In an alternate version of the present day, a virus has caused governments to collapse. The UN elects to send 196 immune people to wait for the outbreak to end on a large island in an undisclosed location. Forty of the representatives didn’t actually have immunity, and succumbed to the virus. Fifteen were assassinated. Six committed suicide. Two died in accidents. One-hundred were murdered out of jealousy. Twenty died under other circumstances. Only thirteen countries’ representatives survived the so-called "Representative’s Curse". After a freak accident, one final representative died, leaving twelve behind, stranded on a so-called sanctuary. What will happen as political, religious, and personal conflicts arise? Nobody knows. The twelve survivors will have to overcome their differences in order to survive to continue humanity.
