- Your Character
City is like heaven and it supplies itself. It has it's own police force, it's own production lines and farms. White coated buildings are decorated with blue lazuli stones. It is not limited by walls but is built on a wide mountain. Down the mountain, at the below you can see a wide, hazel blue endless ocean. Giant waves could be seen afar, which is broken by a reef closer to beach. It has a desert and a jungle on the other sides, almost divided by straight lines. It's a land truly creation of gods.
City lives through every kind of climate from extreme to mild. In land of Atlantis, death is still possible but in event of dying your soul can't be lost and will be sent straight to afterlife. Community has set it's own rules with time and does it's own elections inside. Each myth gets their own neighborhood in city but is not restricted by the neighborhoods. They just find that living with your own is healthier than living with others.
On the other hand, demigods are gifted with ability to handle themselves in emergency situations. Their instincts are honed for battle since they are born, and their eyes can see what mortals can not. Most demigods are able to atleast defend themselves with any kind of weapon, yet they won't be proficient enough without training on it. They can read their predominant language of godly parents and speak their mortal parent's language easily yet while trying to read normal words they will have problems.
Problem with demigods is that they are bound to fulfill their godly parents' desires and what they want, or they will suffer it's consequences. If there is a prophecy about them, they must take part in it or their fate will be cut short. If there is a thing their parent, or any kind of god, wants they must retrieve it for them. Gods are mostly cruel to their mortal children and although they don't speak about it openly, they don't value them as much as their immortal children. Demigods are expendable for gods and they behave in such way. Any compromise that is given to demigods were gained with deaths of thousands and are given only to keep them in line.
Each mythology mentioned has their own camps and own respectful guides. They have their own mentors and designs. Different demigods, for example a Norse demigod and a Greek demigod, won't be in the same mission together, they won't have their paths crossed in any time. Although if they set up from Atlantis they might attend to same quests, from camps they will never have any chance to do so.
Roman mythologies were generally about war and honor, therefore their culture and their deities are almost all about war. Discipline is a top priority in Romans and they believe chain of command is what brings you the victory in battles.
Greek mythologies were usually about adventure, journey and mystery. Their gods are far more independent and shady. As a culture, they would rely on individual success as well as strong community ties. Amongst themselves, they would be a fighting rabble yet against enemies they would unite quicker than others.
Norse mythologies were similar to Greek ones, they were about epic journeys and sagas. But Norse also was interested in exploring and raiding, they believed only strong shall survive. Norse people would unite under smaller, unbreakable groups. These groups could form by themselves when demigods are mere children, and they would last for their entire lives. They wouldn't get to pick who they got tied with and it would be considered fate, although it could even arrive later when they are very old. Some call these little gangs "Raiding parties", which is quite suitable when you consider why they form.
Egyptian mythologies are about settling, tradition and power projecting. Egyptian demigods will burn themselves in order to preserve traditions and they are rooted into ground where they are born. They make excellent judges and enforcers, but are also quite easy to provoke. Natural historians, they would know exactly things should be when they are in mythological sites.
Turkic mythologies are about creation and might. By tradition and choice, Turkic demigods are nomadic warriors and raiders. Their camps would move around the world, they would pick on weak and cater to strong. Any kind of weakness shown is a target for these demigods and will be exploited if needed. In their lifestyle, you either move with the horde or you are left behind for the vultures.
Powers are bestowed by blood and comes from godly parents. In order to be able to use them to their full extent, demigods must be recognised by their godly parents. That happens once they commit their lives to being demigods entirely. Each deity has their own domain, therefore their children only have powers in their domains. For example Zeus from Greek Mythology is god of the open sky, so his children would have ability to call upon lightning and ability to fly to some extent. Due to the fact that they are mortals, they can't command their domains entirely. Trying so will consume them.
Demigods are also affected by other mythological things such as mythological foods and drinks. For example, Greeks have Nectar and Ambrossia. Ambrossia heals demigods really well, though eating it more than necessary could burn through their body since they are also mortal. Each mythology has their own foods and drinks, their own charms and instruments.
Each mythology has their own set of monsters but with time, monsters have found ways to unite unlike demigods. Some work together in order to trap pockets of demigods for a feast and some even join up in same tribes to gather strenght. They can show up anywhere and they can follow demigods' smell. They will come back to life in short time after you kill them, weaker but alive again. They are mostly affected by special metal weapons demigods may carry, and those weapons are quite effective against them. Godly powers also affect them, and normal things like crushing them under a boulder could work too.
Demigods, under every circumstance, are to be outnumbered ten to one. Best they can do is avoiding as much monsters they can, and if they are caught they all know they will be fighting for their lives to escape. Atlantis City and Camps they have are only refuges they would find in the world and those places are protected by strong magical barriers for them. Gods had enough mercy to create those places for their mortal children.
Human parents for demigods can see and get involved with mythological things. They know they exist, therefore they try to hide their children until they grow up enough for the camps. It's a common thing to hide demigod children's real identity from them amongst human parents. That way, demigods won't leave a trail for monsters to follow. Some humans also may become affiliated with mythologies. They can become certain things such as Oracles or Shamans, and such humans are not affected from the mist as soon as they are born. They will be drawn towards mythologies with the time and will be discovered. It is their fate to become an instrument of gods.
Don't make it overpowered, add in some weaknesses.
Remember, Demigods are the ones who are desperate in world.
Your godly parent won't be affectionate towards you, unless they want something really specific with you.
You may dislike other demigods from other mythologies, but that doesn't mean they are your enemies. In fact, they are your distant allies.
Be creative with your scenarios and characters, don't expect everything out of me.
Characters must be OC, these kind of projects as usual won't accept or recognise Canon characters. That means, canon characters never existed in this project and never will.
Mythologies And OOC Information
This part is for OOC information about Lore and all the notes I need to include in as a GM.
Before you read it all, I suggest you read this page to see if you meet all the requirements.
— Need for literacy. I need you to be able to sort out a roleplay chapter for atleast 250 words, preferably atleast two paragraphs. Some situations could call for small roleplays which are fine, but I need everybody to be on certain level if you want to attend.
— Activity. You should be able to type in at group projects daily, atleast once in two days. If you see yourself in a situation such as you can't attend for your turn in a group roleplay, then kindly let me know so I'll tell next people to go ahead. Don't stall or ghost, explain problems you are facing and I'll try to help as best as I can.
— GM Decision solidity. If you are unhappy with an outcome of roleplay, obviously you are free to make comments. Most of the times as GM I won't be able to change what happened or I might decide not to tell you what's behind the curtain. Therefore if you agree to join this group, you agree that whatever is once written is most likely to stay.
— Understanding the information given and following up how the lore is evolving.
These are the requirements, if you believe you can meet these feel free to apply from next page.
1) I can't add every god from selected mythologies, so I'll only add the mains for now. If you have any other addition you want, please explain it under here or just PM it to me so we can discuss (Or you can just talk about it in discord). I can very well and I will add some minor gods for people to join later on according to your wishes.
NOTES
2) Every writer must fill in the character sheet and send it to me so that their character might be shown here in this thread. Sending it under in the comments won't work and it won't count official.
3) I can and I will apply changes with time, they will be mostly minor but if anything big comes up you can follow it either here or on discord. It will be both here and there, so nobody will have any problems.
4) Later on, I plan to add in Loremasters who can actually write group starters and gather people around for those stories. These people will be picked from people who join and will be allowed to see lore structure so that they can write down their roleplays.
5) There is no limit for joining, it will always be available. If you want to be able to attend group roleplays, that has a limited slots for the moment (atleast until other Loremasters are set.) but by the time first chapter ends there will be several group roleplays to attend and if we have the numbers, everybody will get their own group. Who knows, maybe we can even set events for these groups in future.
First Chapter User Limit 5/10.

They know almost every kind of musical instrument and how to play them, they are quick to master it too. Some demigods of Apollo seem to have control over fire and light, but that is quite rare. Apollo demigods also can curse others, although those are minor and harmless they are still counted as curses.
Ares/Mars — God of war and conflict. He enjoys conflict and battle more than anybody can in entire world and being the victor of his battles means you get all the spoils. His demigods are very aggressive and more martial than most demigods. They have near perfect martial abilities and immense knowledge of war. Children of Ares/Mars have mastery of every kind of weapon humans ever known and uses them to an extend nobody else can. (Mars demigods are more disciplinary and rule abiding compared to Ares' ones.)
Athena/Minerva — Goddess of wisdom, civilization, mathematics, strategy, defensive warfare, crafts, the arts, and skill. Athena would enjoy a well thought out war and an artistic skill alike. She falls in love with brains rather than brawls and is known for being goddess of Athens. Her children excel at intellectual pursuits, they are extremely intelligent and creative. They tend to be very nimble, more than any demigod can and slip out of terrible situations with no wounds.
Aphrodite/Venus — Goddess of Love and Beauty. She is the most beautiful, most perfect person in the earth without doubt. Many gods asked for her hand and many more will in the future. Aphrodite is a distinctive goddess because she comes from Era of Titans unlike most other gods. She can charm anybody and please anyone without even putting effort into it. Her children are most beautiful and charming amongst the demigods. They can, if they want to, change their appearance in a time of day just by thinking about it. They can speak French, language of love, by birth. These demigods also can use Charmspeak, an ability of charming another with speaking and making them do whatever you ask them of. Although perfecting it may take time, Charmspeak is definitely a skill most Aphrodite demigods are proud of.
Hecate/Trivia — Hecate is goddess of magic, the mist and crossroads. She is titan descendant and is usually a turncloak in any kind of conflict. She played role in background of myth and still does. Although all these, his children does not inherit all. Odin's demigods are either great warriors or great users of Rune Magic. They have to sacrifice one of their parts to rule on a part of their father's domain and they won't get to pick. This sacrifice is done via a trial at their camps or at Atlantis City, and seen sacred. Once every child is born, Odin gifts them a raven feather which will turn into an actual Raven as soon as they perform their sacrifice. After they do their sacrifice, they will lose ability to speak and their raven, which is an intelligent being on their own, will read their thoughts and speak for them.

These children are excellent defensive fighters and great judges. They are quick to decide on someone's worth. Tyr's demigods are also amazing warriors, maybe second to only Odin's children. They end up being most responsible amongst all other demigods and would carry entire world on their shoulders if they have to.
Bragi — God of Music, Wisdom and Eloquence. Bragi himself is known for his wisdom more than his eloquence or music. He is the advisor of Odin. Bragi's children are excellent diplomats and musicians. They can calm down even the angriest people just by talking and they are very wise in their decisions. His demigods can both raise dead as thralls and use them as they would like or just construct a skeleton warrior out of the bones found under ground. He lurks in deserts at the eye of storms, he invokes chaos wherever he goes. His children are natural warriors and have a very strong will to live. They can master any weapon they hold in their hand in seconds and will be able to use it to perfection. They are incredibly strong and resilient. Set's demigods are immune to any effect of sandstorms or deserts, they can also cause one in deserts and manipulate it. They wouldn't fit in with groups most of the times and they are the kid who got cast out usually.

Horus' demigods also have a falcon they are given when they are born and they can communicate with the falcon through thoughts. It will understand and obey it's master's commands and have a mind of it's own.

They are able to be invisible under the light of moon if they wish so and they will stay at the age of thirty until they die.

He is responsible for every lost soul and strikes deal with gods upon them from time to time. Their children are able to collect souls of dead monsters and people, preventing them from returning and using them in rituals to strengthen shamanism rituals. Once a soul is used, it is gone forever and that is considered a sin, a cruel act in Turkic traditions. (Shamanism rituals are like rune magic, they are just rituals to do magic. If a soul is used in these rituals, they double effects.)
Umay — Goddess of Fertility and Women. Umay considered to be formed from earth and is a great godddess, who blessed women in the traditions with fertility. It is said that every child has her touch in their forehead and that makes them blessed in the eyes of their mothers. His children are very emotional and short fused, can get angry really easily. They have ability to turn themselves into fire avatar, which does not take any physical damage but if soaked in water will lose parts of their body. They are still affected by magic. In their fire avatar form, they can conjure fire or manipulate an existing one to add it to themselves, so that they can treat their wounds.

They're generally fairly mellow, sticking to the background to watch events unfold and only ever really stepping up if something piqued their interest or offends them so bad that they can’t let it rest.
Most often, said offenses tend to be insults to their friends or family.
That is likely to be followed by such ludicrous 'pranking' that the recipient regrets every life-choice involved.
Despite this, they're still a person, and when emotions do come out of the box they shove them in, they are most often explosive from constant suppression.
Though they usually have a generally good handle on themselves, they are quite cynical most of the time, doing the same to other people as they do to themselves; pick them apart very slowly and very carefully to figure out their weakest points.
Abilities:
-Thermokinesis; The control of heat in a small area.
-Minor shapeshifting; form alterations that can take days to weeks to months, depending on what it is. Small alterations may only take hours. Very, VERY painful.
Background/Past:
Flame was born to one absolutely livid Scorch in Washington, Pennsylvania. She had not expected her one-night-stand to end in a pregnancy... but too late now.
She had the kid.
Flame, born a girl, started out her life...
Horribly. She was born with red hair—even when red hair wasn't in the gene-pool—and startlingly amber eyes that, as she aged a bit, changed to a rich gold. Her mother immediately got her contact lenses and had them covered, having to contact a few friends to order them, having them colored a dark brown.
So, for the next five years, Flame was raised uneventfully.
Until she burned the house down.
Yeah.
Flame, having been raised by Scorch, the absolute master of strategy and whacking people with oversized staffs, of course, taught Flame to get out the fire-escape (literally a window with a ladder slapped on it) in case of danger.
Despite being quite intelligent (seemingly only for mischief-making), when the time came and someone broke in, Flame did not leave out the fire-escape. No, no. She, at the time, was watching a candle burn down, always having been fascinated with fire and heat. An being a clumsy, small child, when she went to go investigate the yelling (sticking to the shadows and walking silently), she knocked over the candle.
Candle wax is fairly flammable, and... the entire house caught fire.
Having a house right smack dab in the middle of a forest... well... by the time the firemen got there, the house, a large part of the forest were on fire. And Flame was nowhere to be found.
She managed to make it about half a mile on adrenaline and insomnia before climbing a tree (she wasn't stupid; there were some fairly dangerous things out in the woods!) and passing out.
In... the middle of a national park.
She was found by a well-known neurosurgeon; Jet Kadoshi, whom decided to foster her after finding out holy shit, why the fuck do you have gold eyes?
About a year later, he adopted her and things were good for a few years... after the depression slope. Jet was training her in hand-to-hand and what few weapons he knew, they communicated often in Norse and a cipher they created for themselves (Dubbed Valiaek), and Jet continued honing his abilities. Flame came out to him and everything's great!
For now.
Current Situation: Citizen somewhere in Virginia. Schooling online and progressing too fast for their own good.

Full Name: Jet Kadoshi
No nicknames.
Previous names; Arian, Alaeris.
Age: 37 (currently hiding)
Location: Somewhere in Virginia US.
Parents:
Acayath Kadoshi (Deceased).
Thor.
Mythology: Also Norse.
Items and Descriptions: Dragonscale amulet passed down through generations that allows demigods along a certain bloodline that allows them to take on one additional form that conforms to their DNA. (See above lizardman). If removed will lock him into one form until returned. (I can give some information on lizard-y boi if you want)
Personality:
Jet is an… interesting figure. Despite being physically intimidating, he is quite a gentle soul. He’s very polite, and took on an oath of working to help instead of harm people, and would only ever fight for his, or other’s lives.
Even if he’s not feeling well emotionally, he will keep up a mask of mirth and will often refuse to tend to his own needs in favor of making sure those around him are living well. Most of the time, the best way to tell his mental state is to check how often the violin, which is framed at the top inside of his bedroom’s door, is used. The more he uses it, the worse he’s feeling, as it’s one of his most-effective outlets.
That being said, he is incredibly protective of friends and family, and the slightest endangerment to their health could have him hissing thinly-disguised warnings in your general direction.
Abilities:
-Control of electricity that passes through his body.
Jet's abilities developed in quite a strange way. All the rest of them were... diluted, possibly from past gods' blood. The only thing he has for him is being able to absorb and emit electricity. So long as he keeps physical contact with whatever he's sending it into, he can control it almost perfectly.
This usually takes the form of telepathy, limited to pattern-reading for most, but for those he knows, it gets much easier and complex concepts can be transferred.
Background/Past:
Jet was born to Thor and Acayath Kadoshi in London. His life was fairly uneventful until he was sixteen, which was when he started figuring out his abilities. His specialty was tracking the electric signals and frequencies people gave off and translating that into comprehensible thought. That's about when he decided he was going to go into neurology. He went to collage with an unnatural knack for keeping himself hidden from humans, monsters, and gods alike. He went into neurosurgery because he had steady hands and was very quick, avoiding being dragged away to a camp through the fact that he could 'hear' people's thoughts from a ways a way, though it's more of pattern-reading. His life was... surprisingly uneventful from there, save the odd hiccup here and there (Flame being one of them).
Current Situation: Traveling Neurosurgeon.

Full Name: Addison "Addy" Weaver
Age: 16
Location: Greek Demigod Camp
Parents: Michael (Father, Alive) and Mikayla (Stepmother, Alive). Greek goddess Hecate is his godly parent, the goddess of sorcery, ghosts, necromancy, and knowledge
Mythology: Greek Mythology.
Items and Descriptions: Addy owns a dagger of celestial bronze, which he has imbued with magical properties, allowing him to draw blood from his enemies' wounds, slightly empowering the blade's next strike.
Personality: Even prior to becoming aware of his godly parent and mythological origin, Weaver was always the type of boy to keep to himself and his books. His past has influenced him and made him considerably determined to do well in his studies, and to thirst for knowledge in any subject. He has a habit of bringing his current read with him wherever he goes-- even if he is unable to occupy himself with it. And of course, he can never leave behind his long-tailed weasel, Arthur. He tends to receive negative first impressions to those who purposefully interrupt him when he is busy. Despite his negativity towards being approached, he has no problem approaching others when the time calls for it.
Background/Past: Born to a poor family in Cincinnati, Ohio, Addison's parents quickly grew apart after his birth. His mother could not care for a child financially, and he didn't seem to have the greatest relationship with either of his parents. He dedicated himself to his schoolwork and his future, but inevitably could not avoid the life of petty crime that his father had been reduced to. Pickpocketing, shoplifting, burglary; if you can name it, Weaver has probably had to do it at some time. He is what one might call a "late bloomer," being one of the newest blood introduced to the Greek Camp Half Blood at fifteen years old.
Current Situation:
A member of the Camp Half Blood for Greek mythology.
Addy, and Arthur
Nevorra
Full Name: Ronin Jamal King, Jamal, King, RJ.
Age: 19
Location: Mother’s Home
Parents: Mino Sanjay (Mother/Alive) Jayden King (Human Father/ Deceased) Hephaestus (Godly Father)
Mythology: Greek
Items and Descriptions: A ring that has been enchanted to turn into a Dagger.
Personality: He tends to be more introverted towards people he doesn’t know. But when he’s comfortable around you he’s a lot more comfortable and extroverted. He feels much better in hot places. Deserts, Forges, Volcanos. Places like that. He doesn’t like cold one bit. He tends to stay inside more during winter. He doesn’t like when people abuse animals and technology.
Background/Past: He grew up with only his mother and memories of his father through photos. He learned his father was a blacksmith but died due to an accident at the forge. He died from falling into the lava after dropping something he was making. “Fortunately” A guy stepped into his mothers life and they had him. Apparently the people in the house were too much for his Godly Father (He didn’t know this at the time) so he left him and his mother. His mother quit her job. (She also worked as a blacksmith a very strong woman) And stayed home to raise him. Neither him nor his mother new that His father was a god. Not until he was claimed. Which happened fortunately at his home. They did some research and found out what it meant. His mother was, saddened for some reason and ever since she quit the job they hadn’t been earning that much money. Due to his mother teaching him how to blacksmith he got hired and began earning money for them. He found out on one day that lava and fire didn’t affect him. He kept this to himself.
Current Situation: Citizen
Kryptic
Full Name: Samantha "Sam" Jones
Age: 16
Location: Camp
Parents:
Joseph "Joe" Jones
Bellona (Despite her not being there, she is a roman goddess of war
Mythology: Roman
Items and Descriptions:
Celestial Bronze Dagger - A curved dagger with patterns going down the blade.
Personality:
Sam is a very laid back person, more often than not finding herself in trouble. Despite her skills in combat, which outrank those of the children of Both Athena and Minerva, she would rather be reading than fighting, which often gets her in trouble with the staff at camp. She will listen to her friends rant, and offer the best support she can, even if it does more harm than god.
Background/Past:
Sam's father Joe went insane after her mother left, often blaming her for it. She would've rather been dead than be blamed for her mother leaving her. During her childhood, he tried to make her the spitting image of her mother, a person she didn't even know. By the time she was twelve, she had had enough of it, and found herself running away from home. A few years later and she had found a place to call home, and a weapon to call her own, despite it being so rare.
Current Situation: Training in camp.
