Everything about her screams perfection. From the first few interactions she easily comes off as bitchy, rude, and entitled. She seems to have a three million dollar stick up her ass, but for the most part these verbal attacks are just her way of channeling all the stress she's been put under since childhood to be perfect. Look perfect, say the perfect things, have perfect manners, eat perfectly, be sick perfectly, handle loss perfectly, and eventually die. She hasn't know freedom or relaxation since she obtained her mark as a young child.

Her new found power, despite hating it at first, has slowly helped her become more open, free, and kind. It opened up a whole new world for her, and her parents definitely don't approve.

Imagine their luck when their little daughter, at the young age of three, gets a mark from a God. It was all they ever wanted. As the child grows older they showed her off to the other Demi-Gods like a prized jewel. They put her in modelling to get her even more famous. At the end of the day it was a lot of pressure for a teenager. She had to manage all of her gigs, all of the social events her parents planned, and her school work so all of them remained perfect. One day during finals week the girl knew she wouldn't score well on a test, and under all of the immense pressure on her she stole a copy of the answer sheet. When she was caught her parents paid off the teacher into letting it slide. Much like Change when she stole her husband's elixir of immortality the girl took her future in her hands, even if it was immoral.

OVERVIEW. alex's family is a long line of demigods or failed vessels. he was prepared from a very young age to accept a being in order to fulfill his family's wish of becoming a host. he has been signed up to compete against his will, though that isn't uncommon for his family to force him into things. he has been manipulated his whole life into believing he is nothing without a being, making him bitter toward the whole process but concerned that he isn't enough. he considers himself estranged from his family.

special ability: plant manipulation - as he is only in his early stages of training, laurel can create, manipulate and shape plants such as vines, plants, moss, and fruit to use for attack and defence. he can't currently control much bigger plants such as trees but can get resources from them i.e. water, wood etc if required but that's the only extent he can currently do. with more time, he should master using specific properties of plants to help with his attacks and defence i.e. poison ivy and manipulate larger plants.

BACKGROUND
Short paragraph or two: August comes from a mixed race family. His mother is Korean whilst his Dad is Italian. They had five kids and he is the middle child. He moved around when he was growing up and that made him love cultures and finding new things. He had a lot of passion but nowhere to circumvent it. He speaks four languages: Italian, English, Korean, and Conversational Japanese. He is currently learning Latin. His mother was a cellist so music was a part of his life growing up. She encouraged her children to learn instruments and he chose the violin. He has lots of interests and commitments but balances them well. He's always been good with time since he was a kid. As he grew up these interests got bigger and bigger. Eventually he graduated from an international school with great grades and had to choose a major. His issue was that he had too many interests. There was so much he wanted to do but he didn't know what decision to make. He submitted his university applications late which was unusual for him and only got accepted to one of the universities of his choosing. A music specialist University which he wasn't completely certain would be good for his future. Nevertheless, he chose a music major and minored in business. This degree made him not confident in his abilities as a musician. He had to rely on his written work a lot more than others did. The business minor also was a boring subject and he wished he'd chosen something more fun like astronomy or psychology. He felt like time was drifting away from him but he just had to graduate and everything would be better after that.
Relationships:
Family - He is on good terms with them all but this whole becoming a Vessel for a Being thing has stricken them the wrong way. August just wants to do something good with his life and this might be his chance.

background overview: Abandoned at a young age by his birth parents, Amane was taken in by a group of Romany gypsies whilst living the life of a street rat in France. With them he found himself travelling all over Europe and exploring different and new horizons. His early life was one big adventure to the child him. Never once did he notice the pity in people’s eyes when they would look at him and his oddball makeshift family. Once he got older, he began to learn the ways of his new family. Initially he learnt the art of fortune telling with divination forming an integral aspect of Romany culture. It was his first actual job. Taking money of people who were often confused, miserable or lonely and turning it to ‘gold’. From there he learned more aspects of the culture; tracking the stars, the moon and the sky – it was when Amane first fell in love with the night. It came as no surprised when the mark of the moon appeared on his forearm.

While his outgoing personality and cheerfulness may attract the feeling that he wants to be your friend. The reality is that Junsui has no need for such things. He doesn’t like to rely on others for anything, but in truth like his parents he finds himself detached from society. He’s more lustful than he is loving and is more doubtful than he is trusting. Letting those get close to him has always been a dramatic fear especially considering his line of work. If he keeps you around it’s mostly because he finds you interesting not because he actually has a “thing” for you. The only exception to his habits and self made rules is his younger brother. Junsui found the mundaneness of his families ways to be quite underwhelming, and often set out on his own adventures to get a little kickstart to his heart. The pressure he feels in chest when the sounds of vehicles or footsteps tailing his every movement sparked joy into body. Though while as fun as it may happen to be he sadly couldn’t let himself get too carried away. Being captured would certainly grant him an earful from his father.

When he wasn’t busy taking things that weren’t his Junsui could often be found causing mischief around the one’s he doesn’t like. Simple things from placing a bucket of water on top of someone’s door to more advanced things such as causing a twelve man bar brawl by pinning the blame on someone else or simply antagonizing a situation that could have been cleared up. No matter the mischievous activities he found himself creating he was always one to watch and bask in his work. Finding immense joy in the misfortune of others.His constant mischievous deeds and thievery eventually caught the eye of a particular deity that appreciated the boy’s happiness in mayhem.

Originally, despite his family’s training in order for him to become one of the chosen Junsui never actually cared about becoming a vessel. The thought of devoting his life to such a thing bored him to death. “Magic does this and that and blah blah blah.” While it would make his life so much easier it would also take away the fun in what he does. So it came to the surprise of the Trickster God himself, Loki, when Junsui had originally denied becoming a vessel. That was until Loki had developed a way to manipulate Junsui. A promise of power that could pave the way for his little brother’s happiness? Now that was salespitch Junsui could get behind even if it meant things get a little easier for him.

BACKGROUND
Short paragraph or two: Born to a single Hawaiian mother named Alani, Kamalei was told from a young age to get a good job, help the community and be a good child to his mother and grandparents. He never knew who his father was but was told that he was a Japanese business man who she had a short relationship with before he had to go back to Japan. He didn't know she was pregnant before he left but she did send him letters for a year without replies so she assumed he didn't want anything to do with them. She worked multiple jobs to support them and wanted to give Kamalei the best life. He was very interested in his Hawaiian half as his Japanese half was tainted with the fact that his Dad didn't care for him. He was interested in polynesian fighting, dancing, food and culture. He wanted to fully take in what he could at a young age before he got too swept up in doing school work. During his teen years his interest in various kinds of dance grew. He trained hard during his teen years and gained a scholarship to go and study at college for dance. He wanted to make money as a choreographer and eventually give back to his community.
Relationships:
Family - His family are immensely proud of him for all he's accomplished over the years and wish for him to do well in his endeavours. They are sad to see him become a Vessel though as this isn't what they want for their boy but as long as he is happy everything will be fine
