Other What is the number one reason you stop replying to, or stop participating in roleplays?

Wait, is there a Sims roleplay? How the hell does that even work? Jomson looked at Bellana, her face contorted into sadness, tears flowing from her eyes. He was finally going away, and she will never had the opportunity to express her feelings. "Blurba, hepjin goi!" She blurted, crying even...

That was all of us at a certain point in life, so it's fine to laugh.

This. I don't want to be the only one making the scenario, NPCs and make the plot go forward. I wanna build something together with the person I'm roleplaying. I guess another pet peeve is railroading. The plot needs to follow the exact plan they lay out, and nothing can deviate from that...

I can just imagine the player playing Gordon Freeman, completely serious, bent on destroying whatever fiend that would burst from thin air. And John Freeman, facing full life c o n s e q u e n c e s

Experiences What is the funniest thing that happend in a roleplay?

It was on a DnD table, but the thing was mostly roleplayed: My character had no range to cast a spell, so he was going to either take a whole turn walking down the wall or... Jumping. A 5 meter wall into hard stone. He failed the test, and almost killed himself, and people started calling my...

Experiences Where did you roleplay before you came to RPNation?

I used a program called iRPG. It was a chatroom based program that you could make character sheets and whatnot, and it was more focused on the chat part. I discovered roleplaying there and I haven't stopped since. My second place to be was actually here, and I'm really happy to be on this site...

    Experiences Favorite Character!

I actually have two favorites. Zarrok Thenon, Tiefling Warlock. He was unintentionally suicidal (Remember kids, don't try to jump off a tall wall with a low Acrobatics, and DO NOT STAY IN FRONT OF TREANTS JUST TO CAST A COOL SPELL), devoted to Titania, the Archfey, who saved his life, and...

Character Theory Magic Use: Free Hand vs Catalysts and More

I love working with Sigils: Either drawn or tattooed, although I prefer the tattoos. I dunno, I like having mages needing time to cast their spells, both through time or pain. Plus, having parts of your body glowing when you cast a spell is always fun.

Other Idea Creates You a (super?)Power (Quizz)

I thought of it as swapping attributes both between other supers and between normal things. So you have a potted plant for example, alongside a dude who can "create fireball". You can swap the fireball with the object(possibly consuming the object?) and turn it into "create potted plant". Of...

Other Idea Creates You a (super?)Power (Quizz)

    1) What is justice to you? Just is making sure that one pay for their crimes, in a way that both allows for them to redeem themselves and to pay back what they did to the community. 2) What is victory to you? Accomplishing a set of objectives in a satisfactory way. 3) You are a hero. A...
