Personality: Martin has a very closed off and paranoid personality. He tends to stay away from people as for some reason people have been known to suffer random shocks or receive minor and sometime serious burns if they touch him for to long. He distrust electronics due to them randomly breaking down or never working correctly for him(Although he feels a strange attraction to anything that emits or runs off of electricity, much like how a starving man is attracted to food.)

Bio: The only thing Martin remembers of his past life is that he had three siblings. He can’t remember their names, faces, or even genders but he remembers that they were always scared of him. They avoided him like he was a monster and even though he can’t remember their faces he can imagine the smiles of relief they had when ascendance came to take him away.

Ability:
Electric vampire: Martin can naturally conduct electricity at a slow rate however his body also naturally drains energy from anything with a charge when that item comes in contact with his skin.

Volt blaster: Martin can take energy he has produced or drained and form it into a ball of which he can through at high speeds. The ball will explode into a blast of electricity on contact with something.

• Personality: Anna yearns for the feeling of freedom, be that spatial or social. She is adventurous, seeking challenge, and denying that it can stop her, even if she is clearly not equipped to deal with that challenge. She is humbled by authority, though not be her own limitations.
  
  She is naturally curious, sometimes being seen as rude when butting into conversations to find out what's going on. She is naive, not understanding why others act the way they do, after all, everyone has the same experiences, right? So why should they act differently?
  
  She is selfish, attached to her possessions and not willing to share. She is rather unequipped to deal with certain social situations and doesn't see how she is supposed to. She is not very open to others with her emotions and can't resolve tension by talking it out.
• Bio: Anna grew up by the forest with her family. They had stayed in their neighborhood, and with the help of neighbors they had begun to repair damage and rebuild those beyond it. There were a few children near her age, and it was with these children that she would play, discovering small knickknacks in the ruins and running about, climbing and exploring in the nearby woods. She was close with her father, helping him get water from nearby, hearing his stories of "back when I was her age" and "your mother would".
  
  No one suspected anything was special about her or any of the other children, though they would occasionally end up in some weird situations. In one case, Anna had lifted a fallen tree off another child when they were playing deep in the woods. When explaining how the child had gotten hurt, the parents imagined a much smaller tree.
  
  When the government came to test the children, they took her away. She never knew what became of the other children, or if any of them had abilities. She knew for sure that she didn't, and the government was just making a big deal out of nothing.
  
  Anna was wary of the facility and nostalgic for the home she could barely remember, but while the facility provided constant security, it also came with probing and isolation. She became fearful of invasion, of personal space, of privacy. She wanted out, a breath of fresh air. One time she mentioned this during a checkup. She was moved to a new room with more security.
• Ability: The ability to manipulate the gravity of an object.
  
  Everything would have a certain field of gravity, stronger fields, ie bigger objects, would be harder to manipulate. She would be able to enhance or minimize the pulls of gravity on an object. At an extreme level negating Earth's pull on a pencil, and instead having it be attracted to the ceiling or something. At more of a beginner level, only being able to slightly lessen Earth's pull on that pencil, thereby making it lighter.

Appearance: Sean stands at a height of six feet and one inch. He weighs in at an average of 140 pounds. His build is overall thin and tall with a slightly toned muscle mass. Sean has jet-black, shoulder-length hair along with light, gray-blue eyes. (image below)

Personality: Normally quiet and well-spoken, Sean can get overly cocky when excited. He considers the feelings of others, but with a grain of salt. He is a realist at heart and looks every situation in the eye.

Bio: Sean was taken from his family at the age of five. This has reduced his memories of such to nothing more than a fleeting face every now and then. He has absolutely no recollection of life before the facility. His time spent under the care of Ascendence was neither pleasant or notable. The past 14 years of his life are a blur to him. A mix of bizarre, sometimes harsh, experiments coupled with next-to-no contact with the other kids that were being tested.

Ability: Manipulation of sense. At his current state, Sean is able to conjure minor illusions in others' sight. His power is limited and weak, so he is not able to control what the person sees, instead, leaving it up to the person's sub conscience. Too much strain and Sean can suffer from varying dizziness, migraines, blackouts, gaps in memory, or even amnesia if strained too hard, too quickly.

Personality:
Quiet, shy, and overtly polite, Todd is a bit of a pushover. He's very kindhearted and is always ready to help those needier than him, which often leads to him getting taken advantage of. He doesn't really mind as long as he isn't doing anything he considers morally wrong. He just likes making others happy.

Todd doesn't like violence, and prefers to use peaceful means of negotiation. As he sees it, the world is in rough shape as it is, and needless fighting wont help anyone.

Bio:
Before living at the facility, Todd lived with his mother in the shambles of what was once New York City. He hated seeing his mother work so hard for his well being, so he would sneak out on his own to find food for the family.

He had always been fascinated by birds since he was a toddler, and was often seen surrounded by them. At first, he thought birds just liked being around him, but he soon learned that he had some power over them, and could have the birds perform tasks for him. He was pleased with himself, and found that with the help of the birds, he could find more than twice as much food than usual, and could keep himself and his mother well fed.

One day while scavenging food, a man held him at knife point, and attempted to rob him. In a panic, Todd had summoned a large flock of crows to attack the assailant. The crows clawed at his face, tearing off most of the skin and leaving him for dead. Todd was horrified by what he had done and sprinted home to his mother in tears to confess everything.

Unfortunately for Todd, word of the incident spread quickly, and it wasn't too long before his tiny apartment was visited by agents from the Ascendance Facility to tear him away from his mother.

Since then, Todd has been afraid of his powers, and rather uneasy around most birds. The only exception being his pet crow the facility had him keep, who he cares for immensely. He named him Roger and they are practically inseparable.

Ability:
Control over birds. He can communicate telepathically with them, and have them do his bidding. At the moment, Todd is struggling with his bird phobia, and has difficulty getting most birds to listen to him.​

Personality: tbw. I have a horrible time writing these before i use the character.

Bio: Eric doesnt have much memory of before the facility. Its been so long. However a single image always stays in his mind. A woman. His mother,he assumes. But other than that, he knows nothing.
Because of his ability , his cell is constantly cooled, limiting as much energy exposure as possible

Ability:
Energy absorbtion and redirection. Eric has the ability to absorb and channel most all forms of energy, if he can learn how, witch allows him to do amazing feats of physical prowess.

This can range from incredible strength, amazing speed, to inhuman healing.

As of right now he can only absorb thermal energy. But he may be capable of other forms.

Note:
Erics eyes are a strong indicator of his current charge. While at full charge, his eyes glow a bright silver, but when drained they become near pitch black.

Personality: actions speak louder than words, and doubly so for him. He would rather take charge and lead than sit behind and watch. His silence can be mistaken for apathy, but he does truly care for his patients.

Bio: he grew up in the fallout of Europe, just North of Venice. Impoverished and left alone on the streets he made his own name. Growing up on the streets toughened him up, and he used this knowledge to get into university where he studied biology and human anatomy. From there he found ascendance and rose to the top, ordering the construction of the facilities the patients live in.

  Personality: As fiery and passionate as his abilities, Cyrus is an astounding individual with a strong sense of unselfishness and heroism, the same traits that get him in trouble in the first place. He is quite the attention seeker when familiar with the crowd, and also a great bit prideful with himself. Aside from that he is also a bit of a tease, pushing his limits with his jokes and the extremity of his sarcastic humor. However, everyone has their bad side. While generally seeming charismatic and cheerful to the public, it is those closer to him that see the flaws in his persona. He has a great many doubts running through his head, and tries to carry the heavy burden of leadership to avoid making vital mistakes; a trait that makes him a bit of a hindrance when in important situations. His powers also give him rare bouts of overheating for an extended period, which irritates him and makes him more prone to anger and violence.

  Cyrus is the child of a single mother, however it is well known to him that she is not his biological parent, she was married to his father before separation. It is a portion of his life that he hardly believes affected his future, as it was during a young age and he was hardly familiar with either of his biological parents. He grew up healthy, had a normal childhood and went to school like any other children his age. He was a heavy supporter or reviving the metal-working age, a trait he never quite understood in himself until his powers were revealed years later. It was a fascination that he held onto and maintained years prior to capture.
  
  At the age of fifteen, his powers surfaced, luckily it was a private event where none that he was aware of had any eyes kept on him. Flames spout from his fingertips, and it was a joy he kept to himself, not even his mother was fully aware of the situation he had thrown himself into.
  
  At sixteen, his powers resurfaced in a new way, being metal manipulation. It was this event that changed his life forever, and resulted in his capture. A harmless street fight with some students at school, the reason as pointless as a circle. Of course at the time, one of Cyrus's bouts of anger was the cause, but he was yet to be aware of it. He was pinned to the ground, with three students of similar size raining down on him with their fists. Luckily, or unluckily, a manhole cover on the street was a few feet away. Pure adrenaline rushing through his veins, Cyrus willed the plate to come flying above him to ram the three other students. He was surprised himself for it happening, the three flying off and landing on the street beside him. It would have been harmless, until the three were reported to have several shattered ribs, a few fractures in one of the student's fists, and even one landing a concussion. The scene was raised to local law enforcement, and captured street footage was able to record Cyrus's abilities and actions.
  
  The event was wiped clean from the local city's database, and the students were told a lie that it was Cyrus's flight-or-flight instincts that made him strong enough to lift the cover, some bodily last resort bullshit. As for Cyrus? Held for containment at the local juvenile detention center, at least until he was deemed unsafe, drugged, and brought to the facility for testing.
  
  Cyrus spent three years in the facility, his containment cell changing between a regulated freezer and then heater, both ways to test and examine his reaction to temperature differences. He was also subject to submersion, and then fire treatment. All tests passed borderline torture levels, however it was nothing he did not consent to from the start. He was different, dangerous, volatile. Cyrus accepted that he was a danger to others around him, yet did not understand how to control his own power. To nullify his abilities, he was kept sustained in near freezing temperatures, barely kept alive by his own abilities.
  
  Unbeknownst to him, he was soon to be set free. To wreak havoc or to control his powers, either one he was bound to burn something. At least in his eyes, he was still a little less human.

  - Any object within 50yds is capable of being a target at maximum capabilities, but strength of flames will decrease as distance increases.
  - Currently, his suppressed power only allows him to ignite objects within reach.

  - User can fluctuate, adjust, and manipulate the temperature of a substance.
  - Objects cannot be manipulated to extreme temperatures.
  - Currently unavailable for his control. The only known use for his thermal manipulation is to raise his body heat under dangerous conditions.
  - *His inability to control this trait is the cause of his instability. His body is constantly under attack by its own high temperatures, and he nearly always feels warm to the touch. Being in the cold relieves him of some of the heat, and often calms him when under stress.

Appearance:

Personality: Callum never liked the facility, and hated the bright lights within. A trouble-maker in the eyes of others he takes every chance he can get to try and escape, though never successful. He's mistrustful of others and has a tendency to go off on his own, even if he's with someone. He just wants to be alone, and finds interacting with others near impossible at times.

Bio: Callum grew up in the Ascendance facility, his father being the director. His abilities were discovered early on and looked at as an opportunity by his father. He was born with a natural light sensitivity, and dislikes bright lights in general. Unfortunately this led to many negative encounters with testing as bright lights are typically involved.

His powers emerged around the age of ten. His father found him in a dark room, emitting his own light to keep the room lit instead of turning on the light. Astounded, his father attempted to grab him and take him to the lab immediately. Startled, he let out a flash of light bright enough to make anyone look away, then used it as a distraction to hide.

When he was fifteen he found he could manipulate the way light flowed, changing its path. He enjoyed making small objects invisible and watching the guards trip over "nothing". Once he was caught doing this however, he had the memory of his abilities hidden, his powers stifled, and was sent to Ascendance facility A.

Appearance:

Personality: determined, yet flexible(haha). Likes to go with the flow, doesn't like human conflict but will win a fight he's already in. Prefers not to kill, can be cowardly if he needs to kill.

Bio: Patrick was born with his legs back behind him head. To the amazement of both his parents and the doctor who helped he was perfectly fine. He grew up being the weird kid who's double jointed in every way possible, bending his knees back farther than they should, touching his finger-tips to the back of his hand. He was always the most flexible in his age group he never practiced stretching oddly enough. He wasnt suspected as someone with powers until he got into a fight with another kid. The kid put him in an arm bar and ended up breaking his elbow backwards. He was left in excruciating pain, but when x-ray’d he only needed to be bandaged up slightly. This put him on the radar of those hunting down those like him. They found him and captured him.

Ability: elasticity, like plastic man, elastagirl, etc.

Personality: Werner is quiet and prefers to keep to himself, usually with a good book. Even though he isn't that outspoken, he is quite curious about the world around him and enjoys learning new things. While Werner does not like violence, he will fight if he has to.

Bio: Werner was born to a rich, German family, the youngest of five. Werner was a fragile child, as he was an albino, abnormally small, and seemed to have a weak immune system, so he was always kept inside, hidden from the sight of the world, for fear that he would be taken away. Werner spent most of his time in the house's library, where he read about distant places and heroes long since dead.

One day, when Werner was seven years old, government agents forced their way into the house, investigating an unrelated scandal. Werner has not hidden away that time, and they spotted him. He was taken and tested, and when he failed both tests, he was shipped off to the Ascendence facility.
