Underage people (minors) use the site. The rule is there to protect the end user and RPN from both internet dangers and legal issues. Pretty much sums it up
I suppose that makes sense. However, it would still be on the site and users would still need to follow site rules. I don't see why having clubs would change that.
I think it'd be cool if there were clubs on this site. There could be writing clubs, art clubs, and many more. I understand given the server load this would potentially cause it might not be a feasible idea at this time but I just wanted to put it out there.
It's really nice to have the ability...
@The Dark Wizard I don't believe this is a thing yet, but let me know if I'm wrong.
My idea is this: Giving members who have been on the site for X amount of time badges and/or giving people badges according to how many posts they have (you'd get a badge at like... 5000 and go up from there...
Hey! I was just wondering if there's a tag restriction on people who have just joined the site and don't have 10 posts yet? If there is... is there a reason for this? I think it would be a good idea to allow tagging so that users who aren't familiar with the site can get notifications from users...
ohhh nono you've already covered that, I didn't mean to make you repeat yourself. No, what I meant was... like... if I go to a roleplay usually the GM will have links to things like "OOC, IC, CS, Extras" then when u click them ur redirected to another part of the site like... "Fantasy Extra...
That... was FK'ing glorious <3 is what that was haha I still like how some GM's have been able to almost replicate the tabs... although I'm not personally sure how to do it. Do you still have to request the extra pages?
The last time I remembering having a hosted project... I'd just request the name of the threads, staff would create them, and that was it. I don't ever remember needing to do any moderation. But I'll take your word for it. I just can't remember clearly
hmmm... I mean this has definitely given me a much better understanding of why it can't be done right now so I appreciate you taking the time to explain all this stuff to me. Tabs seem like they would be useful, but link text is just as effective I think
hmmm idk if that's quite what I'm thinking basically... how u can click on "general discussion" and see all the peoples threads, only instead of random stuff you'd just see the threads relevant to the RP. Is that the same or is that different?
Well I guess that makes sense but as it stands currently... I feel the GM to Roleplayer relation works relatively well on it's own. If any major problems arise they can contact the staff. The benefit of an HR (to me) is that you're able to go to a singular thread where it contains all of the...
Okay so... my question is... why make the GM's have those certain permissions? Why not handle those conflicts via support or the report system as those seem to be top priority? Or is it necessary for those permissions to be implemented for the GM to even access that particular thread?
Oh okay I'm not familiar with the sites innerworkings (obviously) but I was under the assumption that it would just be a matter of creating a thread, then titling each topic for navigation. At least, that's how its worked on sites that I've hosted myself. If you have time... whats the process? I...
just a quick question @The Dark Wizard I've got a lot of free time on my hands, would you by chance be in need of another helper application specifically for hosted projects because I can create at least 5 a day, I'm pretty sure
