A girl in my school got molested by some 30 year old guy. It was basically statutory rape but with just sexual acts and not sex itself. (The high school I attended was a small private Catholic school who claimed to be really holy and all that). She got blamed for "wanting it" and got kicked out...
So I found out it was a discovery of witches was a TV show first, watched the first episode, realized I liked it and wanted to read the story before continuing to TV show any further :D

A discovery of witches by Deborah Harkness. I'm thinking it's my kind of book. It's apparently like a more mature twilight with better writing (I hated twilight's writing)
