Ramsey Graham
? The Golden Eagle ?

Matti-Ceulemans-016.JPG

It was snowing quite a bit on the night of Christmas Eve in New York City. Only a few individuals wandered throughout Central Park, most of them homeless. It reminded Ramsey of how lost he seemed in this vast world. Although he wasn't fond of the snow, he had to admit that the crisp white scenery was perfect for the meeting tonight. Ramsey blew into his grey gloves to provide himself with some sort of heat. He wore an over-sized black trench coat, a blue scarf, a white cardigan underneath, blue jeans ripped at the knees, and a pair of old black boots. Unlike his usual outfits he wore, Ramsey dressed in a mannerly way today to make a good first impression on the others. He never felt more nervous in his life. After all, you don't get to meet a whole lot of your kind nowadays. A puff of white smoke escaped his parted lips, crackling at the fleshy parts due to the dry air of the cold season. Leaning forward on the railing with crossed arms, Ramsey stared across the frozen lake covered in snow. He dug the lower half of his face into the scoop of his scarf, green eyes flitting back and forth at the snowflakes effortlessly falling down on the icy surface. His sharp eyes observed the time from a tall skyscraper behind the trees: it was currently 10:21 p.m. Resting beside Ramsey's feet was a large bag of gifts for the Changelings since it was soon to be Christmas day. It was more of a gesture to say thank you for joining him this night in the cold rather than celebrating Christmas. Ramsey hoped that he wouldn't be the only one at the meeting tonight with all these gifts to hand out. The man garbed in suave clothing fluttered his eyes shut as he inhaled the scent of hot cocoa and pine. It was nice to get away from the bustling city and prying eyes once in a while. All Ramsey had to do now was patiently wait.

Daniel Tame
Daniel looked at his sister who was silent...like always. His animal sleeping in his mind, which was normal of Brent. She only talks to him when they're alone. Which makes him, when they're outside 'The talker' of the duo. Which he hates. They were walking down New York, to the central park. Where he hopes to meet people like him and his sister. Daniel didn't really meet other shifters except from his sister and his mamma. So this will hopefully be a good thing, because he had a hard time convincing his sorella to even come here.

When they had gotten the letter, he thought that maybe this would be the thing that would help all the shifters come out of hiding and live free. His sister thought otherwise, she wanted to stay hidden and keep safe. Mainly keep him safe. With their past, Daniel understood but he also knew he had to bring them her so he begged her in italian. He did it a whole week until she said she would think about it. When she finally gave in, she made him promise that if things go wrong, they would leave the group. When they got up to the heart to central park he saw a man and stare at him.

Waiting for him to start.

Hopefully this will be the start of a new life where he don't have to hide who he was.

Isia Tame
Isia was looking down silently as she was thinking about how she got here. Her

fratello just had to beg her to come here. In Italian which was a weakness of her because her mamma used to do the same when she wanted Isia to go out to the store. She shakes her head silently giggling in her mind. Her brother must had gotten it from their mamma. She looks at him smiling but then she frowns because she knew she had to protect him. All she does or do is to always protect him. Their past weighting down on her, the truth of her words held in. She doesn't talk for a reason.

When they gotten the letter, she didn't want to go. It wasn't safe and she wasn't about to let her brother get hurt...again. But he begged her for a whole week before she decided to think about it. She thought about the pros and cons. The pros outweighed the cons so she decided to go. But she made him promise her that if things go bad, they would leave the group. When she looked up, they were finally walking up to the heart. Her animal, Maya was waking up because they were close. She sees a man and watches him carefully.

She waits for him to start talking.

Hopefully this isn't going to turn bad

SAMIRA NEJEM

BENNU HERON

"It is too damn cold out here!" Sami whined to her bodyguard, one her mother chose specifically from their Changeling side of the family to protect her. He had driven her through the city, and the piles of shopping bags from Sacks and other stores were from today, all new and the most recent fashion trends. Right now she wore a brown cotton dress and over it a wool sweater, both reaching down to her knees. Her faux fur boots were almost knee-high in length and off course, ice and snow proof. But that didn't stop Sami from hating and fearing the ice, oh no, this was going to be the Russian incident all over again!

She shivered when she got out of the black Rolls Royce, one of her father's cars, her bodyguard having opened the car door for her. She stood on the sidewalk, closing her wool sweater and her thin knees shaking, she should have worn her leggings but oh well, C'est La Vie! She held out a hand to her bodyguard, who silently and obediently took her hand and helped her along the snowy ground, making sure she didn't fall. She looked around the park until she spotted the meeting place, with others there. She looked to her bodyguard, "Watch us from here, and make sure no one sees me." He nodded at her command and bowed, then she walked alone ten feet ahead to meet with the others.

That's when her eyes fell upon a very handsome man of blonde hair, good looks and beautiful green eyes. Her smile widened and she moved right up next to him, "Well, hello there! So you're here for the little shindig as well?" She pointed at her bodyguard, "He's with me, don't worry, he's a family member on my mother's side, also a changeling. Cobra, in fact." She sat daintily on the bench after brushing it off with her gloved hand, then looked up at him, "I am Samira Nejem, from Cairo, Egypt. And who might you be, dear friend?" Already she was flirting with him right off the bat.

JACKSON "NEPTUNE" WATERS

BOTTLENOSE DOLPHIN

Jackson made a "Woosh!" sound as he nimbly jumped over the stone wall to land on his feet once over it, grinning from ear to ear. "Perfect ten! Wooo!" He cheered and jumped, nearly slipping on the ice but catching himself on a tree just in time. He still wasn't used to snow yet, but it was only frozen water! Dressed in a large light blue overcoat, black gloves, dark blue baggy jeans, black winter boots, a pink beanie with a white heart on it and a red scarf to top off the mismatching outfit, he strolled down the walkway to the meeting place, whistling a happy tune on the way over.

He spotted the area and already four people were gathered there. Sweet, new friends! He bounded over and hopped over a bench near them to sit down, only to slide on the snow and fall on his rear onto the sidewalk below, "Whoa! Aw, crap!" He scuttled back up onto the bench then moved closer to the other four with a huge grin on his face, "Hiiiii guuuuys! How's it gooooiiiiin'? Name's Jaaaackson, but call me JAX! The 'X' at the end means it's 'X-treme!'" He gave them a thumbs up, was met with awkward silence, then lowered his hands and buried the lower half of his face into his red scarf. "Aw, duuuudes, I was makin' a funny there!"

Her hands were trembling as she clasped them together, trying to calm down her nerves, pressing her index finger against her thumb. It was a nervous tick she found to be effective whenever she had her moments of nervousness or she couldn't find the strength to breathe properly. However, as she closed her eyes, she focused on the winter, snowy night, letting the cold engulf her being. Elise always took comfort in the winter, loving the feeling of the fresh, icy, breeze through her skin. It was always tempting to shift into her beautiful white tiger form as she fiddled with her crystal blue pendant: wanting to feel the snow on her pelt and paws as she pranced around in the snow and ran against the freezing winter. However, because of her fear of getting caught, Elise would never dare to shift, in fact, it's been a while since she was able to be in her comfortable form. Maybe. . it was a good idea for her to go ahead and answer the call of the black paw print. Elise was on her way home from work at the restaurant since it closed earlier than normal and the bar didn't need her that night. As she arrived home, Elise was greeted with a black paw print on her doorstep, to say she was shocked was an understatement. Never in her wildest dreams would she believe that she would get called upon to meet in New York City, in Central Park, to gather. However, New York City? Would she make it on time? She was miles away from the meeting place, or rather Elise was literally on the other side of the world. Elise lives in London, England, and to get to New York City for Christmas Eve would be a little tight since she didn't even know if the flight to the U.S. would be open at this time of the night. At the same time, she never liked leaving the comforts of a place she had gotten used to, yet at the same time. . she never felt at ease with herself being among humans. Elise feared being discovered, or rather, taken noticed of because of what she is. Would Liara have wanted to her flee and into the safety of her own kind? Or would she have wanted her to stay and continue on living in secret and hiding? But, seeing the black paw print on her door caused her pendant to shine as she was being called upon. Elise couldn't resist the temptation of being free again, to break the chains that bind her, to never have to look over her shoulders, and feel the fear of being hunted by the Hunters. However, at the same time, what if it was a trap? To lure all the Changelings in one place and destroy the ones that were left? She was struggling, deciding on the best choice of action. Elise wanted a place to call home, will she be able to get that there? Surrounded by others just like herself? She was excited, overjoyed there were still more like her, yet at the same time she was worried and anxious if it wasn't true. Could she hope? She had so little time to ponder on that thought as she walked into her little apartment. Turning on the lights, Elise was greeted with a few gift bags filled with two mugs, some coffee beans, and hot coco. Walking over to the table, Elise found a note, "Elise, my darling, I won't be home for Christmas, so please take these as a gift of my gratitude and joy of knowing you over the years. It brings me great joy to see how much you've grown through the years you have arrived here. I'll see you after Christmas. -Gemma" Elise smiled softly, re-reading the note over again as she took a look at the gifts. For one person, it was one too plenty. . maybe. . if she does decide to go . . she'll give the rest of the items to the ones she'll meet as gifts. It was from the cafe / bakery she worked at and she wasn't being biased, but the coffee there was literally to die for. It was a routine to drink coffee from the cafe, especially since Gemma would brew it perfectly. She'll miss her. . Gemma. . she had been by her side ever since she moved back and found her own apartment. Elise was never good at good-byes, but, she didn't just want to leave without letting the eldery woman know. She had a been a saint to Elise, always taking care of her as Elise had done the same for her. As she finished writing her letter to Gemma, Elise had made an effort to book flight tickets to a one-way trip to the United States, more specifically to New York. Not only did she book her flight, but she called her work places to tell them that she would be gone for a while, thankfully, there were new people that were just recently hired so they wouldn't be short-staffed. It was decided, as her heart started beating rapidly, Elise chose to move away and heed the call of her kind. Gathering her luggage, she made sure to pack everything she needed, but sadly, she couldn't take everything. So, she made sure to take all of the sentimental gifts her coworkers and Gemma had given to her over the years, along with all of her clothes. As she went out of her apartment, she took a deep breathe, looking around for a short while before saying a silent goodbye before she turned on her heels and headed straight for the taxi that was heading to the airport.

Elise was in luck, she was able to get to New York City within the fort night: Christmas Eve, although she feared she may have been running a tad late. She just hoped they were still there in Central Park, yet at the same time, she felt horrible for making them wait so long. When she arrived in the states, everything was so different for her compared to being in England. Apparently, in the US, they drive on the right side and the steering wheel is on left while in England, they drove on the left side with their steering wheels on the right side. It would take her some time to get used to being somewhere so foreign to her, but, nevertheless, Elise kept a positive energy up as she made her way to the meeting place: Central Park.
This is it! She thought to herself as they arrived in the nick of time. Thanking her taxi driver, Elise made sure to pay him a considerable amount for helping her get to her destination. Getting her luggage out of the trunk and the gift bag for the ones she's meeting, Elise felt her heart racing once more, feeling slightly nervous at the people she will meet. Taking another deep breathe, she breathed in and out, steadying her breathing as she began walking towards a group of people. Elise had donned on maroon skinny pants with a long white shirt with a black trench coat, keeping herself warm enough to not be too suffocated since she enjoyed the cold. Her stormy blue eyes scanned her surroundings as she was greeted by a few people: three men and two ladies. Should she greet them? Clearing her throat, Elise spoke softly, loud enough for the group of people to hear her but low enough so she wouldn't disturb others who were around the park, "Hello, everyone. I'm so sorry for coming late, I hope you weren't waiting too long? It's nice to meet everyone, my name is Elise." She finished, as she spoke to the group as a whole, not specifically talking to anyone. "Merry Christmas, Eve!" She greeted cheerily as her stormy, blue-grey eyes glistened underneath the lamp post. Her eyes followed a young man, wearing a black trench coat, as her eyes moved along, seeing a woman standing closely to the young man that was looking over the edge of the bridge. Next, her eyes turned to a young fellow, that was quite cheerful which contrasted the young lady sitting on the same bench as him. She was quiet while the boy that was on the other side of her, showed more of a talkative side. Elise observed as she figured out that the silent female and the male sitting next to her were fraternal twins. She couldn't help but wonder what it's like to have siblings. Elise felt many different emotions radiating from the group she was with: excitement, annoyance, nervousness, concern, and relief. Her lips formed a brighter smile as she raised up the bag of goodies she had, "I brought a little something for everyone, since well. . it's almost Christmas and who doesn't like presents, right?" She asked as she giggled slightly, taking out one of the gifts and showing them to the group. Elise was still slightly nervous, however, because she was used to communicating and talking amicably with her customers, she was on autopilot, taking the chance to get to know the people she would be living with.

cute-winter-outfits-2012-32.jpg

Lumisuulteli bored the plane at Helsinki Airport. She was not thrilled for the 9 hour flight she was about to endure. She was sitting in 'Coach', buying her ticket last minute meant not a lot of choices. She was first to arrive to her seat of three. She looked at the seat number and rolled her eyes. 25B meant she was going to sit between two people. Lumisuulteli sat down in the middle seat and pulled her coat in close. She removed the grey scarf, settling it on her lap.

The plane was about to depart and still the seats to her sides were empty. She smiled to herself, happy to luck out. But as fate always had in any of her past-luck endeavors, it was deceiving. Two rowdy men quickly made their way down the isle and to her empty seats. After putting their carry-on in the overhead compartment, the smaller and presumably younger one of the two made his way across Lumisuulteli's lap saying out loud,

"Excuse me." She tried her best to tuck in her knees. The two began a noisy conversation with her ears trapped between them. Sighing heavily she closed her eyes.

Twenty minutes after take off, the 'Seat-belts On' was turned off. Despite her eyes closed, she didn't get a moment rest. She felt as if a telephone, being spoken to on each side of the 'line'. At this point she knew too much about them. They are brothers from America, one came to pick the other one up. The smaller one to her left was named Shawn, he was somewhere in his early twenties and was currently unemployed. Regardless of his Surfer-look, he had gone to school as a lawyer, but playing around on the job got him fired and he was scared to tell their mom about it. The noisier one with a crew-cut was a company survey-est; Even now he was wearing a suit and tie. His name was Ben, in his mid-twenties and just broke up with his long time girlfriend.

Being used to the quiet library their conversation was beginning to irritate Lumisuulteli. She was going to suppress it but the feeling of something invading her space, she reacted. Ben had reached across in an attempt to hit his younger brother, but Lumisuulteli had grabbed his wrist, twisting it away. She then smacked the inside of his elbow causing his arm to compact and held his empty hand to his throat. Her eyes were in angry slits of mossy-dirt.

"What are you doing to my brother!" Shawn announced in a surprised tone. Immediately Lumisuulteli let go and her stern face softened. She held her hands up like a robber being caught by the cops. With a slight accent, her voice originating farther back in her throat than a native speaker. Her vowels being pronounced higher, all together in a rhythmical strings.

"Sorry, I've been taking a lot of self defense classes recently." She lied, not wanting to let anyone know her full capabilities.

"That's okay." Ben's stunned face had a slow blush creeping in.

Once Ben snapped out of it a bit he began talking to her.

"What's your name?"

"Lumi."

"Are you from New York?"

"Nope, just wanted to see Central Park."

"Ah, you'll love it! They have all kinds of things to do! Let's see, there are-..." The flight continue like this. Lumisuulteli only answered simply and when there was a too personal question she just sat there quietly.

The 9 hour flight due to turbulence and weather conditions turned into a 13 hour flight. Then when they landed it was another 45 minutes. At luggage claim she grabbed her suit case and headed outside.

Lumisuulteli's coat was fully zipped and buttoned. Her hands gloved. As she stepped outside, the cold washed over her face, making it's way to red-ing her nose. As her breath escaped her lips, a white cloud raised and dissipated to the sky. The icy air whistled around her ears, making her skin tingle and sting in hum. Snug inside many layers of clothes, Lumisuulteli looked closely at the GoogleMap Directions she had printed off. At home they made sense but now everything was backwards; The vehicles were the size of tanks. Fingers and toes turned numb, but to her it was a comforting feeling.

"Hey Lumi!" Ben called out, Shawn following close behind.
'What is it with these Americans that make them so trusting of everyone' she thought as they stopped beside her. "Shawn and I decided we couldn't let a lady walk all by herself here. There are some people who enjoy robbing foreigners."

Lumisuulteli agreed to allow them to walk her to the subway station. Every step she took left fresh, crisp footprints in the snow, making her demur somber. Once on the subway, the brother's left. 3 stops later Central Park.

Snowflakes fall gently from the sky, tickling the end of her nose; tempting her to stick out her tongue and have a taste. But she was suppose to be observing. She only stood about 15 or 20 yards away.

So far she only counted 7 people.

3 Women

3 Men

1 Man who looked he would lay his life on the line. ((Samira's Bodyguard))

The other six looked cheerful, well at least not emitting killing auras. Her bag slipped and popped open. Everything, including her undergarments went spilling on the icy ground.

"Perkele!" She cursed aloud as she scrambled to fold and put everything in her bag in it's rightful place. Distressed, frustration began to sour her attitude. She was probably caught at this point but damn it, she had to make sure her toothbrush was layed precisely in the center.

Ramsey Graham
? The Golden Eagle ?

Matti-Ceulemans-016.JPG

Ramsey started rubbing both of his clothed hands together to create friction for a source of heat. He proceeded to place both palms against his thinned-out cheeks. Though the pristine snow was scenic and beautiful, every snowflake that fell upon his exposed skin stung. The white powder of winter never stopped its freezing reign. His chin lifted up towards the dark sky, grass-green irises glistening as they drank in the bright stars and full moon. Solemn clouds rolled by as the wind picked up its pace. As he stared back across the frozen lake, Ramsey suddenly felt quite nauseous, a gloved hand clenching at his churning stomach. He had been standing out there for over two hours, too fretful and excited about meeting the Changelings. His stubbornness got the best of him. To top it off, Ramsey had been working hard for his jobs throughout the day, making sure that he made enough cash to provide for his new family. "A new family." He thought. "And a new start". Ramsey prayed that he would live up to everyone's expectations. He drifted apart from his own kinsfolk at a young age, so he grew up to be independent and unconstrained. While packing each present last night, he thought about what each Changeling would be like. What were their personalities like? What animals could they transform into? These unanswered questions left him restless that night. Ramsey was snapped out of his trance when his breaths became shallow. He started throwing a severe coughing fit, his stomach cramping from the lack of air in his lungs. Although Ramsey had lived in New York for a few years, the winter of the big city never ceased to make him ill. The polluted air only worsened his deep intake for oxygen. He bent forward a little over the railing as if he were to throw up that very instant. He halted his action when he heard two pairs of feet softly crush the snow beneath their shoes.

Immediately standing up straight, Ramsey slowly turned on his heels to face his first guests. A small grin with dimples on either side of the friendly smirk was masked on his sour face as he blankly stared a bit at both the male and female. "Welcome, welcome. I'm Ramsey." He would say in a rather awkward way, his voice hoarse and croaky. The two seemed quiet, so for a moment, Ramsey didn't talk further in case they felt too uncomfortable. Judging by the way the two stood next to each other, they seemed to be related to one another. Ramsey was always bad at guessing and assuming things. A minute of silence went by before Ramsey was reminded of something from the falling snow. "Oh, um, here, I have gifts. Merry Christmas Eve." As he softly spoke with slurred pronunciation, Ramsey pulled out two nicely wrapped presents from the large store bag resting against his leg, placing each of them in their hands with gentle care. "I hope you guys didn't have a hard time getting here." He would comment as he thought about the rest of the gifts in the bag. He stayed up late packaging each individual item to the best of his crafting abilities. The girl's present had inside a red scarf wrapped tightly around a five-book boxed set of the infamous Song of Ice and Fire series. The boy's presents contained a pair of Bluetooth earbuds and a Vanilla Mastercard Gift Card. Ramsey could feel the heat of his forehead rising, but he needed to stay strong for the group. He would frown to himself and cross his arms in front of his chest, his head drooping rather low.

(
@DreamsAreForDreamers )

The cold was taking its toll on Ramsey's health. It took advantage of his lack of sleep and strength. The dark rings underneath his eyes were evident of his sleep deprivation. Ramsey nearly fell asleep from where he stood until he heard a girl call out towards the group. He briefly coughed into the scoop of his scarf before examining the female before him. She was quite an expensive beauty, swathed in exquisite clothing. Ramsey had to admit that her appearance made his heart skip a beat, and he couldn't determine whether that was a good or bad thing. He hid his rose-kissed cheeks in his blue scarf as he eyed the woman making her way towards the group. Ramsey cleared his throat before speaking up through the blankets of descending snow. "Welcome, Samira. I'm Ramsey. Merry Christmas Eve." He'd say as he locked his calm and warm gaze onto hers. Ramsey pulled out a present for her. Her small gift consisted of a matching necklace and bracelet. Though it wasn't as expensive as her faux fur boots, it still held some worthy value. The long trench coat flapped back against the wind as Ramsey walked towards the bodyguard to give him his present as well. It was a gift mostly filled with holiday treats, such as peppermint bark and iced sugar cookies. Ramsey noticed out of his peripheral vision a bright pink beanie and turned his attention towards the enthusiastic fellow. "Hey there buddy!" Ramsey would shout loud enough for the happy Changeling to hear but quiet enough so that his voice wouldn't echo throughout the still park. He would wave his gloved hand in the air to welcome the merry male. Jax's bubbly personality seemed to enlighten his dismal mood despite the vast snowflakes and freezing winds. He went up to Jax to give him his gift before returning to his spot against the rails. The present contained a nice sea-blue collared t-shirt and four cute sushi plushies. The strain of his shouting dried out the back of his throat, his face speedily buried in the crook of his arm to cover his raspy coughs. Why didn't he think of a warmer place to meet at? Better yet, why were they outside? What kind of a host was he for having the guests meet in the middle of night while it was snowing? Ramsey had to pull himself together, though the exhaustion of enduring the gelid weather was weighing on him.

(
@DarlingWaylonPark )

Time seemed to slow down as his narrowed eyes would glance momentarily back at the clock, the hands barely moving an inch. It was getting late, and as the snow started piling up, it would be harder for them to find a place to sleep for tonight. There was only one option available: he would have to provide his apartment for shelter. It would be a tight fit as it was a two-bedroom apartment, but it was better than trudging through the mounds of snow to find a dingy hotel. The cars on the streets started dying down, only a few taxi cabs arriving to-and-fro the airports. Christmas Eve was supposed to be filled with holiday spirit, but the flurries of snow and frigid winds this year was too harsh for anyone to endure. Ramsey decided that he would somehow make it up to the Changelings for all that they endured arriving here in the heart of Central Park. Finally, the next Changeling arrived. Ramsey observed her figure from head-to-toe, hoping that his staring didn't seem too odd or uncomfortable. He couldn't quite read her, the beautiful blues of her eyes almost losing him in them. The way they sparkled naturally enticed the male to draw himself closer to her. "Hey Elise, Merry Christmas Eve to you too. I'm Ramsey." He'd say in a husky voice as he noticed the bag of gifts at her side. "That's very kind of you, thank you for that." Ramsey exhaled with a hot cloud of smoke rising in the starry night sky. He reached down at his giant bag to exchange a gift with her. This one contained a miniature indoor bonsai tree and a boxed set of a variety of tea packets.

(
@crucialstar )

A steady hush of wind veiled the land, the world around them imprisoned in an eternal winter. The tip of his nose and ears flushed red from the chilly climate. He blinked the feathery ice crystals that fell upon his lashes and lightly shook the snow off his shaggy hair. Looking ahead at one of the park's paths, Ramsey noticed in the distance a distressed female attempting to repack all of her spilled belongings in the luggage. He frowned to himself as he pushed himself off from the railings with his elbows and briskly jogged towards the female Changeling, bending down in front of her with knees dug deep in the snow. "Damn, that's a shame. Here, let me help you." He would politely look away as he brushed off as much snow as he could from her clothes, sloppily folding them back in. "Sorry for that. The name's Ramsey." Ramsey shot up from his kneeling position and felt a second wave of nausea hit him. It felt as if he were rocking on a ship sailing through a severe storm. His body quivered, but the large trench coat shielded his shaking figure. He quickly trudged back to retrieve his bag through the two feet of snow to hand out the present for the girl. It included a large coffee mug stuffed with a package of French Roast coffee and a Starbucks gift card. Ramsey finally felt his knees go weak from standing too long in his fragile condition, his limp figure plopping itself down at the edge of the bench Samira sat upon.

Elise blinked, as she lowered the gift on the ground, feeling that it was getting heavy for her to keep holding onto. But, seeing that as soon as she spoke, the first person to notice her was the male wearing a black trench coat, a blue scarf, and ripped jeans. Was he not cold in this weather? Or did he enjoy the cold, like she did? But, what intrigued her the most was that, he seemed to stare directly in her eyes, never faltering for a second, despite his tall stature compared to her petite size. She never blinked, only kept the silence, as she gazed in the male's eyes, searching for an answer, or anything to know about him. She would have looked longer, if only the gust of wind hadn't blown between them as she covered her eyes, protecting them from the cold. Due to the intrusion, that moment was lost for a bit as she heard a husky yet low voice speak to her that made shivers go down her spine. If it was a good or bad reaction, she didn't know, but ignored it when he introduced himself. She responded with a smile, "Merry Christmas Eve, Ramsey. It's nice to meet you." Elise blinked as Ramsey had also a gift to trade with her as she gave him her gift, taking his, switching the gifts to each other. She was speechless as she saw the nicely wrapped package, "This. . I . . " she began, not knowing what to say as no words came out but, "thank you. ." She whispered in the end, staring in awe at the package. Looking back at Ramsey, Elise's lips formed an even wider and genuine smile, as her eyes expressed her shock and happiness. Elise could only hope the male before her liked coffee, especially flavored coffee. It was definitely a nice night for some hot coffee. However, a voice got both of their attention as Elise gasped, seeing another young maiden with silver-grey hair. It was such a beautiful color. Before Elise could rush to her side and help her with her belongings, Ramsey already got it covered. She couldn't help but continue smiling, the first thought she had of the male was the he was kind. It had been a while since she felt true kindness and it radiated off of the male she had just met.

Turning to the others, Elise gave them a small smile, as she walked over to the two girls and two guys.
"Quite a chilly night, isn't it?" She asked, making a little small talk as she walked towards the bridge, looking over at the scenery. Elise closed her eyes, taking in her surroundings, letting the cold air flow through her hair, as she took in a deep breathe. Her pendant shined under the moonlight sky as she felt an urge to want to play in the snow, letting the white snow camouflage her pelt. However, she gripped at the edge of the bridge, resisting the temptation. Is she another step closer to being free? At the corner of her eyes, she saw a bodyguard and couldn't help but assume it was for the well-dressed woman, though, she seemed as if she would freeze any time soon if they'd stay out here for any longer. Speaking of which, is there more of them? Or is that it? Elise didn't know how many people she was meeting, but, she turned around, observing more about the people she would be getting to know. Elise didn't want to assume anything before actually meeting them personally, but she hoped they'd all be able to get along. However, Elise's eyes followed Ramsey as he looked . . weak? Sluggish? She frowned slightly, walking over to him as she saw his figure plopping down on the seat next to the well-dressed woman. "Ramsey?" She called out, softly as she made her way over to face him. However, what she was greeted with was a tired male and at the corner of her eye, she saw a knee trembling slightly. Could he not handle the cold? Frowning slightly, Elise walked closer to Ramsey, gently settling the gift on her side and leaving her luggage next to the seat, she gently place a hand on Ramsey's as she knelt down slightly and jumped at that touch. She hoped Ramsey hadn't mind the close contact and invading his personal space. In fact, Elise had never done that before, but she felt as if something was wrong. . and she wouldn't risk anything, especially when he was so kind to her. "You're frozen solid, Ramsey." She gasped slightly, whispering, concern lacing her voice as she gazed into his eyes. "How long have you waited for us?" She asked, in a slightly small voice. But, then turned her attention towards the others, giving them another small smile, "Why don't we all go somewhere warmer? I hope we don't all turn into popsicles from being out here for so long." She joked lightly as she turned her attention back to Ramsey and gently stood back up. Looking around Central Park, to say she didn't know where to do go was an understatement. "Ramsey, do you have a place? Should we go? We can't stay out here for too long or else someone will fall ill." At the word "ill", she stared directly at Ramsey and gently lend out a hand, hoping he'd take her help to stand back up. "Or would anyone else know where we can stay for the night?" Elise asked, urgency lacing in her voice. She felt more than horrible for making all of them wait in the cold for so long, she wanted to make it up for them as soon as possible. But, the only way she can do that is if they found shelter for the night. "The gifts I brought includes mugs and coffee beans, it would be nice to be around something warm now, right?" For now, she just wanted to get all of them somewhere comfortable, before anyone else fell ill. Elise wouldn't mind taking care of all of them. . . but. . it would be her fault if they did become sick, or worse, caught pneumonia.

Isia Tame
Isia looks at the man named Ramsey and nods softly taking her gift. She thanked him by pointing to her brother who explained that she was mute and has been since she was 15 but she had a way to thank him. She tap his shoulder twice. When she went mute, she decided to make sighs or dots to speak to Daniel when they are in public. Her brother then explains what it means. She opens her gift seeing the scarf and smiles softly then the books and she in the first time in a while and smiles largely. Isia shows Daniel and he laughs saying to Ramsey, she loves these books.

She then taps his shoulder 4 times with her brother explaining that how you say her name in her dot way. Which was Isia. She then puts the scarf around her neck softly and smiles at the man softly. She hears the girl talk to her and then asks if anyone had a place to stay. She looks at her brother and nods softly giving him the ok to suggest their place.

Daniel Tame
Daniel takes his gift saying thank you. He looks at Ramsey who seems like a great man and looks at Isia who was looking at him to explain why she hadn't talk. "My sister is mute. Which is why she hasn't thanked you yet. She has been since she was 15 but she has a way to thank you though. " He watches as Isia taps his shoulder twice meaning thanks. He loves his sister because she made this language to help understand her better when they were out in the open. "That means thank you. Oh and my name is Daniel. " He then looks at his gift opening it and looking inside it and then smiles happily. Seeing the Bluetooth earphones and the gift card. He grins "I've been looking for these headphones forever. " He then turns to his sister and sees her grinning at him showing him her gifts. "Oh my.." He laughs softly turning to Ramsey "My sister loves that books!"

Daniel then looks around at the group softly seeing a very well made girl and an nice looking girl. Then a boy who seem to be more like a child. He then turns back to Isia and Ramsey and sees her tapping his shoulder 4 times. "She's saying her name. It's Isia. " As Ramsey leaves to gift the other people, he hears a girl, Eliza coming towards him and saying it was chilly and nods. When she saw Ramsey was about to pass out then he wonder how long he did wait for him. Daniel hears her asks if anyone had a place to go to. He then looks at his sister who nods allowing him to say what he wanted to say. "We have a place. It's new and kinda small but it is warm though. It's home for however we need it to be until we find our real home. " Daniel says clearly in the night looking down "....So how about it?" He mumbles nervous

SAMIRA NEJEM

BENNU HERON

Never before had Samira blushed so red, and in the dim glow of the park lights it seemed to stand out as her eyes locked with Ramsey's. What an interesting man with such an exotic name as that! She was not charmed easily, but this man seemed to work an unknown magic on her. She smiled and gratefully took the present he gave her, "Why, thank you, Ramsey, and please call me Sami." She opened her gift and gasped at the necklace and bracelet, "Oh, you do know how to charm a woman, don't you?!" She squealed in delight and grinned up at him, "Thank you, thank you so much~!"

Immediately she put the presents on, both her bracelet and the necklace, and while they didn't exactly match her wardrobe, these were from the man she was already checking out as a suitable mate. She watched him give gifts to others as they arrived, the one boy arriving dramatically, and she looked to the new girl Elise who seemed to observe that Ramsey was sick. Samira looked to a pair of siblings and heard them offer their home. She would offer them a place to stay, but these were all Changelings, and her father did not know her secret, thankfully. She looked to Ramsey as he sat on the same bench as her, nearly collapsing, then looked to the sibling pair, sitting up straight and making herself the authority figure. Egyptian Princess at her best.

"Tell me, you two, where is this home of yours? We must leave now, I can have my bodyguard drive us all there in my personal limousine, it will be warm in there and we won't have to walk." Of course, when she said 'we' she meant herself, after all royalty always spoke in terms of 'we.'

JACKSON "NEPTUNE" WATERS

BOTTLENOSE DOLPHIN

Jackson grinned up Ramsey, "S'up, duuuuude!" He waved back to the guy, who seemed really cool to the dolphin changeling. He gasped when given a gift, and he pouted up at him, "Aw, b-but I didn't get you anything cause I'm broke as a joke! But it's not a joke, cause I really am broke!" He gave a sheepish smile, "Thanks so much though, dude, you're awesome in sauce! Or, was it awesome-sauce...? Either way, you're cool, man!" He opened his gift and saw the shirt and sushi plushies, and he laughed, "Neat! I love it!" He cuddled the plushies close to his chest and saw Elise enter now, saying she too had gifts for people. He gasped, "More presents?! Damn it, why can't I have any money to spend on you guys??" He pouted and laid down on his own bench, curled up and freezing.

He looked to the man from earlier who had helped someone with their luggage and then collapsed on the bench beside the snobby girl. Jackson perked up when said girl mentioned they could drive somewhere warm, and be warm in her really long car. "Whoa, that's cool! I always wanted to ride in one of those!" He rose and slid on one foot via an ice patch to the bench Ramsey and Samira sat at and knelt beside Ramsey, rubbing his back and looking concerned, "Hey, you alright pal? We should prolly leave, it's for the best, so we can chat about stuff!"
