French Military Camp - The Confederation of the Rhine

It was finally happening, as the clock striked for the New Year the last French forces had arrived at the camp, now all that was left was for the Prussians and Austrians to arrive in whatever force they deemed necessary. This had been in the making for some time, the Grande Armée was the largest ever assembled, how fitting to invade the largest contiguus nation in the wold. The troops were rather inebriated at this time with their commanders allowing leniency on the final night of the year and the start of a new era for Europe.
The Generals and Napoleon himself were of course quite sound with only a small amount of alcohol in their bodies....if you discounted Murat. Here they were to discuss an invasion sure to go down in the history books.
