Her brown eyes were deep, always filled with a sense of mystery and cleverness. They resembled the bark of a willow tree, they held the warmth of an everlasting hearth, as if they were the wood that could burn with golden flame yet be forever perfectly entire. Such eyes could pull anyone in if one dared to unravel the puzzle called Zavianna.
---
Zavianna should have noticed the glaring signs that things were wrong. Like how the train conductor reeked of alcohol and somewhat stumbled when walking. But you would never expect to die on your birthday right? The moment the train derailed was one of the most scariest feelings she had ever experienced. For a second she was floating and then violently thrown to the side as the train titled over. Laptops, luggage, even worse, other people came flying at her. The train seemed to skid along it's side for a long time until it finally came to a stop.
For a second it was quiet then the cries and screams started. This was a passenger train carrying people from Dallas to New York, one of the best inventions from the 21st century so many people were abroad at the time of the crash. The train car filled with smoke fueling the panic even more. As Zavianna lay broken and bloodied among the wreckage a hand reached out to her. The owner of the hand called himself Father Time.
---- An eccentric one to say the least. Wushan detests being bored, even the thought of it filling him with annoyance. If he can't find entertainment by the hands of others he'll just create his own, typically meaning bothering people till they implode. Challenges are something he's always up for, intellectual feats being his favorite. Unlike many others, Wushan wasn't kind nor good. When hearing that people would shy away. The instinctive assumption being that if he wasnโt a good person, he was a bad one. A completely black and white viewpoint. The world of course isnโt that simple, but he was. No, he wasnโt a soulless puppy kicker, but he had never once acted purely out of kindness either. Most of the deeds he had done were comprised out of humor. Though, Itโs not like he didnโt have the capacity to be kind. Wushan was sure everyone did too, at least, according to his definition of kindness was to give and not to expect anything in return. Expect him, that was something he never did. Anything he does, he expects to be paid back in full no matter how small.
----- From a young age Wushan was always interested in death, fascinated by it even. He didn't fear it or despise. Death was something that was constantly around him with his parents being gravediggers and having the responsibilities that involve digging and placing the remains in a grave. Suddenly a tragedy occurred, his parents were involved in an accident with some bandits. It was a wrong place wrong time type situation. When their bodies were retrieved and sent back Wushan was angry. Angry not for the fate of his parents but angry because of the way they died. He believed everyone should die in a calm and peaceful manner not horribly as his parents did. To him life was a stage, death was just another part of that stage. At night weird things would happen. Locked doors would be open come morning, items in spots they couldn't possibly be and the sound of banging or screaming could be heard.
Wushan alone knew it was the resentful spirits of his deceased parents at work. Yes he knew they were there but he couldn't hear them. It was a sense, a prickling feeling on his skin that something otherworldly was nearby. In his father's dusty study there was a book. A very old book with yellow papers that would rip with the lightest pinch. 'Path Of An Exorcist', the word exorcist wasn't unfamiliar to him. Tales of people that dealt with the dead and put tortured souls to rest reached his ears even since infancy. Once the book was open it was like a whole new world opened up for him. Wushan found what he was looking for.

The Beginning
Yu Xia was a Fuerdai of the nouveau riche Yu family. It wasn't an exaggeration to say she was spoiled as she had everything handed to her on sliver platter. She was the youngest of four children and held a close relationship with the rest of her family. They were a close bunch who always had each other's back through thick or thin. That doesn't mean there wasn't any arguments or disagrees from time to time, family wasn't always perfect, especially if you were wealthy. The Yu's money mainly came from their import business which started off a small business and eventually with hard work, it grew into an large enterprise that held numerous branches in multiple foreign countries. When she was 12 it was decided that Xia would be sent abroad for schooling, an idea she heavily protested against at the time, but despite her cries she was still sent anyways. She arrived confused and scared, not knowing that here she would meet three people that would change her life forever.
There were many other Chinese people in the academy like her but it wasn't because she was in a foreign country different from her own that she had a hard time adjusting. It just didn't feel like home to Yu Xia. The teachers were strict and never smiled. Completely unlike the adults back home who smiled lovingly at her. Some of the bigger kids that were her siblings age teased her and called her mean names. Miserable was the only word that could describe how the young girl was feeling. Perhaps some would be resentful at their parents for sending them to such a place but she wasn't. Despite everything she knew her parents only wished the best for her. They couldn't have possibly had known what she was going to experience. It was during one of these teasing sessions that three new people came into her life. Gei Yue, Jingchang Ning, and Shi Chao. Those three came in like a storm with rocks and started pelting the troublemakers until they ran away. Shi Chao pulled her up from the ground and started whiping the tears that poured down her face whilst the other two helped dust off her clothes.
When Yu Xia asked why they aided her instead of being a bystander they only gave her a cheesy line. "We're superheroes! Whenever there's someone in need we'll be there!" That's when she knew. These people were going to be her best friends.
May She Rest
Yu Xia didn't go out in some elaborate or explosive way it was actually really old fashioned. Poison. Shocking isn't it? At the time she died she was having a celebraton with her family. It was to celebrate something for her father, she couldn't remember exactly what. Though everyone was having fun. Then she felt feverish but tried her best to ignore thinking it wasn't anything. Sweat started to run down her forehead, her vision blurred and she felt weak.. so weak.
Yu Xia heard alarmed screams as her world blackened. The last thing she sensed was hands catching her limp body.

Light Magic
The user of this magic can utilize Light, a benevolent system of magic based around a purer side of magic is typically used for helping other people by healing the mind, body or soul. Practitioners of this type of magic tend to focus toward assisting others, purifying evil spirits, dispel curses, medical potions and respect all the rules about what is forbidden and not. Light Magic can also be used to attack, such as creating a large ball of bright light and descending it upon enemies. The immediate effect being enemies will be blinded from such a light and now vulnerable to attacks.
Fast Style (Star Wars), utilizing short and quick motions with the blade that could be chained and combined almost indefinitely, this style allowed for multiple attacks at an extremely fast pace. This style utilizes a defensive stance where the user's weapon of choice is held across the front of the user, ready to parry attacks and deflect blaster attcks or to launch short, fast jabs and cuts.
A remarkably polite young girl, Hanae is someone who values honesty and understands the power of her words and actions. She doesn't let on she knows more than she should and never ignores the elephant in the room, she'll bring it up simply, never leaving people wondering if and when she might mention it. Hanae is a person who listens fully before speaking; she doesn't interrupt. She refrains from profanity, and also refrains from talking obscenely. Her smiles are always well mannered and she is genuine with others. Hanae believes everyone deserves to be treated respectfully, irrespective of their position, behavior or clothing. She would never insult anyone unless they truly deserve it or had gone against those close to her. She properly apologizes when she make mistakes and shows her gratitude when other people help her.
History:
Maybe Hanae should have just handed over her bag, maybe she shouldnโt have taken that shortcut through that alley. Maybe because then all this wouldnโt have happened. And as that knife rushed towards her a million thoughts ran throughout her head in a second. Things she should have said, things she should have done. She regretted not going shopping with Koyuki and Renho yesterday. Hanae regretted slamming the door on her way out to school because she was mad at her mother. She regretted not saying goodbye that morning because she and her mother had gotten into an argument over something so stupid. A million things that will never happen because she wanted to be stubborn and walk to school instead of taking the railway like usual.
At first once it pierced her stomach it didnโt hurt, it was like she hadnโt been stabbed at all. But once all the adrenaline and shock had faded away, the pain began to hit her all at once. It was a strong burning sensation that she couldnโt get away from. Hanae's body fell to the ground and she couldnโt move. A heavy sense of sleepiness began to over take her, she knew this wasnโt any good. By this time her attacker had already run away, she saw his face at the last second. He was very panicked and looked to be around her age, a student but perhaps a bit older.
Hanae fought to keep her eyes open, she feared once that she had closed them they would never open again. So there she lay on a dirty alley floor with a pool of blood surrounding her. Her school uniform was dyed with the color red and she was fighting to stay awake. But it seems in the end she was too weak. There was an intense feeling that came over her as her vision blurred. Revenge. How many people a year died because of someone's selfishness? Too many to account for. Judgement needed to be given to those who dared commit such horrible acts.
Hanae's eyes closed. Chest rising and falling slowly, breaths coming out short and then quietness. The 15 year old Hanae Ishikawa perished.

Jong-soo, I just saw the news. I'm coming to get you, please stay safe my ah-dul. I love you. Not Delivered
psyche
Jong-soo is a type of person that other people want to be around. A self proclaimed people person who's easy going, easily can interact and positively affect many different kinds of people. As a people person, he's learned how to converse with people by being genuinely interested in who they are not what they can do for him. To start off, he begans to make others feel comfortable and creates a positive atmosphere. Whether it is a long or short exchange, Jong-soo displays that he's interested in the other person by initiating the conversation. He's made a habit of greeting people before they greet him. When trying to connect with people in a good way, he's found it is best start with their interest. There are two major reasons why this is important. First he learns more about the person he's are talking to. This is very important in social situations. After all you cannot build rapport with someone until you understand who you are talking to.
The second reason this is important, is because this is a way to make others feel important. When he converses with someone about their interest, he builds an understanding about the person and that person develops a bond with him because he's have allowed them to share some of what is important to them with him. Jong-soo understands that not everyone will like him. And he also gets that some people will really, really not like him and go out of their way to show it. He's okay with that. He doesn't have to prove his worth. He can leave it there. Provoking the bear is something he'd never dare do, he doesn't use questions to provoke or antagonize others. If he senses a conversation or text interaction getting heated, he'll direct it into calmer waters. Because he knows itโs an ego-driven act to wind another person up. Your name, your friends names, that you like a hot drink with something a little sweet on the side, that you love animals, specifically cats, with your whole heart, that youโre allergic to milk and nuts, whatever. Jong-soo knows the little clues to who you are and what you hold dear. So he makes an effort to remember them.
There's something about himself he tries hard to hide. The fact that he's a hopeless romantic. Jong-soo has never been in an relationship before but each time he goes out in public, a part of him expects that this will be the day he'll meet the person hes going to marry. He knows itโs crazy, yet he's still ready for it, and the prospect of it excites him more than anything in the world. Jong-soo is always on the lookout for new songs, movies, soap operas and YouTube videos that make him cry, because he loves and seek out that feeling of his face slowly melting. He already has his ideal wedding planned out in his head, from wedding colors to the season in which he wants to get married, to specific flowers and decor.

Before the Survival Show
Jong-soo was always a fan of idols but never once thought about becoming one. Why? Because his life was already good as is. He came from money, a nouveau riche family to be exact. Everything he could ever want was provided to him. You'd think that'd make him a spolied rotten kid but his mother made sure he never turned into that type of person. Whenever he threw a tantrum she would drag him around by the ear and scold him into tears. The reason behind Jong-soo applying for the show was not really special. One day he was bored and decided to pass time by filling out the application form for the show. He never expected to get accepted or be on the show at all.
During the Survival Show
Jong-soo rose to popularity on the show, and it wasn't an exaggeration to say he was a fan favorite. He probably would have been in the top three if it wasn't for his singing. His voice wasn't terrible but it wasn't on the same level as other contestants or famous singers. Nonetheless Jong-soo was satisfied with his spot in fourth place. It was right in the middle and didn't bring the jealously that being in the top three got you.

Estranged is all there is to describe their relationship. This man was out of his life before he was even born, his parents divorced a few months before his birth. Jong-soo knows nothing about this man and it's probably the same for Yoon too.

Baek Eun-Kyung
Mother
Eun-Kyung is Jong-soo's mother and she loves him dearly. Though she isn't able to spend a lot of time with her son. Having to manage a multi million dollar corporation, ensuring that the company has the capital needed to operate and succeed and obtaining business deals doesn't give the woman a lot of time to interact with her son. Eun-Kyung tries her best though. She messages or videos him whenever she has the time and makes sure he's doing alright. Their relationship is overall pretty good.
