“Oh my dearest,
You have died in my arms;
But I shall not rest,
For your blood are in my palms”

In a white marble rock,
There, he lay asleep;
While she sat in a rack,
As she weep.

“I call upon you,
You who grants requests
For I have no one, but you
As I take this quest”

A dark feather fell
As a man appeared;
Wings and robe, red like hell,
Face, shaped like a pear.

“I have come upon your request,
But you must pay a price
For there is no free quest;
As I gather his soul like rice”

“Anything, anything!
Just bring my husband
For without him, I’m nothing,
Like a loose bond”

He started to write
Signs so big
Are they even right?
But she doesn’t care a fig

The signs glowed, so bright;
She felt pain in her eyes
That turned into fright;
As she got stabbed by a sharp ice.

“This is Necromancy
And you shall pay the price.
I name you, Nancy
For you have thrown the dice.”

He opened his eyes
He felt alive
And found himself staring the skies
Did the man really saved a live?

The Masked Ball

Gowns that glimmer,
Tuxedos that shimmer.
A parade in the corridor
Shall we open the door?

Floors like gold
Walls so old
Shoes like glass
Where is thy lass?

Skirts swinging each other,
Hands clasping together.
Music so sweet,
I want to weep.

I walked around,
The room was round.
I stopped in a corner
Are you Conner?

The Sea  (my first attempt on lyric poems)

Here I stand in the sea shore to watch the sun set
I see the sea and the sky together
Like how the stars appear every night to gather

I wish we could have the time be reset
So we could capture everything in a cassette
Before everything flies like a feather

I close my eyes and feel the wind in my face
It reminds me of your soft caress
That always makes my heart race
The warmth of the sea reminds me of your embrace
That always makes me feel safe

I open my eyes to see the sun gone
Just like when you said we were done
The sting of the sea reminds me of my heartache
When I am awake
And know you are gone

(Dis)Grace (my second attempt on lyric poems)

Deep down, there is that darkness
Thoughts that are full of harshness
Prejudices, biases, jaundice
Subjects too vile and full of malice

But we are humans after all
(That wishes for others to fall)
Who are imperfect and makes mistakes
(And has a tongue like snakes)

But I'm good, and you're kind
Yes, let's continue to be blind
And put on this face
To cover the disgrace
We've brought to the human race

Somewhere (my first attempt at Petrarchan sonnets. This is horrible.)

In the deepest and darkest I cower
And so She who cannot leave and follows,
Whose voice is loud and endlessly echoes,
Which torments me, I who has no power.
Her words fragrant as sweets and flowers
Yet they pierce you as painful as arrows.
You taunt me endlessly, I who is low,
Who wish you to be blown like an ember,
And I free from the tyranny and shame.
But we are tied; we are each other’s bane;
We do what you do; we speak what you speak;
We are different but we are the same;
And so I stare at my own self in pain,
As I muffle my own heart’s cries and shrieks.
