she had never experienced the world as an ordinary human and would rather stay at the edge of the world hidden right underneath their noses.
ginny moved to new york for the prestigious magic academy operating alongside a non-magic, looking to be a researcher about the origins of magic and what they've yet to know.

Although the Fallen have their wings cut off, Mavis still has hers. They are a feathery dark gray, dimmed from an angelโs usual pure white; her wingspan when spread entirely is twelve feet. A variety of scars of all shapes and sizes cover her body from her many years as an angelic warrior. Perhaps the most prominent ones are those on her back where her wings were cut off when she Fell; they are sharp, jagged lines that cut across her skin. She despises fancy clothing of any kind and can always be found wearing simple clothes that she can easily move around in. She typically has a leather jacket on her as well.

Brief Biography
Before she Fell, Mavis was the second-in-command under the Archangel Mikael. She served as his right hand and Commander for thousands of years and they had a fairly close mentor-mentee relationship. When Mavis Fell, however, she lost any rank and prestige she had once had. Mavis Fell from grace one hundred and forty years ago. Her crime was falling in love with Quinton Westbrook, a half-demon warlock. Her wings were cut off, her magic stripped from her, and she was cast down to earth. Her wings were saved, however, by Quintonโs healing magic, which is why she still has them. She has been living on earth since the late 1800s and will continue to do so until the end of time, as Mavis is immortal and can only die if she is killed. Currently, she holds a job at a library in New York City. She finds this job tolerable as she enjoys reading and the work involves limited interaction with people. She resides in a small apartment deep in the city in the borough of Manhattan. She has many connections to the magical underground of New York and tries to ensure that none of them harm the humans. She also will kill most demons that she comes across to ensure that the humans remain protected from the reach of Hell.
