Alex - Seer of Time

A Seer of Time wrestles with the idea of fate and destiny for sure, the ambiguity if which Timeline is the right one? Which should they follow? What if I get it wrong? They have trouble trusting their instincts definitely, but eventually they will not doubt what they know to be true. They may struggle when to be patient and when to act. Because they see Time, they may be able to look into the past as well as the future and this may be where their doubt and struggles come from, they’ve seen how things have failed in the past and are afraid they may not be any different in the future. They will have to make tough decisions about the fate of them or their party and properly deal with what might be a harsh reality and future.

They see pretty much everything in terms of how long and when things will happen. They may even struggle with the thought of Death and what happens when you die more so than others, the preoccupation with when and how and death making god tiering that bit harder for them. For more literal things, they could have partial synesthesia, the condition of the mixing some of the senses, smelling noise, tasting colors, hearing smells etc. but they would only probably be able to See Music or Sound. They might have strange taste in music, example with the synesthesia only liking “Red” or “Blue” or whatever color music/sounds, or maybe they’re just unable to pick a favorite song/genre/singer/sound.

A Seer of Time is one who can literally "see" though time, though it's characteristic of a Seer to not actually properly see their aspect until a while into the session. Seers begin their sessions, typically pre-medium, with a misunderstanding of their aspect. A Seer of Time would probably be obsessed with fortunes, and might try to predict the future, only to have their predictions come out horribly wrong. A Seer's job through their session, then is to properly re-learn all they can about their aspect, and then help others through their new understanding. Seers would have to come to terms with the fact that they were wrong, as their typical "know it all" personality would make that hard for them to do otherwise. Seers are a passive class, meaning they allow their aspect to benefit others, and typically deal with the concepts that work behind the scenes of their aspect. A Seer of Time would eventually come to understand and comprehend the concept of time and timelines, and would assist their session in moving forwards by guiding them down a path that would result in the best possible ending. It's really important to stress in a Seer the fact hat they have a very wrong and sometimes skewed misconception about how their aspect works, as in Rose's inability to "play the rain" and her avoidance of the quest for the fact that she couldn't admit she didn't understand. Pride is big in Seers, and it's perhaps one of their largest obstacles.
