelia picked up a sword and started swinging. She requested to be trained in various forms of sword fighting, determined to be the best swordsman in the land. She still has a long way to go, but the potential is there.
As part of her love of tales of adventure, Amelia wanted a retainer that was against the norm, so people could immediately recognize stories involving the two. Her search yielded no good results, at least until she heard about Adelaide. She was a healer, which would certainly be unique for tales to come, but what caught Amelia's attention was how Adelaide was drafted. Upon hearing how the young girl also had a taste of adventure–one that led her into the castle–Amelia believed she found the perfect partner. After some convincing, Amelia officially had Adelaide set as her retainer.
With war on the horizon, Amelia is eager to fill books with tales of battles, but is hesitant to fight other people that is not a sparring session or competition. And being so young, she's not ready to throw her life away yet, nor is she prepared to sacrifice those around her to reach her goals.
