Somewhere south of Hoover Dam...
Standoff. Two silhouettes standing no more than ten feet from the other. Red puddled at the foot of one, who was barely standing, but still clutching their pistol tightly. Both opponents had their weapons raised, the sun slowly setting to the west. They both knew that it wouldn't take long for the weaker of the two to bleed out, but they still stood, unsure of the other's current capabilities.
And a few moments later, they collapsed. The other put away their gun, and slowly walked back along the cliff face. The sun slowly set, the last shimmers of light illuminating the blood that covered the ground.
