Hm. Yeah I've had a tendency to get indecisive. But that actually helped reveal the problems with it.
Thanks for the help fam! I'll be making some decisions on stuff, then I'll finally get this rollin'!
Uh, just to kinda keep a discussion goin', what do yalls think are the best ways to spark...
There is a certain level of vivid freedom in those comics and that's what I was getting wrong. I'm an idiot.
Yeah. Okay.that's why.
So, it's a bunch of paranormal stuff happening around peeps in a modern day setting. Actually, I kinda like that.
But, let's not get ahead of myself.
I've kept in...
Hmmm, Interesting... I am gonna keep that in mind. The settings always interested me and it's sorta split me- because, with a setting like that, I lose the chance to have the town be an active or side-active part of the rp...
However, I don't seem to have found many other options. I will refer...
Hi, I'm Panzer, And I've recently just poured 6 months of my life (ehhh around that time anyways) into developing a trainwreck. I've planned every pain-staking detail - wiped it clean and wrote over the ashes of burning concepts and designs. I'm just absolutely dog-tired... Today, I figured out...
Thank yew!
I'll be thinking up ways to change and modify the concept to fit this. Now I've got some idea as to how II can go about this!
Thanks again Idea, mang.
And thanks for the luck, I know I'll need the blessings from the RPN gods.
XD
Hmmm... Yeah. I did have this idea to where interactions are kinda brief and kinda transitional- treated like a webcomic or like a cartoon. Ive noticed that rps that try to go off of one continuous line of interaction will often crash and die...
But, that's a different issue for a different...
So, I need advice as to how to correctly focus the players onto a sort of situational plot in a kinda paranormal modern city thingy.
I kinda wanted to leave the town open for exploration, but an open world- slice of life doesn't seem to work all that well in a paranormal mystery setting.
All in...
Well, it's focused more so on simplicity to be more like webcomics, and it's using anime tropes and things along with comic tropes. It's set in a setting that I haven't quite set in stone yet, however, its mainly split between many phases and many variations of a series like different universes...
Oh, ye. Uh well the rp kinda fell apart so you didn't really miss much. I am making it (again) with a more danganronpa twist and a focus on webcomic rules instead of cartoon rules. But development has bee a bit slow.
But yeah, nuthin much went in while you're gone. Server is still up and people...
Ooooo certainly an interesting suggestion. I know the thrill and imagery of that- Big planes trotting slowly over targets like an eclipse across the sun, dropping explosives. The thrill of having to defend such a big explosive barrel from fighters taking shots and whizzing past like flies. Its...
Ah, Alrighty. Hmmm. If you were a player in an RP based in a cast I'm vehicles- which type of vehicle would you prefer? Personally, and you don't have to give a reason if you don't want to.
Would you prefer planes? (The old prop+ machine gun kind, not the super fast lock on jets)
Tanks...
Ah, yes, sorry for the late response my friend! Internet has gone and dunked itself into a vat of burning oil. SO, let's do this. I am currently theorizing things based on player interaction! Hm, can you remember anything in the past that you would consider to be an amazing group with tons of...
LOCAL PANZER HECKING LOSES IT.
Hey yall, It’s me, Ya boy Panzer.
I need help assembling together an idea of mine...that I made from stolen pieces...
You see, I’ve been craving something which I could describe as a Barrack Rp - I will lay this general idea out so if anyone has an actual title...
Well, I'd have to add these beauties to the pile,
Or at least mention them. I haven't read all of the posts here to see if these were already stated:
A universe similar to KnT and Z-Doodler's Comics.
Song in the Sky, a pilot for a cartoon series that aired on YT not too long ago.
and finally...
Mine are always weirdos of the like.
I love the "Grotesque" trope; it covers characters from those who are visually disturbing or in some other internal way. Think of the kind of fella you'd find both peculiar, disturbed, or in some way is an oddity.
I also usually gravitate to making...
Yeah, Hm...
Well, it must be the energy- but that might be a bit difficult to transition into writing... It indeed is- I'm trying to take a singular visual media that is coordinated by 1 or more people in a business to present to an audience- and I'm trying to awkwardly shove it into an RP...
Perhaps the -Grounded- thingy, since that must've been used incorrectly...
I guess I meant a connection to an idea of everyday life and struggles in a modern-life setting but basically turned into a place where more freedom reigns in the design- I warped a little town into a certainly...
Hmmmm, I guess the cartoony stuff mostly comes from how I want to pace the RP, since I'd rather avoid a melodramatic "Realistic TV Drama" feel.
I do believe I am missing something important...
Mhm, Definitely. There are a lot of things those two things (GF and Z-T) accomplish, I wanted to strive for a good few of those feelings that I could try to produce here in text:
Paranormal Mystery, Comedy, and Casual-feeling without being an extreme of either side. Well, if we are talking about...
Well goodness, this certainly got a discussion going! Sorry for the lack of responses, I had finally awakened from my slumber. Give me one moment to respond to everyone here!
