Euphemia knew from a young age what legacy she would step into. Her father had been known as the bloody king, who ruled through blood and fear. She had learned from a young age to become a pillar of strength for her people, commanding the respect of her people since she was just a young woman. When her father dies before she is of age, the council steps in to rule in her stead. Even going as far to pull her younger sister into the affair, so no one ever really knew what Euphemia truly looked like, the girls were close enough in frame and appearance that any meetings outside of the council were done with a screen between them and whoever they were meeting. Her advisors had said it was to insure both girls safety, as they had inherited many enemies from their father. Yet at 21 years old..it was time for Euphemia to step forward as queen and the council was convinced she needed a husband to rule alongside her and enhance her prowess.
