Suggestion new badges

The Dark Wizard I don't believe this is a thing yet, but let me know if I'm wrong.

My idea is this: Giving members who have been on the site for X amount of time badges and/or giving people badges according to how many posts they have (you'd get a badge at like... 5000 and go up from there, next one could be 10000, etc.).

What do you guys think?

With regards to giving badges for numbers of posts, I'd be worried that this would encourage lots of low quality posts just to get a shiny badge on your profile. There is already a leaderboard for most posts/likes anyway.

I had a sketch at one point for anniversary badges, to be awarded on the anniversary of an account's creation and always superseded by the newest badge. I still would like to see a little something that recognizes old and active accounts.

We might do anniversary medals in the future. It is something the staff has discussed.
