Inspiration for what brings the family back. An inherited property. A possible idea for townsfolk too, wary of this old family name coming with
a curse on it's breathe.

Toronto 1907 close proximity to timeline for visual inspiration

Just a short while later a look at what Ottawa looks like not long after out timeline.
Some historical inspiration.

Its so interesting how Paris looks like downtown Ottawa

GENERAL INTRODUTION

Vampires are undead, supernatural beings whose origins come from Slavic and ancient world folklore. Believed to have originated from the reanimating corpses of restless souls of the dead, heretics of established religion, users of black magic, or even those that have sold their souls to be incarnate of dark gods and devas, they are known to feast upon the blood of living beings, are endowed with dark powers, like superhuman physical prowess, electrokinesis, pyrokinesis and immortality. Vampires in Castlevania are slightly different from their real-world basis; while they retain most of their natural world traits, they also are granted the ability to use black magic, and some can draw upon the very origin of all evil itself, Chaos, to augment their power at the cost of corrupting themselves even further.

In rare situations, a vampire can be cured of their vampirism. So far, only those who have been unwillingly turned into vampires seem to have been cured. When using the vampire cures on other undead, it has been known to destroy them, so it's not always a viable option.

THERE ARE SEVERAL VARIENTS OF VAMPIRES
- These are not like races of humans but more like different evolutions of the same origin or lack there of.
- The variants are deeply steeped in cultural pride so it's best not to mistake them for one or the other.

The Motez Dam : are some of the oldest known vampires in this universe. They are also, the most common, but rarely come out during the daylight.
Their limited diet of raw blood only allows their skin to keep its form for so long in the sunlight. Sunlight disintigrates the precious and old barrier of the Motez Dam.
It's not that they would bust in to flame but it would be very uncomfortable and make them appear much older sooner. The Motez Dam, take great pride in their wealth
and power over others. They are often found in high societies such as Paris or Versailles. They enjoy the company of high society. They also enjoy manipulating them.

Sekhmet,Striga's: Their existence is few and far between. The more evolved of the two the Sekhmet consume the entirety of their victim. They can eat them raw or cooked. Sekhmet can also transform other creatures into Striga's. They tend to be much more isolated creatures and not hostile. Hence, why there are so few. Their lack of hostility sometimes
can make them easy targets for hunters or other predictors. The Sekhmet have no problem going out into the sunlight and can consume small amounts of vegetation. The Wolf's are Sekhmet or also known as Striga's.

NOT SO MUCH
Things that may not be here are in the series. Beast transformation - teleportation- Mind-reading isn't a thing for these vampires.

TURNING
On the subject of turning, I find the traditional method suitable. Although, I'm still thinking about it. Someone who has turned others is highly attached to their fledgling-like kin. It's the equivalent of being a mother.
