Pointer
The girl pointed immediately towards Jon with a shaking finger. What ever was that for? Well, your finger gravitated towards Jon. That made sense! Jon knew more than the girl did.

Suddenly, all eyes in the room turned towards Jon rather than the girl. They were now looking at him.

Liz: "Jon? Why's she pointing at you?"
Shaun: "Yeah...that's kinda odd. Hey, what does she know?"

Bad, no, don't backfire.

Jon: "Hey! All I did was have a run-in at the supermarket with two guys in chainmail scarves and black suits and they were talking about an ice girl!"

Liz: "A nice girl?"
Jon: "An ICE girl. They probably want her."

The girl's finger remained on Jon. The feeling of cold began to overwhelm her, and the tip of her finger began turning a pale silver color. Soon, the silver spread to all her fingers. The girl slowly got to her feet and began to walk towards the door, each step managing to slightly contort the floorboards.

Jon: "S-She's the one! They were looking for someone who was freakishly strong, and look at that witchcraft!"
Shaun: "Jon, we don't have evidence. Besides, what are they gonna do to her if they get her?"
Jon: "They didn't say."

Liz stepped forwards and thrusted her arms out, making a block between the boys and the girl. Tears formed in her eyes, and her mouth twisted into an angry frown.

Liz: "She's just so lost and confused! We aren't turning her in anywhere, y'hear? We're going to have to keep her here! And if anyone thinks that they can get her..."

With a frustrated grunt, Liz stormed off to a closet. A moment later, she showed up holding three assault rifles with an emblem of fire engraved on them.

The boys' eyes widened as they saw the rifles.

Jon & Shaun: "Dad's rifles!"
Liz: "Exactly. They aren't taking our ice girl. We're standing up for the right thing!"

Jon & Shaun: "Yea!"

As this excited state spread through the area, the girl froze up (no pun intended) and stared at them. What were those metal things? Were they going to use them on her? Think fast...

[1. Beg them to not use them on her, even though you can't speak.]
[2. Try to break the metal things.]
[3. Run.]
[4. Cry.]

4. it seems like the most logical way to alert them something's wrong, besides, what if the metal things are actually to help us?

2 what good does crying do? because they are scared it is possible they might use them on her

Assault Rifle
The girl sat for a second, staring at everyone. Her fist clenched before finally, it happened. Her expression snapped, her body began to shake, and tears welled up in her eyes. Slowly, one by one, they fell to the ground as the girl tried to get a grip on herself. This was an uphill battle, and she was losing. The girl finally lost control and began to sob loudly, though her voice didn't sound natural at all. It sounded hollow and icy as her wails of fear began to ring through the house.

Liz stared wide-eyed at the girl before dropping her assault rifle and running over. She crouched down next to the girl and cupped a hand under her icy chin.

Liz: "Nono sweetie, don't cry! It's okay! We're here for you, remember? Are you scared of the guns? They're not for you, they're for the people who are trying to find you! Please don't cry..."

As Liz comforted the girl, Jon and Shaun prepared for attack. They put the assault rifles on the bed and extracted a box of cartridges, setting up several ammunition belts while Liz comforted the girl.

Liz pressed her head against the girl's.

Liz: "Please calm down, take deep breaths, don't...don't be like that...it's painful for me, and all of us. Here, come here."

Liz slowly wrapped her arms around the girl and rested her hand on the back of the mess of hair on the girl's head. The girl sobbed a couple more times before finally calming down, submitting to Liz's warmth.

At that moment, a doorbell rang. The door was suddenly opened from the outside, and men in chainmail scarves were standing there.

Chain Scarf: "Sorry, wrong house- wait, why is it so cold in here?"
Scarier Chain Scarf: "Yeah. Odd."

Liz: "Hey, that's not your business. Wrong house, you said. Please leave."

Liz tried to close the door, but had the door pushed back by one of the chain scarf guys.

SCS: "Sorry, but, we're looking for someone. Have you seen a girl who's colder than usual? Someone who has extraordinary abilities?"

Jon: "Haven't seen her."

The girl was beginning to understand. She was the one they were looking for. What to do?

[1. Turn yourself in]
[2. Close the door on their face.]
[3. Attack!]
[4. Cry some more.]
[5. Tell them you're not the one. Or at least try to.]

4, if you cry, Liz and the boys might assume you're scared of the guys in chain mail and, since you can't talk, would (hopefully) make them leave

SCS: "Well? Why isn't she talk-"

BOOM!

The girl, in two swift motions, had moved forwards and slammed the door shut, hard enough to blow away some of the snow from the outside of the door. Liz quickly stood up and locked the doors as well, sighing heavily.

Liz: "What was that all about?"
Jon: "No civil respect. What have the authorities come to?"
Shaun: "Surely they know what they're doing."

At this point, the knocking on the door began to increase, violently so.

SCS: "Hey! You can't close the door on the authorities just like that! And not that hard either! I think we realize that you're harboring the ice girl!"

Crap.

Liz: "Shit...they know. Let's get moving! Back exit, everyone."

Everyone scrambled to the back exit, even the girl. The girl froze up slightly as she looked back, then looked straight. Liz kicked open the back door and soon everyone was out into the snow, running for their lives.

Liz: "Hey! Where to?"

[1. Point to the grocery]
[2. Point to the outskirts]
[3. Just keep running, out of the city, and hope they'll follow.]

The girl's hand found itself moving forwards and pointing towards the outskirts of the snow city. That was apparently the safest place for them to go at the moment, and that's exactly what the others figured as well. Sprinting alongside her, the others continued to run.

The running continued for several minutes; fifteen, to be exact, and nobody exchanged a word. As they finally made their way to the outskirts, almost everyone took a minute to catch their breath. Liz, Jon, and Shaun were gripping their knees, taking in deep breaths while the girl hadn't done so much as broken a sweat.

Liz: "How...are....you...not...tired..."

The girl shrugged.

Jon: "Good enough for us. Hey, quick question. How did they know that she was the ice girl after she closed the door? They did mention the ice girl was freakishly strong, but you look as limp as a noodle!"

Shaun sighed.

Shaun: "She simply has a lot of muscle mass. I don't think-"
Liz: "Guys, look."

The entire town was masked by a snowstorm. They had no sense of direction, and they were presently lost in the area. The girl began walking backwards towards a cave, as did the others follow her.

Jon: "Did you...cause this?"

Liz: "Back off! She doesn't have that kind of power. The last person who had that scale of power was...dad."

At this, tears came to Liz's eyes. She extended a hand out, which was soon gripped by the girl. The girl held Liz's hand, and the two's eyes connected.

Liz: "Thanks..."

Jon: "Dad wouldn't want to see this us like this. He'd want us to be strong like he was."

As the snowstorm picked up, the girl immediately acted on instinct. She grabbed the three by the arms and held them tight, and...

[1. Step VERY HARD, towards the cave]
[2. Walk slowly towards the cave]
[3. Step VERY HARD towards the general direction of the town]

1. I don't know what stepping VERY HARD will do, but since it's in all caps I'd think it would be important.
