Good list. But anyone in their right mind will write their post in a word processor, like google docs, grammarly or word and then paste. Not that I think you don't know that. Just thought I add to the caveat.
I agree that BBCode formatting is out of control and often a massive waste of time for all concerned, 100% agreed. You could (which is something I've been thinking about doing) establish a post template for your own forum game and disallow anyone from formatting outside your given parameters...
@Idea
Anyhow, thanks for the explanations. Very useful for me indeed. I'm going to go through all the previous posts on economics you put here during the day to get that economic document going.
The largest gold mine in the world is in South Africa at a depth of 4km. They bout to hit the balrog any minute. SA sits on 50% of the world's gold reserve.
Well besides inflation, the price of gold is increasing as less of it becomes available on the planet and it becomes more expensive to retrieve because of deeper mining.
Sounds really interesting. Nice to mix so much at once to get something really original
So as long as it's coming from an original place you're for it? How can you tell that a character is a modified harry potter character? Would love to hear some memories about that.
What is the one thing you...
So it's kind of a goat and kind of a horse? I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be annoying or anything. And I don't get the pokemon thing at all, really never was into it. But that's my bad.
So what you're essentially saying is you have magical/mythological creatures that are domesticated in the...
So it's a zoo in our world but it has mythological creatures? But you lot me in how a unicorn is a goat and a dragon is a dog? How does that work? Is the dragon small like a dog and can do tricks?
Interesting idea nonetheless.
I really enjoy Shadwonrun as a setting also, it's just too bad that...
I'm interested to find inspiration for my own setting I'm creating and would like to know what your favorites are. It could be an established setting, like a fictional universe or a historic period or just a type of setting that you prefer but not specific. I'm not looking for plot themes here...
Okay. But isn't hyperinflation related to a bad economy? But slightly higher inflation doesn't have to mean that one economy is worse than another?
Isn't it true that no inflation is bad for the economy? You know why that is?
So, what you're saying is that one dollar was in direct relation to an...
Ah yes, I see. That makes sense :P
So the fact that the British pound has been so valuable is that they have maintained inflation better than others?
That's interesting, how did that work?
Very interesting, I shall keep this in mind when writing about how corporations cooperate to maximize...
@Idea I have a question for you if you don't mind. Do currencies only change in value in relation to each other? What I mean is if I have only one official currency, can the corporate rulership create a system where that currency's value is fixed so that a cheeseburger, for example, would remain...
