A combination of the two pictures, Aludra has long, wavy dark brown hair and light skin. Her eyes are a mix between dark grey and light, sky blue, with the blue showing in flecks. She stands at 5'7, and has a slim body and build, though she's not fragile in the least, and has some curve. Normally, her hair is braided; it is a rare treat for her to have it down. She'll normally wear a hardleather bodice with softleather panels for movement, and a full-length white shirt with plain black pants, though she's hard to notice under her dark blue full-circle cloak. On her weaponsbelt is a dagger, alchemical weapons, and a small magic crossbow.

Appearance: Standing just above the average height of other men, Armel has sharp facial features and a powerful jawline. Armel’s nose is a bit bulbous, but is otherwise beset normally upon his face which is constantly clouded with stubble, but is shaved daily by the blade. His hair, a rich brown is also cut down to be short enough as to not be grabbed during battle. A stern green gaze hides his soft insides with a supposedly hardened exterior. Armel is lean in build, but possesses more than enough strength to wear a Knight’s armor and wield a sword and shield.


Skills:


-Being a full fledged knight at only 23, Armel has proven himself a chosen swordsmen. Skilled and deadly with a long blade, he can utilize the weapon in one hand or two and professionally so.


-Second to the Art of the blade, is the Art of Rhetoric and Speech. A noble must speak proper and be able to hold his own against another in a Noble-Court.


-Thirdly, the Knight is taught the Art of Compassion. For what separates a Knight from a savage Barbarian if both are but tools of war. Armel must show compassion for the weak and protect them in kind.


Backstory: Born in Gena Saor, a Kingdom far to the West of Trulane: Armel was one of few to survive the Ash blight that plagued the Kingdom. After it’s central Volcano erupted and blanketed the land in a rain of ash, mortality in infants was nearly 100% and the population of Gena Saor rapidly decreased as mothers and children died in the choking blight that covered their land. Furthermore, many starved as animals and crops abandoned the ashen lands and left the land barren.


Gena Saor rapidly deteriorated as the Ash blight continued and Armel’s early life was festered with difficulty and strife. Each day was a battle to survive, to scrounge what meager food and water one could to survive. Raised by his Father alone, his mother passing during his birth, Armel was destined to become a Knight of the Realm should the Kingdom of Gena Saor survive the dreaded Ash Blight.


When Armel reached the age of 13, he was considered old enough to wield a blade and fight for his country. Thanks to his Father’s influence, Armel was drafted into a contingent of Ashlander Knights, an order of soldiers that scoured the Ash-ridden lands and eradicated the vermin and monstrous creatures that could survive and still inhabited these ashen lands. Among this Contingent, Armel spent most of his teenage years. Stunting his social interaction with others, yet teaching him proper speech and how to inspire those around you, Armel certainly was an awkward specimen among the Ashlanders.


Ten years go by and the Kingdom of Geno Saor is all but in ruin, only the most prosperous of cities have survived yet were reduced to little more than squabbling shanties of starving peasants and exhausted Knights desperately trying to maintain the peace. The King of Gena Saor was long dead and those who remain in the ashland live only for themselves. Armel, being among these tired Knights was given a Quest by his Knight-Sergeant:


Travel East, to the kingdom of Trulane. Believing there was a magical artifact there that would finally end the Ash Blight and allow Gena Saor to begin to repair. Armel accepted this Quest and said goodbye to his fellow Knights and his aged Father. Armed with no knowledge of the relic, Armel is sent on a goose hunt for something that very well may not exist.


Magic:


-Ashen Form is a magical ability that allows an otherwise heavy-set Knight to burst into a cloud of ash and swiftly move short distances. The ability comes only as a utility for jumping large gaps or climbing something that would otherwise be impossible in his armor.



-Doom of Gena Saor is a spell that will ignite blood on the user’s blade to temporarily imbue the sword with the power of flame. When the flaming blade cuts through an enemy, it ignites their blood as well, essentially cauterizing the wound, but causing massive initial damage.
