Kari seems to be a rather cold woman at first impression. She has a high opinion of herself and her family and being isolated from most social contact outside of her family and Kemono, she doesn't know how to react in most social situations and defaults to what she was taught. Biography:
Kari was born to a rather large family. The Aijibana are descendants of noble warriors and their way of life still influences the family to this day. From an early age, Kari was taught how to fight; not just in combat but in other ways instilling a noble code into her and a strong spirit. Kari lived most of her childhood in the seclusion of her family's home. Things would have continued as normal for a member of the main branch of the Aijibana family if Kari did not met Kemono. Appearing as a young kitsune, Kari only felt sympathy for the young boy. He claimed that his family had been killed and so she convinced her parents to adopt him into the family. Thus began her relationship with the Kitsune who she gave the name - Kemono. As she aged and continued her training, he began to feed her ideas; dark and dangerous. Influencing her choices and her decisions. Eventually when Kari went to live on her own at eighteen, a rite of passage for all Aijibanas to learn to survive on their own, Kemono came with her. It wasn't too long after they had left the Aijibana estate that he convinced her that joining the Anti-Neko Force was a good idea. Having the wrong impression of the danger that the Neko Police Force was, Kari agreed. She also liked that joining them gave her a sense of purpose and a group of people to connect with already. Kari might be aware of the manipulative nature of Kemono and his hold over her, but this is unclear. She seems to care for him like an older sister.

There are no better words used to describe Kemono than devious, manipulative and selfish. Caring only for his own pleasures, he'll do whatever it takes to "entertain" himself. His favorite ways of doing so are through trickery. A cunning deceiver, he enjoys playing people and manipulating them into doing what he wants. Whether through giving them something they wants, playing on their emotions, or lying entirely about a situation, he rarely ever tells the full truth. He views everything as a game to play and win and is a sore loser when he loses. Kemono has a nasty temper and can be quite bratt-ish when he doesn't get his way. Still he has worked hard on his ability to lie and deceive, so he is also quite confident in his skills. Kemono has no real sense of remorse either and can be quite heartless, using anyone he can and then discarding them without a thought. He lives for excitement and for fun and gets angry too when he is deprived of such things. Too long in a boring situation and he'll act impulsively to cause some sort of conflict or problem.

What is known is that when Hikari Aijibana was thirteen, she found the five year old kitsune. He played up to her kind heart and convinced her to ask her parents to take him in, claiming his own parents were murdered. Living on the Aijibana estate, Kemono spent time going between honing his skills and forming an unbreakable hold over Kari. He slowly worked his way into her heart, ensuring that there was one person that he could always manipulate when he needed it. Kemono hated the dull life on though and when Kari went to live the Aijibana estate, he managed to convince her to take him with her saying he didn't want to be separated from his older sister. Life outside the estate was far more exciting and when he learned of the conflict between the Anti-Neko Force and the Neko Police Force, he knew that he wanted a front seat to it all. So he easily convinced Kari to join. He, himself, started to pass a human wanting to be sure that he could access as much information. Kemono didn't want to be left out. Deep down, he hopes to try and use Kari to start a larger conflict that might explode things between the two groups, hoping to turn it into a violent all-out war. To see both sides destroy the other would be the desired result. For now he bides his time and finds other ways to entertain himself.

Kemono is highly skilled in illusion magic, using it for anything, from imaginary platforms to trick people into falling to their deaths, to people that aren't really there and to hiding his own kitsune identity from anyone who isn't Kari. He uses it mainly as a mean of deception and to have fun with people. Those with strong wills have the potential to break through his illusions but they have to be aware first that it isn't real in some way.
Beyond this, Kemono also can summon small fireballs for light, or more commonly, to set things on fire. Since it's magical, it cannot be put out with normal water and must either be extinguished through magic, a dispelling or fading after an hour.
