Walking Pokemon Dictionary
Thank you,
Onmyoji
, for allowing me to do this. :3
With the thanks out of the way, this thread is for sharing your Pokemon OCs (whether they be trainer or Pokemon), Canon Characters made into Pokemon or Pokemon trainers, isekais, the likes. They don't have to be perfect, they can WIPs, they can be something you made when you were five. If you want to give or receive constructive feedback, make sure the post says they want constructive feedback and please take the conversation elsewhere (as I somehow try to stay polite and fail) so this thread can stay true to being a showcase thread. :3
The only rules are to be respectful, keep it within the fandom of Pokemon (or a part of Pokemon if it's a crossover fandom), please stay in accordance to RPN rules, lol. If you do BBCode and you want mobile users to read your stuff, please keep it accessible/readable via mobile.
How you express your character can be in a character sheet, a Google Doc (make sure it's set to Viewer only ), an elevator style-pitch, an interview style introduction for your character, or maybe even an introduction fanfiction style. Maybe even an artistic reference sheet~. However you want to express it, do so. :3 No matter if it's simple or detailed, there is no judging~.
Add as many characters as you want. :3 Even in separate posts.

Name: Raphael Burkhardt
Age: 26 years
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual (female leaning)
Appearance: At 5'10" (178 cm) and weighing in at 132 lbs (60 kg) with minimal lean muscle, Raphael is what you'd expect from a doctor who does some physical activity. He's not strong, but he's not weak either. He wears black square glasses, is pale, and has brown eyes and brown hair that goes down to his neck in the back. He usually wears a white lab coat over a dress shirt and tie, and dark green pants with brown shoes. However, since he'll be in the desert, he'll wear a simple sky blue dress shirt, a vest with many pockets, a yellow bandanna around his neck, biege khaki pants with a belt for utility pouches, and mountain boots with what looks like legwarmers around the cuff of his boots. However, it's to keep the sand from entering into his boots and to soak up sweat to cool him off. He'll also be wearing a brown backpack with all of this things for desert travel. He also wears Safety Goggles, which sit on his head like a Digimon Protagonist.
Personality: Raphael took to life with a pragmatic viewpoint: Don't spend too much energy worrying about something he couldn't change. For this reason, he's calm, got a level head, organized and neat, and is rational. He's always there to figure something out, to calm someone of irrational thoughts, and is also quite selfless. If it will make someone feel better, he'll give it up just to make sure they are faring far better, even if he isn't in the best shape. However, this calm behavior disappears upon seeing something he's interested in, completely turning into a fanboy of sorts and geeking out about something he adores - that being Psychic-Types and medical discoveries and that of architectural findings. One of the main reasons why he goes on travels through the desert is to not only help those who need a doctor in the team who is experienced in heat strokes and dehydration, but to also find anything that could help illnesses. It doesn't matter what it is, just as long as there is some validity. Of course, with travels like these, there may be unexplainable phenomena or other such interesting folklore that might actually be real, and he's prone to believing they exist.
History: Having grown up in the world of science through his parents within Hoenn's Mauville City, he was always learning new things as he grew older. His mother being a scientist working with Pokemon and his father being a surgeon who worked with humans, he was given quite the education. Of course, the one thing he loved most was just going outside and exploring the world. When he realized he could mix his love for exploration and his want to be as successful as his parents, he went for it. He abstained from going on a Pokemon journey like all of his friends in school. They tried peer pressuring him, and his parents went so far as to ask him what Pokemon he wanted. While Raphael loved Pokemon, he liked working with humans more. But he didn't want to be a surgeon nor a scientist. He instead wanted to be a generic doctor, but one who helped out in the field. Despite the bit of confusion, his parents put him on the track to go through high school, then college, and told him what classes he needed and worked him through the cycles to get what he needed.
They also gifted him an Audino in high school, the two becoming fast friends as the two were rather similar. It turned out Raphael was partial to medical fieldwork, as it gave him a thrill and he loved flexing his altruism (as much of an oxymoron as that sounds). While he still wanted to be a doctor, he wanted to specialize in a particular kind of medical work. He started on his first fieldwork in the jungle when he was 22 as he was aiming for his Master's Degree. Of course, it didn't end up so well, considering he was new. Despite all that he'd learn, he lost his cool and his teammates suffered, forcing them to have to be pulled back out. It was in this instance where he saved his teammates, but he felt haunted by his first failure as a field medic for exploration purposes.
Ten field cases later, and he likes to think of himself as a seasoned explorer, who specialized in desert terrain and travel in hot conditions. In these field cases, he caught Pokemon. A Pyukumuku during one of his travels in the jungle hitting beachside. Of course, the Pyukumuku, while being rather experienced in fights, doesn't listen to him. He caught a Falinks on his third expedition in some ancient ruins, and then his fourth Pokemon he caught during his last expedition in the forest near some grasslands - a Skiddo. Because of his tenure and his achievement of obtaining a Master's Degree and on his track to getting a Doctorate's Degree, he received an invitation to not only give him the big break he needed for his degree, but to also give him an experience he'd never forget while they could use some help with someone who was experienced in desert work, as his six field cases were all desert related.
