I fortunately haven't found stuff like that, but I kind of stray away from groups RPs usually. I guess my advice is: leave, or you can create a new RP with the ones that feel left out.
Oh, Mauve! I hope you're doing alright and that you regain passion for RPing if that's what you wish. I remember you didn't ghost on me when we RPed and you were a good writer and partner, so don't be too hard on yourself either!
Yes, for sure a lot of people would. In fact, I wish there were more anime like that. Just quiet slice of life anime with the plus that they're playing a game. Oh, and there's an anime like that about girls who play tabletop games which will air next season, I think. I'll definitely be checking...
I certainly get very emotionally attached to my characters! I would never give them away, for they're my children, you know? I try to give them all time to play, but the one I use the most is my first character, probably because she was the first one, but don't tell the others, okay? ;D Most of...
Mmm I have seen many old roleplayers here, though. Guess it's just a matter of looking and specifying it on the title so that it attracts those you want, as always.
I love all my children! They mean a lot to me, and I put a lot of effort into creating them. I have a lots of OCs created and I choose one of them to play them instead of creating one specifically for a roleplay. I don't know if people do that, but I think it's the best way to bond with your...
Mmm I'd say it's because most of the people here are young. I'm around 20 so I play characters that are around that age, I guess? But it's something that's so intrinsic that I actually took it as default without giving it an afterthought.
Glad to be of help! If you want to limit your time on a computer, you can also set up a 'shutdown' system. That is, make a .bat (in Windows) or a .sh (I think, in Linux), that tells the computer to shut down in, let's say, two hours. You can execute it when you wish, or you can make it go off...
You could try writing stuff in paper and then just transcribing it onto your PC. That way you'll not wander the internet for long and will be more focused on just getting the writing done; plus you'll probably do it faster, and it's a nice change of environment. Also that, change the environment...
I was actually going to add something along the lines of what you say on maturity. Yeah, what I think is that one should try not to get frustrated with people and just to move along and try to be the better self one can be; at least, that's what will make one feel better and happier. Of course...
