A Lost Kitty
This is the lore thread for Aleria.
This world is an apocalyptic one. It takes place after the world killed itself with wild fires and world catastrophes. There are three clans of people, Oztroja the evil clan that started the war and also harnesses the power of Water and Lightening, Sinderia the clan which has the power of Earth and Ice, and the new clan Hilendrix practicing the powers of Wind and Fire. One day, Nidelia, Sinderian citizen, ran away from her clan to make one of her own. She founded it by finding and collecting refugees and the wounded or betrayed. They are located in caves where Oztroja can't find them. It is a small city inside like a maze. Oztroja's leader is trying to make his own force by kidnapping children and raising them to try to take over the world to make his clan supreme, as Sinderia tries to keep it's peace with the people around them.
The Apocalypse:
The year the world killed itself was 5100. Human's were very technologically advanced, having created luxuries for people so extravagent that people really couldn't afford those luxuries, not even the rich. People were spending most of their time inside VR video games and working, not really having time to spend physiclaly together anymore except for romantic reasons. Due to this the worlds water resources began to dwindle, treating water wasn't a viable option for the big cities anymore, as polution had reached its prime. The worlds scientists quickly had to come together to fix this, and after a century of research, they discovered a way to mass purify salt water into fresh water and began to provide it to all homes, this of course was very expensive as well, so not everyone was getting what they needed of water. This was leading to a lot of death of course, but no one seemed to care, not even family of family members. Everything of the human's culture had been lost, obviously.
Watching this happen of course, were the Gods. Yes, gods, all the gods, Egyptian, Greek, Christian, etc. all of them were watching in horror. Of course many many years ago the gods had sworn to each other to stop meddling in the lives of human's, so there wasn't really anything they could do. But one Goddess, one that hadn't actually sworn this, was angered, not only because the human's were doing that to each other, but now she was dying, because of them. Of course the oceans were going to run out if this continued and this Goddess; Terra, Earth, as people so commonly called her, but didn't know she was a goddess, was infuriated. They were killing her, so she decided she was going to take them with her. First she started by making the water go faster than it would have, depriving the human's of any extra water than what they had stored up. She of course knew this was going to kill her as a result.
One god, or rather Angel, Lucifer, was horrified. As he had apparently harbored a secret love for the Goddess. Watching her do this, he became enraged himself. It took him five thousand years before he couldn't bear his heart ache anymore and he approached the other gods, asking them if there were anyway to bring her back. In the end they agreed, although "God" himself refused, despite all the other gods agreeing to help. This caused him to be spurned by the group as they all revived Terra. Upon coming back to life Terra was amazed to see all of the gods working together to help her, she was overcome with joy and began to cry, this lead to water returning to the earth. First the oceans, since tears are salty. Slowly the rivers came back, restoring the worlds water source. She quickly planted seeds and soon the plant life returned. About one hundred years later the gods called a meeting.
They were discussing making more creations as they had done before, this lead to them deciding to bring back designs they had not looked at since creating the human's. They hoped, doing this, would help human's be better, believing in better equality and things. Which it worked, amazingly, in the beginning. Around three hundred years later the people began to evolve differently, splitting into two clans, who were at peace. Both had good rulers. Until 100 years ago, when Oztroja took a strange turn. They began to create technology, growing, much like previous human's had, but at a faster rate. It's not known exactly what has caused it, but they also decided that the world needed to be united under one leader, and now there is a war with Sinderia.
Now, you are allowed to create your own races, and I encourage it! But you must submit race lore to myself,
