A Clash Of Kings (ASoIaF/GoT Roleplay)
Intro:
Westeros; a once prosperous land, that has fallen into times of peril. Queen Daevera Targaryen is dead, and the people of this once proud country have seen the opportunity to take the, now empty, throne for themselves.
Set in an alternate reality to the famed book series, and television show. A Clash Of Kings is a RP, in which five kings and queens will compete for the chance of winning "The Iron Throne", which is the seat of power in this war filled continent. There will be no characters from the actual books/show, as I want people to come up with their own unique, diverse, and complex characters.
However, The Great Houses, will remain the same. So, we'll still have The Starks, The Lannisters, and The Targaryens.
If you role play correctly, and if you make wise decisions; you could end up the King/Queen of Westeros. But, you must plot, steal, lie, cheat, and kill to make that throne yours.

The Story, So Far:
Queen Daevera Targaryen has ruled Westeros for over fifteen years, and her reign has been a horrible one. She was nicknamed; The Mad Queen, as she used a large amount of torture techniques to frighten and maim her enemies.
After being poisoned by an unknown assailant, the country has been in uproar. And several houses are now waging war in hopes of them winning and sitting on The Iron Throne.
House Baratheon has always been close with House Targaryen, but, Lord Wynton accidentally crossed The Mad Queen, and she imprisoned him, leaving him without food, water, or anything- for months on end. But, Wynton's heir gathered an army and freed him, bringing him back home to Storm's End.
The Maesters are still struggling to see how Wynton survived as long as he did, but, it doesn't matter- as now, he is on the verge of death. His heir is in uproar, along with his other children, and they've waged war against House Targaryen.
Lord Elanora Stark wanted her fourth born child to learn the southern ways, so, she sent the child to be a hand-maiden for Princess Effy. But, The Mad Queen had her way; and she had her her way with the child and imprisoned him/her. Lord Eren and Lady Elanora went down to King's Landing to bring their child back, but, they too were imprisoned.
Their heir has now gathered The North, and is marching down to King's Landing; so that he/she can destroy The Targaryens, free their family, and take the throne for themselves.
House Lannister have been in no way harmed by The Mad Queen. But, when she died, they saw an opportunity to take the throne, and they've taken it. They're marching across Westeros right now, so that they can be the country's future rulers.
House Greyjoy has just recovered from a second, failed rebellion. The people of The Iron Islands have had enough of the tyranny of The Targaryens, and they're carefully planning their way to The Iron Throne. Their previous Lord, died in the last rebellion, so his first born son Everet has taken up the mantle, and he's ready for payback.
The war is just beginning; who'll win, and who'll lose? Prince Dace is about to be crowned the new king, but, will his reign be cut short by a storm of armies seeking vengeance?
Westeros, is in utter peril. And there can only be one winner in the game of thrones.
