I kind of liked it. I'm in agreement about the humor. So much of it was forced. No pun.
To all of those complaining about a non-Luke Luke. Uh, how long has it been since Luke was part of the storyline? He's aged. He's experienced things. If any of us doesn't change after what, forty years...
I make playlists for my characters. Pretty much all of them I'm in love with, in fact. I can tell if I'm going to stick with a character by my interest in making a playlist for them. Yep.
My Will and Penny are a bit of Flogging Molly and The Hidden Highways and Chris Isaak and the Wailin'...
Argh. I wish there were a version of Nano that was more along the lines of: Write your book in six months. Then, I'd probably get this done. As it is, I love the agonizing over the proper word process, making things pretty-- editing as I go before the real edits start. But, glory to all the...
I don't want to rest in peace
I want to dance in joy
I want to dance in the graveyards
The graveyards
And while I'm alive,
I don't want to be alone
Mourning the ones who came before

Ohmigerd. Have you seen the "Uncovering Shakespeare" series on PBS? Very good. Breaks down a few of his more famous plays.
I prefer his histories.
Also, movie adaptations by Kurosawa like "Throne of Blood" are fun.
I did not like the Macbeth adaptation with Michael Fassbender. It...
Ehh, try Appalachian ballads. They often have their roots in Scottish/Irish songs from around the 1700/1800s. Lots of Scots and Irish up in them thar hills.
